A great gym with a great group of instructors and people. Everyone is willing to work with you to make you better. There is a wide variety of experience so plenty of partners to roll with and learn from. Wide variety of class times! Both my girls go here as well and the instructors are extremely patient with the kids, while they teach, heck even the head black belt comes and rolls with the kids. They have a free two week trial so there really isn’t any pressure. You won’t be disappointed!

This Gym is not just a BJJ gym it’s a second family. If you’re look for a great gym, great training partners, and high level instruction, go check them out!!

I have been training martial arts for over 15 years and there is not a better place to go. Whether you been training a long time or just starting, this the perfect place. A very friendly atmosphere that is conducive for learning. They have the areas only legitimate black belt instructor. I would give it more stars if it was possible.

What an amazing group of guys & girls! No matter what your reason to try Jiu Jitsu is they offer it all and if you’ve got young children then this is where they need to be! The schedule here is a so accommodating so if you can’t make those evenings class then make the morning classes to get your day started with a lot less stress! Shark Pit has been fantastic. I went in with goals of being more active and losing some weight, and everyone has been super positive and helpful. From coaching in different moves to merely providing a huge amount of support. It feels like a family. You should give it a shot if you’re looking for somewhere to learn a great skill and get more active.

A visit to Shark Pit is like going to a family function and seeing all your favorite cousins. The vibe is always warm and welcoming. Joe is an incredible coach and the rest of the teaching staff is top notch. Their meme game is QUALITY. Easily one of my favorite spots for Murder Yoga.

I have cross trained with members of Shark Pit multiple times whether at my school or theirs. I have also been coached by their head instructor in competition. They are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The facility is very clean and as an added bonus they have access to a great changing area/locker room.

I literally picked up doing martial arts again after a 3 year break just to go here. The instructors are amazing. Very laid back and friendly. You wont find anyone yelling in your face or getting mad at you for not learning something quick enough. They focus on you learning not just the technique but the reasoning behind them. If you want to learn this is the place.

Shark Pit Jiu Jitsu has a great group of people. The level of grappling is incredible and the instruction is something special. The members like to work hard and have fun. If you were ever interested in BJJ and prefer a lighter environment, where no one takes themself too seriously, but still strives to improve, then come in and fly with the Sharks! My kids loved it here!!! So much so we drove 35-40 minutes three times a week for them to train until wrestling season started. I can’t say enough great about Will, Rochelle, & Brandon.

I can’t begin to say enough good things about this program and these coaches. My daughter has grown so much in just the year of training with them. I can’t say enough good things about SharkPit BJJ. From the moment you step through the door the instructors and classmates are welcoming and try to help you attain your grapplings goals. Daily there is a mat room full of studs that’s only goal is to continue to get better at bjj and to help anyone from an advanced student to the brand new guy/girl get better at Jiu Jitsu. This place has such a friendly atmosphere and the coaches are extremely knowledgeable. My children love their classes - they stay active while learning valuable skills and making new friends. My husband and I both do the adult classes and I couldnt imagine ever finding better coaches. They always make me feel comfortable and like a genuine part of their team. Their instruction is easy to follow and they make sure to provide additional help as needed. The support is amazing from both coaches and teammates. Everyone feels like a family, whether youve been training with them for years or whether you just started last week. I am a kid student at Shark Pit BJJ. Ive been training with the people at Shark Pit for about a year and a half now, and made a lot of new friends and learned a lot more jiu jitsu than I have before. If you wanna learn effective, and fun jiu jitsu skills, this is the place to go.
