I went there for a retirement party recently. The folks were super kind and the food was great! The atmosphere was good. Its an older building but fairly well-kept. The pleasant attitudes more than make up for any building deficiencies. Would recommend.
Was told I was too woke by Jimmy, whatever that may mean. Hopefully others enjoy!
Golf course review:The course is in very very rough condition. I have never seen a course with so many areas with no grass in the fairways and greens. Balding patches on all the greens and fairways. The greens are bumpy and rough. Cart paths need to be repaved. Golf cart was dirty, even had a big spider web in it.They Definitely charge too much to play this course. Also, dress code is not enforced. Many were in t shirts. This could be a beautiful course if they would work on improving it
Nice place. Madison taught my granddaughter swimming lessons. She is Awesome.
They say you can walk on. They dont take tee times. They have big groups that they cater to. Then there are no golf carts for the walk ONS. So you really cant play there
If I could leave 0 stars I would! My car was recently broken into in the parking lot while I was here with my three children. There are no cameras and there is no check in at the pool so therefore we have no idea who came in and took my keys in order to access my van. After discussing how unsafe I felt and requesting a refund for the summer, Jimmy and his wife determined this was no cause for a refund. I was met with ‘my phone was stolen out of my truck a few years ago but I feel perfectly safe’. This is not somewhere I will ever spend money again and would encourage you to look elsewhere for your pool time fun. Also to add, after joining and having questions answered regarding pool times, guests and snacks there was a letter sent out saying the opposite of what my family and several others were told. It feels as though they will tell you what you want to hear and then change the rules after your family has joined.
There’s a lot to say about this course and I aim to give an accurate review for any golfers looking to come to this course, they have some holes I really enjoyed but you can tell how poorly kept the course is with the destroyed cart path and patchy greens. I came with one of my close friends who is a man of color and he felt like he had eyes glued on his back. I wouldn’t recommend coming if you’re just starting golf as I felt as if I was being judged harshly by some of the members and even the pro. Over all I’d say I like the course even though it does need some improvements. I recommend a change in the mentality of the management and staff. I had fun playing with my friends but the workers their made me not want to go back.
No security or cameras, anyone can come in go through your things. I’ve heard of several people having their car broken into in the parking lot. They also change their policies seeming on a whim. I wouldn’t recommend even if they paid you to use their facility.
It was really nice cant wait for the pool to open Memorial day weekend
Enjoyed a great round of golf here. Highly recommend.
Me and my family are new members, and as soon as you walked in, you felt welcome. This isnt your stereotypical country club where all the rich snobs hang. People here are very kind. The club has a snack bar, a pro shop, a golf course, and my favorite. The pool. You can get more details once you join! Maybe Ill see you there! 😊👌🏼
My cousin and I have been playing around the Wayne, Johnston, and Wake County areas for many yrs. Lately, we have thought about finding one to call our home course and Willow Springs Country Club is exactly what we are looking for in a home club. The atmosphere is friendly and it has a classic feel to it that is very inviting. The fairways are in incredible shape and the greens are serviceable to say the least. It is a tight course that requires some shot-making, but not too difficult for higher handicappers to enjoy. All in all, it has become our favorite course in the 3 County area to play often!
Golf review only. Pro shop staff were rude. Greens were incredibly bumpy and weren’t green at all. Cart path was basically off roading. Golf carts were littered with trash and had nothing been sanitized.
Great course!
Not in good shape, I know its winter
Reasonable rates buys theres nothing challenging about it. Pretty much every hole is straight down the fairway. Excellent service I might add.
The facility was very nice! Im a stickler about bathrooms. The ladies lounge area was very nice; however, the actual bathrooms need some updating. Im a senior citizen in pretty good physical shape but toilet seats are too low! Other wise a nice place!
We had our wedding here on the 1st tee. Great experience. Great service. The owners are very easy to work with. Lots of history here too!
My cousins and I enjoyed the round of golf. The green fees were perfect and vowed to return each time we are in town...
The staff is awesome and kind. The students from Sallie B. Howard school enjoyed themselves as always.
Good course for the price
Nice country coarse. Great people
Fun course. Well maintained. Staff in the clubhouse were friendly and informative.
Pool, Golf, Snack Bar, you can host your own party, 5 bucks to bring a friend, but you can only bring them 3 times.
Nice staff, we attended a wedding.
Had not play there in 3 years, I thought it was in good shape. had a great time!!
Older place on golf course. Was here for wedfing reception. Food and service very good
Lived there a long time ago and loved it
Small but nice course!
Par 4 too long, greens bumpy and too small
Decent course
