Red headed lady, who was behind glass, wouldnt touch a FedEx envelope I was trying to hand her or even look at label. I was simply trying to confirm package would go out today. If the fear of covid makes it not possible for her to help customers she should be reassigned
If I could give zero stars.. I would…!!!!The driver said he made a second attempt (the first day it was available for delivery, because the package was in San Antonio, Tx the night before) and didn’t knock on the door or anything, just walked up the driveway and put a tag on the door. At the time he said he was there (scanned the package), I was sitting in my driveway watching the kids play in the yard and talking w/ my husband. I had been there for 15 minutes prior and remained there for 15 minutes after. Then my husband and kids were still outside for another 30-45 minutes. Once inside, they were right near the door. Fwd: to today, I had been on the phone all day w/ FedEx because this was my work computer I was waiting for. No one could seem to get in touch w/ the hub to contact anyone.. NOTHING!! I heard a CRASH in my driveway and ran out to see the FedEx truck had hit my drive/ his back bumper and never got out of the truck, but leaned out to see what he had hit. When I yelled down the driveway (25/30ft from my doorsteps) that I was there and started to walk down the driveway, he put the truck in gear, spit rocks and “hauled freight” out my driveway and down the street so fast that by the time I got to the end of my driveway, he was so far down the street that I couldn’t even see him. I finally contacted someone that cared about their customers, named Yevette (in Philadelphia), who contacted the hub and she called me back to say that they were making him come back.. WHO DOES THIS!!! FedEx of Winchester, VA .. that’s who… I don’t even live in Winchester. I live an hour + away.. (so not sure why it was sent to that hub)… But I do know that the management and the drivers at that center are NOT TO DO THEIR JOB…!!!!
My package was supposed to be delivered on a Friday. Website said it was delivered Saturday. I looked outside for it & checked my security footage. No FedEx was delivered! A neighbor I DONT EVEN KNOW ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STREET THAN ME brought it to me on Sunday! I would give you ZERO stars if I could!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! THAT DRIVER SHOULD BE FIRED!
Im so tired of the driver being too lazy to drop my package off at my house. Its like they choose to ignore deliveries to Front Royal.I have an important item that was to be delivered today but thanks to Winchester FedEx, its delayed. Just like every other delivery and they rarely ever deliver my packages up to my door. They deliver it to the wrong house all the time.
Client sent important overnight mail from Arlington to Winchester. Sent me text photo of the mail receipt because matter is urgent. Fedex couldnt deliver it. They lied and said there was no zip code. The zip code was there on the image of the receipt! Then later, they lied and said the failure was due to bad address. They said because we spelled out the number rather than use a #, they couldnt figure out address. Weve had address since 1980s & get mail & packages every day. For two days they made excuses. The very first day of failed attempt, a clerk from FEDEX called to ask about the building. The guy had apparently been out and couldnt figure out how to deliver to us so just took package somewhere else & had office call. I explained to her exactly where he should go (which is on any google map or map quest map) She didnt seem to even really be listening. Im not sure why she called because she did not follow up with the info and delivery. Then later that day, spoke with someone else who started the same old lies about no zip code. They were telling the client another story. They assured us it would be here by 8 PM (Important legal documents). Next day, circus replay started again. No zip code, address unclear, etc. Their clerks do nothing to help by phone and apparently no one reads the notes they take if they take notes.Try to log in to website and use help us find your address for delivery instructions and theres a min. # of characters you can use so its completely useless and they dont use the info anyway. But after I went ahead & created an account to track the packet, making sure there WAS a zip code someone w/Fedex logged into my account and took the Zip code OUT!! I kid you not! They were determined to stick with the lie about the lack of a zip code. They are the most incompetent, deceitful company I have ever dealt with. I tell anyone who is planning to send anything NOT to use Fedex. Unfortunately, this person had already sent it when they showed me their receipt so it was too late to change it. Ive had no problems with UPS or USPS. Bottom line recommendation: Dont use Fedex!
Totally helpful and all about getting your package out the door to its destination as soon as possible. I needed a padded envelope and the person behind the counter pointed out that I could use a free one when I had already picked up a reasonably priced one: she saved me a bit and earned an even better review.
Our packages sat on the FedEx truck for over 3 days. Each day tracking information stated the items would be delivered that day. Not true as it was not “out for delivery”. Other areas in the shipment process were fine and shipped within a day. As soon as it reached the Winchester FedEx it sat for days on end. Do not use!! Use UPS or USPS.
Have an email with a QR code that is from FedEx. This location and others will not accept the QR code. I have drove an hour to different FedEx locations to get this package returned. I am thoroughly disappointed in FedEx and its customer service. Even though the email states not to return to Wal-Mart this is where I was directed to drop package off. So you follow directions to the T and its wrong costing me valuable time and money!
Driver did no attempt to deliver package... Had to drive 20 minutes to and from FedEx to get a package that should have been delivered to my door.When I told the customer service agent behind the counter that I didnt think the drive had attempted to deliver this, she answered without a hesitation that he had, and that their drivers could not stop to call residents.Clearly shes heard a thousand times that their drivers hadnt attempted to deliver packages, and it is their policy to not deliver packages that they think they can get away with not delivering.
Driver stopped in front of my house, rooted around the truck for 5 minutes then left, 6 hours later my tracking reported that customer wasnt available to receive.
The woman that I spoke with at the printing center was very helpful but no one answered the phone at the customer service center. The package that I had been waiting on was a gift and the driver left it on the ground beside one of the vehicles at my house instead of leaving it on the front porch! The drivers for FedEx are very rude and condescending when you speak to them. UPS drivers are way more polite and they don’t leave your packages in the wide open for someone to steal or to get damaged by the weather!!!!

This isnt about Fedex in general but about this location. I went to ship an item and requested a receipt as it is required by many retailers as proof of shipping but the woman there adamantly refused and said NO, if you want you take a picture.Very rude. My first such experience. Id better off with UPS.

Had a phone shipped to a store to be fixed. Phone went in with no cracks, no cuts, no dents, no damage at all except the screen wouldn’t turn on and I still don’t know why. The phone place calls and says there’s a crack on the screen. WHAT THE HELL. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE LIKE THAT AT ALL
The woman who “helped” me, was SO incredibly rude. I entered without a mask; to which, she, in the rudest manner possible, asked me to go get one. So I did— without complaint! When I returned, she was just as disrespectful. Staff is in desperate need of training, in regards to customer service. I was shipping a cracked phone back to Apple.... which, was already drafted from my account for $1400. I explained this and asked for a receipt, to which, I was given an attitude, eye rolling, and the explanation “most people just take a picture of the package.” I said, “uhhh... that’s great... but I need a receipt as stated in my return instructions from Apple.” She did it.... reluctantly. ATTITUDE PROBLEM x100000. Awful, awful customer service. I will never return to this location.
Just got notice nobody was home at 6:30pm when everyone was home! Didnt knock or ring doorbell or we would have heard it. We checked and no note said we missed you. So they must have figured it was to close to getting off work so marked it has no one home. What BS!! This is why I use UPS!!

Tried this place again after avoiding it for 6 months. Took a few boxes in to ship and the counter agent says, we do not ship at this location. You have to go to Walmart for that What?!?! Why do you call yourselves a ship center, then?

The staff is amazing. As an independent Notary Signing Agent, Im there 2-4 times a week and it feels like family. And I have known our local drivers for years. They bend over backwards, making sure packages are left safely if they dont require a signature. I cannot speak more highly of this team of people.

Staff at the FedEx shop center are always kind, helpful, and experts in their field. Before my wife opened her own business and started shipping regularly, I did not appreciate the complexity of moving packages across the country. Now, we only trust FedEx to move her extremely fragile cargo. The staff at the Winchester ship center have treated us with respect every time we walked through the door, and have offered great advice to a first-time business owner.

I stayed home all day to make sure I was available to receive my package instead of leaving my signature on the door tag. I got another door tag and called customer service. I explained that I didnt feel comfortable having a package sitting outside my door being so close to Christmas and told the guy that all the delivery person had to do was ring my doorbell. He suggested I write a note specifying to ring the doorbell., but couldnt give a delivery time other than before 8PM.
Excuse after excuse after excuse. Why send me a email 2 separate days that my package will be delivered only to get a excuse at the end of both days to tell me you all have carrier issues??? Maybe you should hire or fire some of your carriers and get new management because theres some serious issues going on over there.

Had a shipment to be delivered on Fathers Day. The driver reported that the business was CLOSED while trying to deliver. This package was never going to a business and my parents were home the entire time. The second attempt for deliver resulted in the same result: undeliverable due to closed business. My parents were home the entire day and they called 15 minutes after notification of undeliverable. Im beyond angry that this has been the result two times in a row, especially when both times the recipients were home during delivery time. This has happened several other times within the same month and this is totally unacceptable.

I was here trying to ship two small vials of ethanol from my research to UVA. They refused to ship it at all. USPS wouldnt ship it express, but still were willing to ship it ground. The employees at USPS are more helpful than the FedEx employees.

Every time this office delivers my package they mess it up. They have dropped it off and then had me drive to Winchester (40+ minutes away). Today they reported no one home even though they didn’t ring the door bell - two big, protective dogs and my fiancé both would’ve heard it.

Family paid Extra to overnight me a small light package containing my needed medication from NJ to Virginia cost was $44 with a promised delivery by noon. I called FedEx at 1:30 pm and was told it was routed incorrectly and would be delivered sometime on Monday. Needless to say I pushed for answers on where my package was located right now. Was told it was at the Fed-Ex in Winchester Virginia, I had to drive a total of 208 miles R/T a fun 3 hour drive especially at dusk with drizzling rain for the 90 min return to my home in Staunton. It was 2 hands on the wheel the entire way on Route 81 South with all the tracker trailers going 80 plus miles a hour. I was told to put in a claim to try and get my $44 returned. There were no weather issues involved in me not receiving the delivery as promised. I will update if and when the money is returned.

Had a hard time finding it even with GPS & ended up in a nearby parking lot and just happened to notice Fed Ex trucks parked behind a building one street over. I had to drive from Capon Bridge to pick up a package I was eagerly anticipating the day before, but the driver wasnt able to find my address (I was told it was a substitute driver so that explains somewhat, but knowing rural WV had recent changes/confusing issues relating to addresses... I had been on the phone for 2 days leaving my landline and directions & was told they couldnt just have the driver call me BY POLICY- so inevitably it caused massive inconvenience. Still, not sure its the Fed Ex Ship Centers fault).I was there on a snowy Saturday morning so glad to find it open and the young woman at the counter was extremely helpful and quickly found my package and explained the driver issues and reason they couldnt deliver it on time. The sign should be more obvious from the road. All in all, a good experience with this place and employees.

They don’t print shipping labels at this location which was really inconvenient. I was emailed a FedEx return shipping label to be printed at FedEx, but the clerk tells me we don’t do that here (despite being a shipping center?) and tells me to go to “the old Kinko’s.” As if I’d know what that was. I ask if it’s in Winchester and she says no and that she’s not sure what city/town it’s in. So... I guess I’m supposed to research closed down kinkos in the great state of VA.Worse, I needed a large shipping envelope for my shipment but didn’t know what kind to get, the clerk said it depends on whether I’m shipping ground or air, and I said I don’t know it doesn’t say on my shipping label (the one on my phone that they won’t print) and asked if she could tell me and she recoiled and said “I don’t know how to read that!” What use are you then? I just took a guess that it would be ground and bought the corresponding envelope. While I was checking out another customer comes in with a stack of packages and said she also needs to have a shipping label printed. The clerk literally “ho ho ho’d” at the “coincidence” that 2 customers in her store at the same time were silly enough to think a FedEx shipping center would print shipping labels. We both just looked at each other in silent knowing of the needless inconvenience. 4 stars for location, useless staff and services get zero stars.

When the driver lies and claims no one is at office to receive package, when in fact they are. All because he want to get home on a Friday and then the same ass tries to deliver to a closed office on a Saturday. Seeing as how I live in a condo and the morons keep calling it a leasing office. I pay for home delivery and my condo is my home! Now I have to wait till Tuesday.
