I took our kitchen knives we neglected for 10 years here and they did a fantastic job getting them back to what they should be. Some had serious edge/tip damage and now they look like they did when we purchased them and seem to be even sharper. Friendly and quick turn around. I’ll be going back routinely to keep our knives good and sharp.

This review is overdue! I had Riptide sharpen two knives (one of them being a $120 chef knife) and my lawn mower blade for me a few months back. Not only did they do an excellent job getting everything super sharp, Denise also explains the process they go through for each knife, and gave me tips on keeping things sharp for as long as possible. She explained the special process that they had to go through to sharpen my many-layered Japanese steel knife without potentially causing any damage. Prices were very reasonable. Denise took all necessary Covid precautions as you can drop everything off outside and discuss options with her when you arrive. Cannot recommend enough, and will definitely be back for anything we need sharpened in the future!

Got my grooming shears sharpened at Riptide and they cut beautifully now! Im very pleased with their excellent work and they were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Riptide sharpening are the best. Great service, friendly people. Having recently been divorced I never understood my Xs demand for nice sharp kitchen knives. Now that I am doing the cooking I get it and Riptide keeps my kitchen cutlery sharp and I appreciate what that means now. TY

Had them sharpen 5 dog clipper head blades along with a couple of knives and a pr. of scissors. They indicated we needed to have our power unit for the trimmer drive head replaced and provided us with a contact and number. We sent those 5 heads and power unit to that contact. Today we got a call and was told the repairs were done. Their bill included the repair as well as re sharpening those 5 clipper heads, stating they were Not sharpened correctly. I did advise Riptide of this, and suggested he call and ask them what was not done correctly. Did receive a call back, offered a refund or credit for future work. Indicated they would check to see what issues existed. Id use Riptide again.
