I have nothing more than positive things to say about SC Rentals, especially Shirley who went above and beyond to help with any questions or concerns I had. For example, I had a missing Amazon package, so I sent an email to Shirley asking for help. Shirley sent out a mass email to the complex and the following day, a woman returned my package after seeing the email and noticing it was by her door. This is just one example showing how great Shirley is. I truly have no complaints that would deter me from living at an SC Rentals apartment again. Thank you!

If you take one thing from this review just save yourself the mess and don’t rent from this company, they are a nightmare, especially Shirley. I lived at 1030 Davidson Dr. in Fort Collins for a year and it progressively got worse. Shirley sends out multiple emails a week to everyone on site about very small issues that should be taken up with individual tenants (like smoking, someones dog barking etc). All interactions I had were extremely unprofessional and her emails never made sense - theyd be broken english, most words spelled incorrectly and no format so we never understood why we were getting them at all hours of the day and threatening to evict everyone.The property is managed by an HOA, but the buildings themselves are owned by SC Rentals. The buildings are disgusting and littered with trash/debris as well as unsafe and broken stairwells. Our windows never locked and we put in a service request only to be told by maintenance to “try harder” when locking them even though they couldn’t even get them to lock. I never felt safe here at any hour of the day, especially late nights when there were dumpster divers or people sleeping in their car in the parking lot.At one point I thought about renting from them in Windsor/Loveland after my FoCo lease was up. I emailed, reached out via the facebook ad and called for weeks before I finally got ahold of Brittany. She told me she would not give me a tour or give me any information since I was looking well before my current lease was up. I was always a respectful and quiet tenant, even leaving my unit spotless when I moved out and they still treated me poorly the entire time.Instead of taking the feedback they gets on recent google reviews, the owners gaslight tenants in their responses and air out private information.No matter what kind of tenant you are, you will be treated poorly by this company. They are unorganized, unprofessional and genuinely overpriced for what you get. It makes me sad to leave this type of review but I can tell this company is going down hill very fast and no one deserves to feel unsafe where they live.

I have had nothing but a good experience with this management company. From the beginning when I looked at the property. They have been completely honest and transparent the entire time. They have worked with us and answered all questions that we have had. It’s super nice when you find people that actually show respect towards others! That’s so hard to find anymore. They are very personable and just so very nice! Shirley is always so prompt at answering emails. We had some plumbing issues right when we moved in and right after I called her she had somebody out here to get it taken care of. If you are looking for a good property management company to work with, I wouldn’t hesitate choosing these guys again! If I could give more than five stars I would! They have made our whole move, which has been very stressful, so much easier. Kindness goes a long way, and they sure have a lot of that!

I had to move the washer dryer unit to get under it but couldnt hook the dryer vent back up myself. Joe from maintenance came out and did a great job hooking it back up. He was prompt, professional and considerate. Awesome guy. Awesome place.

My husband and I were looking for a home for us and our three dogs and we were having so much trouble. When we called SC Rentals they were so nice and got us looking at places the next day! If you’re looking for a quality management company who genuinely cares about their rentals and tenants, this is the company. Shirley helped my boyfriend and I find a place to live and we cannot express enough how pleasant and simple she made the entire process. I would absolutely recommend SC Rentals.

EDIT--Shirley the manager is an absolute nightmare to deal with. After writing my initial review posted below, she personally emailed me telling me to take it down. At that point, I knew they were going to screw us out of our security deposit. 3 FULL months later, I got 2/3 of my security deposit back. They charged us $50 to replace a plastic microwave HANDLE, and a $150 cleaning fee after we already deep cleaned the apartment and left is spotless. Do yourself a favor to keep your dignity, and do not live here under any circumstance. It may be affordable rent for fort collins and a descent location, but they will screw you out of money in other ways. Shirley needs to be let go from this company if they dont want to be sued from all past renters.I lived at 1030 Davidson Dr through SC rentals for 6 months. There is no management on site, so take that how you will. Lots of dumpster divers come and visit the dumpsters. Nice apartments, great appliances and everything seems new. They take 60 days to return your deposit, which just seems lazy to me. They also make you pick up and return your keys in windsor about a 40 minute drive away. There is constantly trash around the property and the yard workers just run it over on their machines and no management comes to check on anything. Dumpsters are constantly overflowing with people dumping whatever they want in there. The laundry unit also didn’t work in our apartment and I filled 2 service requests and they came and said it worked. It didn’t dry any clothes.

Great people to rent from. We started out in Bears Village as our income was low. The places look small but hold quite a bit. This was a great place for our family to help us get back on our feet. We decided to stay with this rental company and are now renting a town home which is wonderful as my family is getting bigger. Manage ment is friendly no matter where you live and they are great about getting information out.

The management team here is superb. I’m always able to get in contact with the the land lady (Shirley) and she is always very helpful and nice. The maintenance team is quick to respond and know what they are doing. Joe Pesina came out promptly from Greeley on a Friday evening to help take care of issues and I couldn’t be more happy with this place. Great apartments, Direct TV and WiFi included, cool neighbors and a location that is impossible to beat.

The renovated apartments are beautiful. When I started the process of moving in, I had no idea what I was doing or how best to go about moving to a new place. The manager helped me and and answered all me questions every step of the way. I had to move into the apartment fairly quick which rushed the renovation a little. I have lived in an apartment managed by SC Rentals and it has been a wonderful experience! Shirley is very professional and quick to respond to issues, concerns or maintenance requests. 1409 Elizabeth apartments are clean and the appliances have always worked great. The location is also wonderful for CSU students and right across from Transfort which will take you all around Fort Collins. I am sad to be moving but when I find myself in Fort Collins again I will not hesitate to sign another lease and work with SC Rentals and Shirley.

Work Orders took longer than expected, but thats not the service teams fault. Service team was helpful and courteous. One of the guys name was Joe. They were fantastic and a lot of help. The company seems to have lots of units, and the guys seem to be stretched pretty thin. Pleasant, professional experience with them, but it was a bummer that SC Rentals doesnt hire more like them!

The leasing office has been easy to work with for the past two years. No ridiculous fees or refusals to conduct maintenance. In fact, our electrical outlet was fixed by a gentleman named Joe yesterday, just one day after I called, and he was friendly, efficient and professional.

Brittany was great, she was incredibly professional during the tour of our new apartment. The building is nice, and the rental office was neat. I love the Madison Avenue building, the staff does a great job of keeping it clean. We appreciate all the help.

I ran into a maintenance man this morning. He was lowering the price on the washers and drivers. I asked him to look into a minor issue unrelated to his task. He finished his task and immediately investigated and solved my problem. Very friendly and accommodating.

SC rentals has been wonderful. Michael with maintenance is on top of everything and extremely polite and willing fix what ever problems you have within your apartment as soon as he can. Shelly makes sure to call 24 hours before coming in which is always nice because Ive had past landlords who would barge in whenever they wanted. Moving in was smooth compared to other apartment complexes, nice to have an elevator when moving to another floor.

Shirley is Amazing to work with! my husband and I needed to move out of state pretty quickly and were worried about what that would mean for us as renters.
