Just returned here after my insurance switched. Trust me when I say how much I missed this place. Like they say, you dont know what you had until its gone. Shannon is simply the best hygienist EVER!

Super dissapointed in the service - front desk. My first appointment was the only time I felt good in their office. After that, my second and third time did not go so well. 3 different times after that I was treated a bit different from other patients. The first time I thought I was just being picky because I waited outside (cus of covid) for over 5 minutes while others that arrived after me we let in almost right away ( I was the only mexica). This happened over and over until today. I went in and again I am asked to wait outside - two others are let inn. I am asked for my screening questions, but my phone died so I had to do it all over again (front desk told me I had to wait for someone to bring me a form). I did, then a gentlemen comes to the door and he calls and tells them he didnt have his screening docs compelted either - but they ask his the questions verbally and allow him in! Yeap, once again. So I got upset and made a few comments asking why I am being treated differently and literally got no response. So I stopped and asked the front desk if she was able to hear me... She then tells me she is going to get some answers. After only waiting for 3 mintues I was very upset and walked to the front desk again. There was no one there, all of them were in a room gossiping about me (unless it was a meeting regarding the matter?) still didnt find that appropiate, 5 or 6 came out and I felt very uncomfortable. I decided it was team to leave, I told them I didnt want to be seen anymore. Another lady (must have been a manager) laughs when I ask her if I am being treated diffetenly becuase of my race! I told her this was not a joke! She said she and other employees are Mexican, so she found it funny that I would say that. Time to look for a new dentist!I changed my review from a 1 star to 3, becuase the dentist is awesome and so are the ladies that have cleaned my teeth!

After having part of a filling fall out at my old dentist Dr. Scott was able to fix it quickly and efficiently. Clean and new office with a nice staff. I also appreciated how Dr. Scott explained everything he was going to do prior to doing it.

Very efficient staff. This was my first appointment, the staff obtained my dental records from my previous dentist (I had moved from out of the area). They actually reviewed them before my appointment! The hygienist was gentle and thorough. The dentist reviewed her results and recommended we keep and eye on two teeth. I had expected a new dentist would recommend work that wasnt immediately necessary. I was very please when Dr. Scott has a reasonable approach

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their first appointment of the day is at 6:30 am which was perfect with my work schedule. The doctor took this time explaining what needed to be done and made me feel very comfortable. They accept care credit which made financing my procedures easy and affordable. I would highly recommend this practice and am excited that I have found a great practice locally for my dental needs!

My son really liked this office. The staff is very accommodating. My son wasnt ready to go in the backroom so they let him take his time until he is ready to go. Making an appointment is really easy as well. They work with your schedule.

I called this morning to ask for a payment history for my taxes. Devon asked me if I would like to be seen today instead of on Wednesday and scheduled me for 1:00 p.m. Dr.Scott evaluated my chipped front tooth, fixed it and I was out by 1:45. Professional and prompt. Thank-You for great service.

The staff was so friendly and the office was clean and comfortable and quick and the flat screen in the ceiling was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen at a dentist office. Dr.S was super gentle and informative and helped me create a care plan for the work I needed done and explained what the procedures meant and how I can prepare for them. No surprises. I’ll be back 😁

I have never had such a great dental experience as I have now. The dentist is very talented and the staff does everything possible to get you in immediately for an emergency, even if youre not a current patient. The hygienists run the show and they are fantastic. Barely any wait time and a ton of competence, not to mention good movies on the ceiling tvs!

Dr. Scott and his team do a great job. I have been coming here for years with no issues. Prompt, clean, friendly and nice TVs. If you are lucky the doctor might put on his Peter Frampton or Sade live concert while you get your teeth cleaned.. :)

I went to Dr. Scotts for an initial exam, and cleaning, and found the entire staff knowledgeable, and efficient. Cleaning was gentle, yet very thorough. Office atmosphere is welcoming and pristine.

I was more than happy with the care and attention given! I had a previous evaluation done with a different dentist and he told me that a root canal and crown was needed. Dr. Scott was honest and found a receding gum line was the cause of the pain. He saved me a ton of money!

My first visit to Dr. Scotts dental office and my first visit to a dentist in nine years. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Dr. Scott was very clear with me on what my dental issues were and what the solutions were that he recommended.

I never write reviews, but after the experience I had with Scott Family Dental I feel like I should. Ive never been to this office before and they were able to fit me in the next day. The staff was efficient, pleasant and very helpful. They took ex-rays, and before pictures for my insurance. They even made sure I liked the program on the tv above my head.When Dr. Scott came in he did a thorough exam of my broken tooth and the ex-rays. He explained all of my options and the benefits and drawbacks of each one. I decided on a filling, and he had enough time to do it right away.My whole appointment took just over an hour. My tooth was fixed and I made future appointments for wisdom teeth, a cleaning and Im trying to get my husband in. Thanks for making my visit a pleasant experience.

Very pleased with my experience as a new patient at Scott Dental. Dr.Lopez did my exam & Emily, a hygienist, did the most thorough cleaning I can recall ever having!

We drive from Bluelakes to Windsor to have our dental services provided. We enjoy the friendly atmosphere and how precise their timing is due to the distance we drive. I hate to do this. On every previous occasion, my service at Scott Family Dental has been excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend it based on those results. However, my most recent visit was a notable step down. The initial X-ray required a second run, the standard request to mention any discomfort was forgotten, the polish was interrupted halfway through so someone else could poke at my teeth again, and worst of all, the 1991 Martin Short comedy Pure Luck was playing on the TVs.I was unaware this film existed prior to today. Now, I have more trouble believing in the existence of hope or humor of any form.Still. Generally been good. Hope this was a one-off.Edit: Had five fillings. Fast, smooth, and reasonably priced. Pleased to raise my rating back four stars for a fine dentists office.

To be honest, I am terrified of going to the dentist. When I had to finally suck it up and make an appointment, I wanted to go someplace locally. I am very selective about medical/dental providers and research their reputations and reviews. I had already been to 2 dentists in my area -- one was very pricey, and one decided I was not worthy of being seen in his office and never once talked to me about anything. So I look up Scott Family Dental and decided to give it a try. Today I had my first treatment appointment and I was amazed. No pain at all with deep cleaning (of course my face is still numb but that I can deal with). The staff and hygienist are very caring and treated me with the utmost respect. No shaming me because I had not gone to a dentist for a while, even though I tried. I am paying out of pocket since my insurance does not cover anything really. Not sure why I have it! Dont get me started on that. Anyway, Scott Family Dentals charges are VERY reasonable in my opinion. I would recommend this office and Dr. Scott to anyone looking.

I received a very thorough cleaning and scan for oral cancer from the dental hygienist.I returned today to have a dual-surface filling on one of my bi-cuspids. I didnt feel the stick of the novocaine injection. The drilling and filling were handled painlessly and I left the office very satisfied.

I was greeted very professionally and asked how I would like to fill out the Dental paperwork by laptop or the old fashion way with paper. I opted for paper. I was then taken back for xrays. This was done very quickly and painlessly. Then Dr. Scott came in and introduced himself and he went over what he found and what the xrays showed. We discussed what the options were. I then had my teeth cleaned by Emily. She was great. Very professional, thorough, and gentle. Then lastly I headed to the final area that goes over your bill and schedules next appt. I was given all the info and options. I am going back!!!! I highly recommend Scott Family Dental. I will be spreading the word.....

I really didnt like the feel when I walked in office. The two receptionist were rather pouty no smiles no how was your day. For being the first person to be seen at your apt you would expect some smile or just a nicer greeting. The dental hygienist was great. Especially I had my 3 yr old with cause dad was stuck at fire house. Dr suggested I get a mouth guard and the lady up front would explain my options. Hygienist told her to give me info and walked away said goodbye. The lady to the left looking at counter was just not happy. She said when do you want an apt. I replied for what? She said well for your next apt. I said Id already done that. She then said ok bye. I replied could you give me info on mouth guards. She then said um ok. Ya $450 thats what you pay. Not really giving me any info sizing the process payment plans if insurance pays for any. Just $450 bye... Needless to say she put a bad taste in my mouth with her attitude. Got that vibe the first time I went there as well. Will be moving to a different place. I never complain. But sometimes it just has to be done.Angela
