Ema has been an answer to prayer for my daughter. She has a gentle spirit, listens and genuinely cares for her clients. She has a special way with teenagers and is able to hone in on the real issues at hand. She holds them accountable for doing things beyond medication and therapy. Such as exercise, diet and sleep. 3 things that teenagers lack the most! You wont be disappointed.

Disappointed is an understatement. Miss Emma, who is a nurse practitioner, overlooked my symptoms other than psychiatric and wanted to abruptly switch from one benzo (that I’ve been on for almost 20 years and is the only one that ever worked for me) to another one I’ve tried before and never worked. When I told her office that I wasn’t comfortable with that switch she discharged me from her practice. She had my timeline of when I began my antidepressant wrong even after I told her I have been keeping a daily diary of it. Said I would have to check into Rockford or some other mental facility when in fact the issues I’ve been having is not only with anxiety but physical from something else. I thought she would know that since she’s a NP as well and I had explained my symptoms over and over again. I have had to stop my antidepressant because of the extreme adverse effects I ended up having even though I stayed on them for 8 weeks and have not been able to find a new psychiatrist because theyre either not accepting new patients or they’re booked until after summer. My boys have had to witness and have been affected by the many emotional breakdowns due to the lack of care from this “practitioner”. Dr. Emma was fine in the beginning but she can get disrespectful and unprofessional. I really thought I had found the right one. This practice is not more about you. It is more about her lack of help and knowledge. For her to just discharge me like that while starting a new medication she had prescribed for anxiety and depression is beyond cruel. How she was able to be licensed in medicine is beyond me.

Will not return.I was awaiting on an email to address my concerns which has not happened.

Met Dr. Emma, threw my Mother, and I knew right away, that I needed her in me and my children’s life. She is amazing, Unfortunately, I live in a different state and we found out my insurance wouldn’t cover out of state services and I had to put my therapy on hold. However, she is so excellent at what she does, she is worth paying out of pocket. I plan on returning to her very soon!!!

If I could give this practice a 0 star review, I would. The doctor would only try to prescribe brand new drugs and didnt listen to me when I started having negative side effects. I asked if I could send an email after researching the medication she wanted to put me on, but she said that she didnt have time to read an email and discharged me from the practice because she refused to listen to what I was saying and give me more than 15 minutes to think about a new medication.

Ema Ndi is amazing! She is, and always has been a critical part of my support network for more than three years now. She has made one of the most important positive impacts in my life! My family and I love her and her entire staff! Thank You Ema, for being there for our whole family, I don’t know where I’d be without you!

Dr Ema Ndi is great and wonderful. She helps me and my daughter a lot. She really cares about her patients. Staff are very nice and friendly. Great atmosphere in her office. She is AWESOME. My daughter loves to go to her office and talk to her.
