The services provided to low income and senior citizens are awful. The tax preparation process did not take into account seniors who did not have transportation. Give the pandemic, they should have offered electronic signatures with a password. The customer service is poor and it is difficult to get a response to questions. Services like this only take advantage of what they can gain from it and forget they are serving the most vulnerable. It is shameful how Nehemiah is continuing poorly runned services. Another competitive organization is needed to offer better and attentive services.
Never had a bad experience til this yr.. most volunteers was not well prepared/trained and greeter was way rude! also the gentlemen that helped file them wasnt very helpful was rude to another lady at the site didnt seem to now how to hold his thoughts. I know they volunteers but rudeness no way to go..!
When to Route 9 library to get my taxes done I been going allowing NGC to do my return for years, I was a little over the women who checks after the preparer was rude and turned me away I’ve never had this issue when I went the Church on 8th street or Neighborhood house in the last 8 yrs.
Just not sure
