Any time the real estate market is hotter than an oven, people jump in to “own their own business” by becoming a real estate agent. Talk to anyone with over twenty years in the business investing in real estate like myself, and they will tell you how challenging it is with so many newbie agents that have zero clue about negotiating, market values, renovating, etc…It’s like the blind leading the blind. Clients depend on their agents and most of the agents don’t understand inspection reports, construction, appraisals, comps, etc…. I have lost count of the amount of times Realtors fill out the paperwork wrong.However, this is not the case with Aleisha. She is a true professional, and has a background in construction so she can handle all of the buyers that want to bail when that 1/2 day of repairs are put on an inspection report. She is calm, open minded, and understands that negotiating is a two way street. Very easy to work with, yet is not afraid to push back with questions or concerns. She goes to the end of the earth for her clients and protects them, yet she also educates them on what is reasonable in a transaction. “Mr. buyer, the seller probably isn’t coming off of their price $50,000 because your paid inspector found a nail pop, and if the buyer puts it back in the market, they will have another multiple bid situation with reasonable people”.It is a hard job being an agent due to the different skill sets you have to have and I can say Aleisha is very well rounded. She is also resourceful by getting answers if she doesn’t have them. She does what she says she is going to do, doesn’t vanish for weeks and then expects the seller to extend dd or closing because they were to lazy to schedule things in a timely manner.If you want a home and don’t want to keep losing out like so many buyers, go with someone that treats this as a business and not a hobby. She is your lady!
