Food was good and plentiful. Was not expecting caviar, so I was not disappointed... average meats, great sides and salads. My trick with desserts is to drizzle hot fudge over everything. Was busy and server was already overworked but still provided great service. A great visit that made us all start looking for a nap right after. Good luck out there!

Without a doubt the food is fantastic. I highly recommend you eat here. There was nothing that was not cooked right. The kitchen staff are outstanding. 2 dinner buffets were about $30.00.

My favorite place to eat always got different food of your choice you can get anything from pizza to pork to fried chicken fish and shrimp enjoy it very much for my whole family

A classic buffet chain offering a variety of foods from barbeque to continental breakfast, speaking of the breakfast is delicious and is abundant.Dinner is always the highlight of the visit, starting at 5pm is when the all you can eat stake is on, very good cuts of beef, I mean its not a steak house but it gets the job done, the seasoning is very good and the addition of A1 stake sauce compliments the already well seasoned steak.Overall a very filling and delicious meal, the service is pretty much of what you would expect from a buffet.I definitely recommend it.

This has to be the best golden corral around. Last time I went, the crab salad didnt smell good or taste right. Very strong fish smell and definitely wasnt the same as it use to be. That really disappointed me. The crab salad is or was one of my favorites there. The chicken was real good.

The choice selection of the varity of foods was wonderful. I did a take out for 3 people who had varied taste. The vegetables were seasoned and delicious; not bland like it was dipped in hot water. I do suggest that attention to the supply of fried chicken to be readily available and more supply of wings and drumsticks be offered. Not everyone prefers breast and thighs. I also suggest that a cold salad mixture of cucumber/onions/tomatoes with a creamy dressing be offered. Check out staff should monitor the flow of those both coming and those having take out to eliminate back up and just one staff doing both. The availability of various sizes of takeout containers was really great and the lids fit tight.

On June 23rd this year my husband and I visited the Golden Corral in Winston - Salem NC for dinner. We paid for our dinner with a credit card but realized that we had no cash to leave a tip for our server so my husband went back up top the register and asked the female running the register is he could get $20 dollars back to leave a tip on the table(this transaction was paid for using a debit card). She obliged and gave him 20 dollar bill so that he could leave the tip. We did not think anything of it and finished our meal and headed home. The next day while checking the back account we discovered that instead of a $20 dollar charge on our bank account we had a $200 dollar charge on the account. As you can imagine we were very surprised to find this since there is no way that 2 people visiting a buffet restaurant could spend $200 dollars. We immediately contacted our bank to dispute the charge since obviously there was and error in typing or a happy employee that pocketed the remaining $180 dollars that we did not receive nor were we aware of at the time. Over a month later the bank has decided that somehow it was not an error on Golden Corrals part however I disagree as someone who had $180 dollars stolen from them from a restaurant. Unless we brought 6 of our closet friends we could not spend that much money at a Golden Corral. I feel like there has to be video footage etc. that somehow and extra $180 dollars made it into someones pocket or a till was magically over at the end of the night. Not that a loss of two peoples business matters to a large company but we will never step foot in a Golden Corral again and I feel that others should know that there is a chance that leaving this store might cost you more than the price of dinner. Please take note that this is not an example of a good business practice.

Ate at Golden Coral Buffet and Grill near Hanes Mall Winston Salem.Food was Hot and tasted scrumptious!!!! They Had steak, roast, pizza, spaghetti and sea food!!! My fav is the roast. You can cut it with a fork, it is so tender. Lots to chose from. Staff courteous and friendly. If you leave here hungry, it is your own fault.😁 Awesome family atmosphere. The staff was sanitizing tables between customers. There were hand sanitizes throughout the restaurant. There were even disposable gloves customers could use when obtaining food Andy putting it on your plated. Extremely impressed with this restaurant going above and beyond to keep customers safe. Other Golden Corrals I have eaten at recently, are not doing this. Above Average experience!!!!!

Worst experience ever! A family was nearby with extremely noisy, undisciplined kids. They were all ladies and one toddler was screaming so loud, everyone nearby was disgusted. She finally took it out. Their boy, about 3-4 years old was running around screaming and playing with food in his hands and the parent was talking and on her cell phone.I spoke to the server about this and she brought a manager over. I asked can he just gently ask for them to please control their kids. He said there is nothing he can do. I was floored. Meal was ruined.

Its always a pleasure coming here. We come maybe four times a month. Its a self-service buffet. Sometimes the waitress will not come around as often, but other than that they are really good.

Omelettes were flat and overcooked not fluffy. Pretty good variety of breakfast items and drinks. But No tomato, grape fruit or cranberry juice. Lunch items included burgers. No grilled steak was offered at this location until 4:00 pm.

Dined in.. Food variety choices were good but they didnt have any baked cinnamon apples, which by the way are pretty good. I tried the chilli and bourbon chicken with rice..was very tasty. The waitress was very nice she came by often to see if we needed anything.They also have hand sanitizer stations near the plates and gloves for the customer to put on before visiting the buffet.

Visiting from out of state. The fried chicken is still good. The food is not as good as it used to be. I feel the same way about all of them. Not just this one.

Absolutely nothing worse than taking a drink of 3 day old milk. Went back for a different one and there was 5 more cartons of old milk. No apology from management either. I expect the bare minimum of food/drinks not being spoiled. I’m pregnant and this made me almost throw up on the table. Please check dates before you put it out for customers to drink.

We recently went there for dinner and while we were eating we noticed a bug crawling on the seat part of our booth after looking at it closer it was a roach it went up under the seat before we could kill it. Definitely won’t be back. 🤢

One of our favorite places. For anyone who hasnt been there, its at least twice as big as the usual buffet place, with twice the offerings. The staff is super-accommodating. They keep the food turned over well and everything is always fresh. Like everything else, the price has increased throughout the years, but is still a bargain if you are really hungry. Go around 330pm, pay the lunch price and be there when theystart putting dinner menu out.

The staff was great food was mostly great. But the best part was having the availability to sit with my family and have brunch

It was packed in there for fathers day, line was extremely long and staff didnt seem to be doing much other than the waiters. The clean plate stack had a bunch of dirty plates in it as well. The highlight of the meal was the waiter who even with all those people managed to ask if we needed a refill multiple times. Unfortunately it was not worth 16.99 a person.

Hey guys so I was thinking.. you guys should change it up a bit. Do a carnival day with all carnival foods and desserts hot dogs, sausage with peppers and onions and a roll, hamburgers, corn dogs, street corn, deep fried Oreos, funnel cake, zeppolis, boardwalk fries in little buckets, you already have the cotton candy… do other fun things that are carnival foods, then the following week do a breakfast for dinner maybe a seafood night… charge a little more.. and something else different for the following but 1 day in the week each week.The Italian food should be more of a variety,chicken parm, eggplant parm for the non meat eaters, garlic bread, and at least some kinda Italian dessert.. the desserts are the same every week you guys really should change that up. I’m sure a lot of vegans wish they could eat all you can eats.. why isn’t there beyond meats available for them? I go to Golden Corral cause my little one loves the variety.

Ive always had good service and food here except this time. Servers were awful, food was not hot and fresh, on top of that we had to wait a good while for a table. I felt like it took longer than normal. Wish it was a better experience.

My experience here was very disappointing. We as a family eat at Golden Corral everywhere we travel. My steak was not cooked and cold and the guy at the grill never asked if he could help me with the steak he was cooking. When I explained to the other lady I wanted one cooked she could not speak English to understand what I was saying. The pizza was burnt. The food had either been sitting out a long time and so not worth the almost $30 they charged for two. The lady who gave us our plates did not speak a word of English when I asked for a dry plate as they were all soaking wet and so was my tray that I had to dry with paper towels. Will never eat here again!

Loud music - food selection was sad but what was there was warm and edible (some things need improvement on the seasoning) - staff behind the meat counter not very attentive (took 8 minutes of standing there waving at the glass to get anyones attention). Not a place I would regularly visit.

Went tonight and was very disappointed in the 106.00 price with old dried up food and ask for med- rare steak and get almost burnt.. You can tell the wedge salad was not fresh at all.... Then when I asked for a fresh wedge salad the woman handed me just the lettuce glad I know how to make my own.... Our waitress was amazing she earned herslef a 15 dollar tip

I came to Golden Corral 2 times and both times i had hair in my food talk with 3 manager and all 3 tell me ain’t nothing they can do because they wear hats

It was stupid that you had to wear gloves when getting food from the buffet. I could have reused my gloves many time transmitting what ever I picked up on the gloves. It would be better to have customers sanitize their hands each time they get food from the buffet.

We used to eat there once a month prior to Covid 19 protocols. I decided to see what changes they implemented and was pleasantly surprised. I didnt eat in, I chose food to go option and fixed our plates for supper. I felt safe consuming the food from the buffet bars. It was fresh and tasted like home cooked.I will return as a regular customer.

Despite Covid, popular restaurants such as Golden Corral always get full. Luckily, this restaurant had plenty of tables for me and my family. Food was good and warm, always plenty of food and nothing missing. Tables and condiments are cleaned properly before next customers take a seat. Waiters come around to take your plates when youre done and refill your drinks. Good service!

Very crowded waitress cleaned our table off before we finished eating trying to make room for more people

My experience was terrible. I dont understand how masks and gloves required to get your plate and food but when we are seated to eat we are sitting on top of one another. No closed tables. No spacing. Even when you call ahead for a large group. One person says the table will be ready and then its not.

Well... it’s a buffet. As far as buffet’s go though it’s pretty good. They keep it clean and with COVID they have a good system to keep you safe (if you feel the need to be out at a restaurant). Chocolate fountain is still functional, but they dip everything for you.
