I have used Gwyn for five years for my plumbing needs and am always very happy with their service. Their technicians are knowledgeable, helpful, fair, professional, responsive, and friendly. I am confident that I can rely upon them for quality service.

Brad from Gwyn came to my home on two separate occasions. The first was to unclog a drain and to check on some faucets that were leaking. He recommended replacing the faucets due to their age and also recommended a place to purchase good quality ones. On the second trip, he installed 3 faucets and also took out a part of a ceiling to check on an earlier leak. Brad was wonderful to work with. He was on time, very efficient, cleaned up after all the work and was very nice. He did a wonderful job, and I really appreciated the advice he provided as well as the great work. I will go back to Gwyn and ask for Brad again the next time I have plumbing needs.

The technicians were here for 2 complete days completing a dual unit heating and air system. They never stopped both days. They were professional, super polite and very efficient in their work. They picked up and cleaned up every area. Dustin spoke with us about all the necessary information we needed to know and the office called, on the second day, to schedule the follow up service installation check in 2 weeks. Never had a more responsive company that had 2 techs that could do it ALL in one complete visit!!! Absolutely refer them for ALL your plumbing, electrical and HVAC needs!!

My wife and I just bought our house 4 days ago. We are already experiencing plumbing problems. The renovators of our house sent out Brad from Gwyn and let me tell you, it was one of the most painless experiences I’ve ever had when dealing with a major home issue. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he was extremely friendly and he allowed me to tag along and watch everything he was doing and answer my questions. It felt like I’d known him my whole life. I pray that I never have to deal with these issues again (obviously that’s too good to be true) but when I need any home service, I will call these guys.

I was told the electricity needed to be turned off to install Surge Protector to the meter for Duke Energy. In this process also turned off my water heater which was gas & located in the attic. Given I am nearly 70yo & have two artificial knees & bad back they did not offer to relight this for me. After several days of no hot water I realized the problem & today had to climb the attic ladder to relight the water heater. I guess to me this should have been part of the service. Had been in the past with other utilities.UPDATE: The company said turning off the electricity should not have shut off the hot water heater. I guess the pilot just went out at that same time. I cant explain, but the company said they would have come out & relit for me so I appreciated the followup & revised my rating.

Dissatisfied - they did not return calls within a reasonable amount of time. First service technician supposedly solved the original problem (we dont know) but created a new problem in doing so. Second service technician resolved that problem, but we still have no clarification regarding the original problem. Waiting for a phone call from the person who actually knows. Theyve done good work in the past for us - off the mark on this issue.

Gwyn is great to work with, prompt, courteous, and efficient. They service my HVAC twice a year at a reasonable price and take good care of me. On the rare occasions I have had a problem with my heat or hot water heater they have responded quickly and got everything working again. Most of all, their service people are so polite and caring, I feel they really see me as a person and not just another customer.

Colin is wonderful and always answers any questions we have. We have the maintenance plan (twice per year) and Colin serviced our two air conditioners a few weeks ago. We noticed the compressor freezing up and we had water in our pan under the lower level air conditioner and he was over and fixed the problem the morning we called at no extra charge since we had maintenance performed a few weeks ago. (Our lower level air conditioner is older and the compressor freezing up has happened before.) I definitely recommend Gwyn and thanks very much Colin.Ashley

Came home from a week of vacation and found that ac unit was not working. Called Gwyn and they arrived in a reasonable timeframe. Dallas, the tech, identified the problem, made the repairs very quickly, and was nothing but professional. All in all we are very pleased.

I use only Gwyn for any plumbing, HVAC or electrical work. They do the job right and are very professional. You will not find them to be the least expensive, but you get what you pay for with them.UPDATE - I just had Gwyn do some wiring for towel warmer and install an outdoor security light/camera. My hot water heater had to have a knob replaced and the flame lowered. The knob had to be ordered. Technician Brian came to diagnose the problem and returned to install the new part. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I appreciate that he also suggested that I get a carbon monoxide detector. Previously, I used their electrical services. The technician was also professional, friendly and courteous. I am very pleased with Gwyn and Electrical Plumbing and will refer them to my “Neighbors” site.

Michael Krawiec and Gwyn were excellent every step of the way when we needed to replace three commercial HVAC units. Michael was extremely responsive and made sure that all my questions were answered clearly. Gwyn was also able to work in a tight timeframe and provided a very reasonable quote for the work. I had an urgent leak where the main water line meets the house. I called 4 plumbers and Gwyn fit me in right away! They were incredibly professional, reasonable, and honest. I will definitely call them again.

Firstly, based on our experience today I would recommend Gwyn to anyone in need of their services. The customer service was professional and courteous. When we called they were able toget a technician out today. From the time we called around 2pm, they had a technician out by 3pm. Mark was tremendously helpful and professional. He was very communicative and thorough in his inspection, also honest in his findings and reasonable with pricing. I feel satisfied with his work and would recommend him for any HVAC services or repairs. He is a great guy and I’m glad my buddy recommended them.

Once again this company is not what they say they are they come in and give you a higher price than what they said theyre estimate is and they play a lot of games they call the other company that left me in the cold for 2 months. My problem is why did they call the other company who left me in the cold which is K Heating and Air and why is it that they had felt the need not to tell me that they had called the other company the other company called me and said that I owe them a bill of 1300 they came here for times and did not fit this fix the heating system so I have no idea why this company felt the need to call the other company I no longer want these people in my house I will be calling News 2 on them and it seems like they were conspiring together to try to have me pay and they still havent fixed it the system the system upstairs is still the same way it was originally so I dont know what their deal is the only difference is Im getting to heat upstairs vs. Downstairs and thats how it was before and they said they fix some bypass and they gave me an that the other company had install the system! This company is lying! i also have a recording! Kay Heating &Air told me you called them! They gave the time and date. Now how she get that information. I never was rude to anyone until you have me a reason. So,Why The problem still the original? My job has sent You A Check? Lying

On Tuesday, December 29 I contacted Duke Energy Water Heater repair line because our water was no longer hot and their was water leaking from the tank. This water heater was installed by another Duke Energy Company (not Gwyn) and the tank didn’t outlast the Manufacture Warranty. Duke Energy sent the work order over to Gwyn Electrical Plumbing and told me I would hear from someone within 24hrs. I had to call Duke Energy several times due to their lack of priority and disregard for supplying customers with basic information. However, being that it was so close to a holiday I called Gwyn myself on Wednesday and explained our situation-leaky water heater, no hot water. Seth was dispatched to our home on Wednesday, two days before New Year’s Day. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. He was a gem and it meant everything. He was installing this water heater until 4:30pm on New Year’s Eve. We are forever grateful for the AMAZING service that Seth provided. Thank you!

Initially was to get estimate. The electrician made the estimate which I approved and then stated he could install “now.” I agreed and in one hour and 15 minutes a new outlet was installed in a practical/convenient place in a bedroom. Efficient, no mess remained, and now I can use a new outlet that was badly needed.

Quick professional and well informed. Asked about additional issues and possible costs for future repairs and replacements. Technician answered my questions and was very friendly. As it so happens I also had water leak in my yard repaired the same day by a different service technician. He was amazing. First he managed to find my 3/4 water supply line with a probe at the spot where it was leaking! Then in short order he had the repair completed and let me know my water meter was leaking on the city side so I could notify them. Extremely friendly as we chatted while he was completing the repair.

Had an amazing experience using Gwyn. They first came out to repair a split water pipe, they did a great job and recommended solutions to addressing future problems. After repairing the split pipe, I called them back to install a pressure reducing valve to address future problems. Their plumber was knowledgeable, down to earth, and great at his job. They replaced a shower stall drain to stop a leak under my house. The work took just a little over an hour. The price was acceptable and comes with a 90 day warranty. One of their competitors quoted me over $400 dollars more for the same repair. I will definitely use them again. Highly recommend

I cant really share a review as a customer but more as a deployed employees wife. This company is amazing! They did a fundraiser for our family so we could have a great Christmas. They sent my husband care packages while he was overseas. They even gave us gift cards for groceries. They are a very caring company that does a lot of great things for the community. They are a great company to work for! You wont get better service then from their techican Chester. Just a great company overall.
