My son loves it here. Marking down a star because they need to do some equipment maintenance. Lots of mats and pads torn wide open... Sorry but its the price of doing business- buy some replacements instead of renting inflatables.
My daughter loves going to gymnastics. Gym-Ken has the best coaches and the kids are always doing and learning new things
Wonderful experience. The kids LOVED it.
Great fun and caring place for our 4 year old!
We are a Gym-Ken family. Our daughter is in the preschool program and our son will be starting in the next session. The staff is great, the activities are fun and the facility is clean. We love the large area above the gym so we can see our little girl in action. It is great to see the effort the staff puts in to each student to build their skills and make them feel special. We look forward to going every week!
We love that there are always different themes to keep the kids (and parents) interested and excited! Open gym is always so much fun and everyone on staff makes sure you feel welcome.
My 3 year old loves going to gymnastics on Saturday mornings! She is always excited to see what “jobs” she will be doing in class and never leaves class without a smile on her face!My son really enjoys Sunday afternoon ninja class. The coaches are encouraging, patient and are always involved in whatever activities they are doing!
My 3 year old daughter is in her second year at Gym-Ken and we couldnt be happier. The staff is excellent and Miss Jillian is wonderful with our daughter. Our daughter looks forward to going to class every week. So glad we found Gym-Ken!
My daughter has been going to gym ken for a couple years now. From the weekly classes, to birthday parties, and recently the summer program.... weve grown to love and rely on the staff here. All the teachers are sooo good with the kids! I look forward to many more years of growth with this gym and staff.
This is my daughters 2nd year at Gym Ken she has learned so much and thoroughly enjoys class! The staff is very friendly and kind makes you feel at home but is also very professional. There are multiple classes going on at a time which at first had me worried my daughter wouldn’t be able to focus but I was impressed to see how well organized the shared space was run and how great the staff was with keeping the girls focused and on task. We had tried other gymnastic schools in the past where it felt like more play then taking away technique. I would highly recommend Gym-Ken to anyone!
My 5 year old and 2 year old both attend gymken and love it! Great staff.
Great place for the kids. Just needs a good cleaning.
Great place for kids gymnastics classes and birthday parties.
Edit - As much as I hate to have to do this, I need to change my review. My family has gone from taking 5 classes a week at Gym-Ken to leaving entirely. The new owner is ridiculously unprofessional. I can no longer feel that my children are safe there, physically or emotionally. I still think there are some great coaches at the facility, but the rude, condescending, over-emotional emails sent out have been atrocious. Follow that up with an even less professional phone call from the owner, and cap it off with my 4-year-old needing two bandaids and an ice pack at her last parents night out and not a word about it being said to me? Were done with the place. I have gone from being a staunch supporter of the business, actively advocating it to all of my acquaintances, to pulling all my business and my support from the place. - End EditMy son started taking Ninja Warrior Classes at Gym-Ken last October. He loved it immediately. Within just a couple classes of a new student joining, the coaches know the students personality, whether they need a firm hand or more gentle encouragement, and just how to help them achieve their best.My daughter soon joined a preschool tumbling class and has loved her time there. The kids did swim lessons over the summer and really grew their skills. This summer, when my son was moved up from Ninja Warrior to Parkour class, I found out that adults could join the Parkour classes and I joyfully did so. It is the best time of my week. I dont want girls night out; I want Parkour class. The coaches are endlessly supportive of me, helping me work around my physical limitations while still striving to improve my skills. When I manage to achieve a skill that Ive been working on for months, it is applauded just as much as anyone else even if the skills theyve achieved are things Im not even starting to try to do yet.
I️ was so excited to find a place where I️ could take my 14 month old daughter. She lovessss it! The classes are fun, Ms Jen is amazing, as well as the rest of the staff and my daughter, Neena, has learned so much! It’s affordable, it’s fun and we look forward to going every Weds morning. We’re already in our 2nd season. Watching Neena with the other kids having a great time is my favorite! I️ highly recommend this place! Xo
My 4 year old took gymnastics lessons here for about 6 months. Basically they do circuits on the equipment in the gym - climbing walls, swinging on a rope into a styrofoam ball pit, jumping in different ways through obstacles, tumbling over things in specified ways, etc. Theres a great place to watch from above, and ample space for siblings to play while waiting. They did a very good job changing the equipment every week. At the end of every class they give your kid a pack of Smartees (-1 star). 3 of the parents in my group complained about junk food as the reward for exercise, but they didnt seem to care. When my daughter and another decided to stop (we were just switching to swimming lessons instead to get ready for summertime), the instructor had both of them severe crying fits, because they wouldnt get to do the recital and get a trophy. The Spring session has 1 class at the end for this. I find it inappropriate for them to sell directly to my kid, instead of me, and I am sick of everyone giving my kid candy all the time! The classes themselves were great.
Awesome Gymnastics instructors.
