The service was very good. I did not have to wait for them to work on my car; only there for an hour to have the oil changed. I really like being able to make an appointment, instead of having to go in and wait. It is really convenient.

I’m from Wilmington so I’m relatively new to the area. Medlin Mazda surpassed any service that I have ever received. They were thorough and explained all my options prior to receiving any service. Scheduling was quicker than any of the North Raleigh Dealerships. I will go nowhere else.

If Im to take a portion of my Saturday morning getting a service maintenance, I realized this past Saturday that Medlin is the place to do it. Scheduled on-line, appointment was in tact when I arrived, wasted no time getting me in and out, and while waiting, had access to very clean and comfortable wait area, variety of refreshments, and plenty of room for my 8 year old to play and watch TV. This first-time experience with Medlins maintenance has prompted me to take my second vehicle there for its service as opposed to taking it to the long-time shop Ive used for several years.
My husband and I were extremely pleased with the buying experience at Medlin Mazda. EJ, our salesperson, was professional, courteous, very friendly, and answered all of our questions. We found the rest of the staff to be very friendly and helpful as well. We never felt pressured or intimidated and will look to Medlin Mazda for future vehicle needs.
CJ was our representative when it was time to test drive a car. The thing I liked most from the start was we could browse selections without someone flocking to us. When we were ready, we went inside and CJ asked if we needed assistance. We told him that we were interested in a CX9. His knowledge of vehicles was superb, he wasnt pushy, and we closed on a deal. My daughter now has an excellent vehicle for her and my grandchildren.

As soon as my husband and I entered the lot, Christian was there to greet us. The whole experience was very low pressure, which is just what we needed and were looking for. Without any questions, I was able to take the two cars for a test drive without Christian coming with us. He was a very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful salesman, staying past hours to sell us our car. Michael, our financial manager, was wise, honest, and patient with us. Both Christian and Michael were very personable. Both took care of our needs and were professional, even though it was a busy day and they were low on staff. To top it all off, I got a beautiful used sports car with very low mileage and a great price. I love my car and enjoy driving it every day. We live in Durham, and it was definitely worth the drive to work with this professional staff and get my beautiful car.

By far the WORST customer service we have experienced while purchasing a vehicle. The biggest concerns revolve around the finance team and lack of organization. We had issues ranging from paperwork being filed improperly, paperwork missing print, in addition to ongoing problems with the finance department. Double check Karen (Finance) and Jonathon (sales representative) if you decide to do business with Medlin and I highly recommend making copies/ taking photographs of everything! Do not count on general management to rectify any problematic internal affairs. We would not recommend Medlin GMC to any friends, family, or even strangers.

I went to have my oil changed and tires rotated on Saturday 1/23/21 and my whole driver side the lug nuts were loose. I had to pull on the side of the road and call somebody for help because my tires were about to fall off.
I started my interest into my 2016 Miata from my hospital room. AJ Hufton handled the paperwork and communications graciously. I got out of the hospital Tuesday and was driving my Miata home at 3 pm. This is my fifth purchase from Medlin Motors (two GMC trucks and two Miatas).The biggest selling point is the service department and Medlins is excellent.
Mike in the service department was awesome. I was expecting a lot of work that needed to be done to my car being that it’s a 2017 with 88,000 miles but all he said I needed was a coolant flush. When my car was finished they cleaned it and got all the bugs off. I can’t wait to return for the coolant flush next week, and I can’t wait to get to the point where I need to upgrade my CX-9 and wife’s CX-5 . I’ll definitely return to medlin in the future. We just purchased a new Mazda CX-9. We had done our research, knew exactly what we wanted and found the best deal at Medlin. Marshall had the vehicle we were coming to look at ready to roll for a test drive, and was able to answer any questions we had. As expected, we were offered all kinds of extended warranties, but felt no pressure to purchase and received no push back when we declined. We walked away feeling good about the purchase.

Came here to replace lost keys on my 2015 Mazda. Mazda requires two keys to be programmed but Medlin had only one in stock. They were kind enough to get the second key from another dealership about 30 miles away. Everyone here was extremely polite and helpful, figured out a solution for the problem so that it would be the least trouble for me. 7/13/2018I received a call from Medlin Mazda today. My trust in them at this moment has been further tarnished from them only now making my husband and I aware of the used transmission they placed in our vehicle in May 2017 when we bought it from them in June/July 2017. We were not made aware of this replacement in the vehicle. They went back to see if their replaced transmission had any warranty on it and called me back to only tell me that it was a 12,000 mile warranty that no longer applies. I wish I could leave a good review, because there are so many good ones for this dealership (thus the reason why we trusted them and bought our vehicle). All I feel at this point is taken advantage of and being thrown to the side as if our vehicles issues are none of their concern.7/12/2018Had a great customer service representative, but after 1 year of owning the vehicle we bought from them we have had #1 & #2 cylinders replaced. We were advised that due to them going out in this order, we would probably have more go out on us in the future. Also, the vehicle broke down on us while we were 1.5 hours away from our home with our 8 month old baby. It wouldnt switch gears, rpm wouldnt drop down from a 4 or 5, and then it wouldnt even start back up once we turned it off at the mechanics. We are now being told its probably the transmission. All of this, and we still owe $4000 on this vehicle. Very Displeased!

Last winter, I had serious transmission woes with a 2010 Mazda 3 while en route from New England to Florida. My usual dealer had twice botched the repair. In desperation, I called Medlin simply because it was close to I-95. They invited me to bring the car in at once. In less than two hours their mechanic found the unusual problem, fixed it and I was on my way south. Fine, fast work, fair prices, and really nice, trustworthy people who treated a transient snowbird like a valued local customer.

I purchased a used 2014 Mazda CX-5 and the process was very smooth and easy. I never met him in person, but Ben was friendly and helpful over the phone and via email. They delivered the car to me in Northern Virginia, and Ive had it for about a week, and so far I love it. They put new tires on, and they did a great job fixing up a few scratches. I would recommend this dealership.

I’ve had my car for about 3 weeks now and wanted to share the wonderful experience I had when purchasing my first vehicle at Medlin. I found my 2014 Mazda CX-5 listed on Autotrader but wasn’t able to come to the dealership until later the following week. Medlin agreed to hold it for me until I could come and when I got there Karen had it pulled out front reserved for me to look at and test drive. The entire paperwork process took about an hour which was shorter and easier than I expected. Medlin created a great experience for buying my first car and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
