They didnt properly close the premises leading to ADDITIONAL BUGS inside the home from the porch, plus they denied my insurance claim and lied to me about their treatment of my apartment. All of this despite the fact I followed all of their prep instructions and provided photo evidence of the damage they did.NEVER hire this company if you want to ensure your home and goods are safe. THEY ARE CROOKS.

If you ever have wildlife needs, Levi is your man! He is prompt, courteous, patient, and very knowledgeable!Last year, we had one black snake, which was fine. This year the black snake decided to have a family reunion at our home. Living with woods around your house - this will happen. Levi promptly came to our house and removed the first black snake. He educated us, recommended snake scram around our house and yard. Additionally, he checked our attic, made recommendations on removing any lower limbs, ivy, around bushes, etc.Over several weeks we started seeing the black snakes family show up. A total of five snakes! We would text Levi, and he would come back quickly and remove the other black snakes...one at a time week after week. Weve scheduled Levi once per month during the active snake season to apply snake scram, and we no longer have snakes having a family reunion at or around our home. The snake scram pushed them away from our home and out into the yard where the snakes were easily visible. Our neighbor was so impressed they also requested Levi to do the same treatment.

Great service. Have been using them for years. Years ago we used a local service that never controlled our spider issue. This company always does a great job. They are more expensive than my previous service, but are well worth it. Always friendly, professional service.

This is a review of my quarterly treatment for insects in and around my home and Levi who is with the wildlife management group.Ryan is my technician and he is awesome!! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has answered every question I’ve had in detail. He’s professional and an all around nice guy. If I have an issue between treatments he gets back to me quickly. I’m extremely satisfied with him as well as the wildlife management team who have handled several issues including removing squirrels from my attic and sealing all entry points, removing a possum who was injured when he overturned a concrete bird bath top onto himself, and most recently removing a black snake from my attic!!!!!!! There was a snake skin in the attic and Levi came to determine where the snake entered the attic and while he was evaluating the area he saw the snake and, without saying anything, calmly guided me out of the attic and assured me he would get it which he did. There are no words to express my gratitude for the way he handled the situation and me because I was quite upset!!

We called for a yellow jacket nest on the ground. The admin was helpful and the technician called within 24 hours. Mike was prompt and got the job done. Reasonable fee and no complaints!

We have used McNeely Pest Control - specifically Wildlife Removal expert Mark Parsons on two occasions.-The first was in 2017 when we had two raccoons fall down our chimney.-The raccoons were so difficult to get out that Mark had to come back several times until he got them out. HOWEVER, each trip was completely necessary since, on each occasion, he moved the ball forward.-Also, he provided us some things we could use/do in between visits to make things easier for us.-Then, after removal, he proposed a solution to prevent this in the future - which has worked completely/perfectly.Second was recently (2021) where we had bats in our attic.-The first and only person and company we considered calling was Mark Parsons and McNeely Pest Control because of Mark.-Mark called to set up the appointment - remembering us from the previous call. On that call, he gave us a suggestion that we used to prevent the bats from potentially getting into the rest of our house.At the first appointment, he set expectations and price (as he had done in 2017) - the price being fair and equitable which he stuck to.-He answered every question we had and gave us instructions about what to expect- all which he met.-He told us some things he had seen (small bugs that come with bats) that might be able to get into our house - and that they were no danger to us and would disappear on their own.-He told us what he would do to prevent any recurrence in the future - without changing the appearance of our house.Mark was (again) fantastic!-The job was done on time and completely - including him going into our attic to make sure all of the bats were gone.As long as we know Mark is working in our area, we will call for him. He makes McNeely Pest Control our first choice.

A wonderful company to do business with. Both of the technicians I have had in my home for my service contract (Benny and Adam) have been thorough, thoughtful and pleasant.

We have a quarterly pest control service with McNeely. Roger does an excellent, thorough job at our house.

We have been customers of McNeelys pest control for nearly 5 years. This is no longer a locally owned company. This year we paid for the mosquito treatment. They have missed services and still charged us. We have called several times, the customer service lady is unhelpful and not friendly. She insists that they have treated our yard and it is completely incorrect. We have three dogs therefore we schedule our treatments so that I can make sure our dogs are safely inside. The yard is full of mosquitos. They have told us twice that a manager would call us and we have yet to get that call. We were suppose to have a treatment this week and no one showed up. This was a wonderful company when it was locally owned. The lesson here is to look for locally owned companies. We are doing that right now!

Benny is a great asset for McNeely. He is meticulous and insightful in his approach! Hands down the best! Very satisfied.

If bugs you want dont call McNeely. I called them for Carpenter Bees, Carpenter Ants, Termites, and mosquitoes. Now I am protected against all these pests.

Terry does a great job. He comes out quarterly, inspects the house inside and out. Sprays both for general pest control. We used to have a seasonal issue with yellow jackets and wasps. I showed Terry the first time he came out. He sprays the areas regularly, and for the last couple of years no more issues.

Mike did not remove cobwebs from exterior windows.

Levi was very professional from the 1st phone call until the end of service. He asked questions about what kind of noise, time of day, and what did it sound like. On the phone, he said raccoon. He came out to assess the property from outside, he said raccoon. He then looked in attic and there sit a raccoon. Levi got busy setting his traps. He kept me informed daily. I was always aware of his plan if action. Levi is very much a people person that shows concern.

We use McNeely for termite traps, mosquito/flea/tick, & regular indoor pest control. They are GREAT.We just switched from Rays Pest Control. I felt like the Rays people were never showing up on time, honestly their service team made me feel uncomfortable, and we still had a ton of issues with their mosquito buckets.Not to mention, despite the regular reminders we needed a consistent appointment time, theyd never schedule us correctly over 2 years we used them.I love that McNeely actually sprays for the mosquito/ticks/fleas because of our dogs. Ben B. has been so responsive and it has been great. He shows up right on time, and explains to me what is being done, how to prevent future issues, and what to expect as our pests are being treated for. We just moved, so are still trying to figure out where our defenses need to be focused living in the woods! Ben has been super helpful. The McNeely team has been great with scheduling, calling to confirm and check when works for my schedule, and not just sending me a recorded voice mail like Rays would do- telling me when theyre coming.Its just been great and I could not be happier.Update as of May 2021: Still very pleased, Ben is awesome. Very happy having the same face take care and learn about our home and our needs. Hes also so friendly- and I continue to recommend him/McNeely to friends!

Ive been loyal customer and 5-star review writer for McNeely for nearly 20 years. This review is in response to a particular service. The treatment for stink bugs was not so effective. Thanks to Nick, the technician who reached out to me to make it right! A second, more detailed treatment followed along with an explanation for what may have been the problem the first time. Excellent customer service is another reason why I stick with McNeely.

I used to get Henderson Pest Control to come to the house and spray. They were a great company till McNeely took over. The usual service I had received in the past was definitely not there with this new company. They used to spray my whole house with a hose from the back of their truck, knock down cob webs and wasp nests, lay rodent bate under my shed and much more. It was a service that typically took about 45 minutes and well worth the $90.Now... a kid came with a backpack spray. Said it had new owners that said the past owners were using too much chemical (that is why your company has a license... to use it). It was the equivalent of me getting my $20 spray jug of home defense out and doing it myself. After the kid sprayed with the backpack for 15 minutes and left, I called the company. I explained that the service was completely lacking compared to what we had in the past and what my expectations were. He said he could send someone out again. I told him I had an appointment at 3 and would be gone and didnt want someone coming back when I was not home. Because of covid, they changed my appointment to a teleconference so I was home when that kid came back right at 3, when I specifically told him I didnt want anyone at my house! Company doesnt listen to their customers. Thats another strike against them. I explained to the kid all that used to be in the service and I still to this day have wasp nests on my home. I later took the spider webs down myself with a broom. The bugs came back after about a month. If I wasnt home when he came back.. I would have never known he was there. I never heard back from the company about the kid coming back to check on my satisfaction. Obviously they dont care about their customers and dont want repeat customers. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

Customer was excellent. When technician came out he was early and very thorough even remove 2 hornets nest on the front porch and one in the backyard we didnt see. Prices are great when you sign up with on of the plans the deciding factor was the $50 off for first appointment for month of July 2020 hasnt been long enough to see if bugs and pest are gone but so far so good id recommend over other services in Winston-Salem that I have used in past.

I had a good experience with this company. Their prices are competitive but the service is excellent. The employees I worked with were very nice and not pushy. They did a good job and I will use them again.

Managing Pest control through McNeely is a unique and very easy process. They entrust Derrick the technician to manage the entire process. I like this because he is the one on site and most familiar with my problems and needs. He makes great decisions and recommendations and we are able to address these issues quarterly via a simple text or two. Very efficient!

McNeelys was very responsive to my request for a quote for their services. The technician they sent out was on time, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were great at checking in with us to see how things were going as well as making sur that our problem was getting taken care of.

Not reliable. Came to do service in December and could not do outside portion of service. Said that they would come back again to do outside. Have not seen them. We will pay for the December service when it is completed. We will then cancel our service. Paying 90 dollars per service is not worth five minutes of work.

The McNeely Team does a great job - I use them for regular pest control maintenance and they are always responsive and on time. TWhen I have needed them to react quickly for an off schedule visit they are here, attentive and take care of any issue I have! Highly recommend!

Contacted about snake removal and prevention after having 6 snakes come in on us while remodeling our newly acquired house. Was told that for $175, they could come remove any snakes (if found) and put out a repellent compound to keep snakes away. Was assured that this repellent would be good for approx 3 months if not excessive rain...and that after putting out this repellent they have never had a call back from anyone saying that it didn’t work. In order to get some peace of mind, we decided to move forward. The technician/representative sprinkled a small amount of compound around the outside of the house but would not place any inside the house or attic (even though that’s what was requested since all of the snakes were seen inside the house). He also said he could not find any snakes to remove while there. About a week later we were back at the property to continue work and came across two more snakes in the house. As such we called the representative again who stated he could come back out for an additional $150 to place some compound inside the house this time. Highly recommend finding someone else who can back up their claims and not just trying to drain your wallet.

We had a major Bee Nest Problem. Turns out it was Three nest. The guys took care of it promptly. It is a second home, so we are very pleased with the attention our house was given.They are actually better than the pest service we use in our permanent home

I just wanted to share about a recent Termite Service I had done recently.My tech was extremely professional, punctual and articulate about his duties. I also have the pest control service and have had no issues about the Tech handling any issues I have had with pests over several years of doing business with the company. THE TERMITES WERE TREATED BUT TREATMENT WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. A YEAR LATER THEY RETREATED BUT THIS TIME DRILLED HOLES IN OUTSIDE WALL. I DONT KNOW YET IF THIS IS WORKING BUT THE HOLES THEY DRILLED ALLOWED WATER TO DRANE INTO THE FINISHED BASEMENT. I HAD TO HIGHER A CONTRACTOR TO DISCOVER THE SOURCE OF THE WATER INTRUSION AND REPAIR THE DAMAGE. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RECOVER MY COST OF REPAIRS FROM MCNEELY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM NOT HAPPY.

I ended up having to go to lowes and get my own spray to do the job inside and outside. They sprayed very little and nothing changed with anything.

About 4 year past I had an infestation of hornets and wasps on my deck and front covered porch. The hornets made a nest inside of a sided railing which was difficult to remove. McNeely killed the hornets with an application of chemicals. Since that time Ive had them return to use a preventative spray around my porch and rear deck. The spraying is every 90 days. The price is reasonable for the service provided. Ive not seen any pests since they began spraying

We have had this service for several years. So many less pest issues now. Reasonable quarterly rates, also they came and got rid of a white faced hornet nest that appeared rather quickly. Top notch.

The only good thing is our technician. We still have spiders. They spent more time trying to sell us more and more stuff. After our contract is up we will go with someone else.

They were treating a neighbors house and we had some issue with something so our neighbor asked the man that was their if he could stop by just to see if it was something worth calling in.He did and gave us the advice to call so someone trained in that area could come out. So we called and someone came within a week.The next day they came to treat our home and we have a year guarantee. They worked with us on a payments.We are now using them to come treat once a quarter outside and inside as a preventative feature.

The VOLES in my garden are gone because we are maintaining mouse bait in our crawl space. What an unexpected result. (I think we are near 18 months of service.) Very courteous and thorough. It works, carpet beetle larvae and silverfish nymphs are gone. They volunteered the coupon which was helpful.
