I would give this a zero if I could. We live on the cherry point base over 2hrs away. Since switching houses on base for medical reasons in January 2020 we have had nothing but issues with the Wilmington NC FedEx location delivering our package. They often will have it out for delivery and then will return it to the warehouse. Months back it happened to my hubby’s package that it took a month straight for him to get a package and that was after I hunted down the Wilmington NC contact information. It kind of got better since then but it started back up. Our current package is on day five of being out for delivery and already says the deliver didn’t attempt as of 11:13am est and we supposedly will get it tomorrow. The item is for our upcoming pcs in September so we can NOT wait a month to get this package!!!!!! Anyone being stationed at cherry point and plan to live here on base don’t order through companies who use FedEx unless you plan to wait for months to get packages.

Make it make sense. My package needs a signature but the drivers never show up during the time that’s given. I’ve missed my medicine from the VA twice because the driver never showed up or showed up during a time that wasn’t listed. End of the day delivery means what exactly? What is considered the end of the day? People who have jobs can’t sit at home and wait for a package that never shows or arrives late. Fed ex you are trash and I really hope this is just tied to this location.

They were fine. They had my package ready when I walked in the door. Although, I shouldnt have had to drive there to pick it up. They should have delivered it to my address yesterday like they were supposed to. GPS takes them right to my door. Theres NO excuse for why it didnt get to me. If I had not picked it up today, they werent going to send it back out to me until TUESDAY!! So, I will take my 5 stars back and give them, generously 3 stars. I mean it is their business to DELIVER packages.
Entirely too expensive with service that is undependable and inconsistent. Case in point, a medium rarely used with modern technology is the facsimile. However, the occasional company does require and accept a fax. I needed to send a fax to such a company recently. This fax was approximately 8 or ten pages in total. I paid fourteen dollars to FedEx to send this fax.

I run a local cat rescue. Last week we ordered 12 tubs of litter and 5 30lb bags of food. According to FedEx website it was out for delivery on November 18th. Then it was delayed until the 19th. Then I was told they needed instructions to delivery. Its pretty simple pull in driveway and unload. No further instructions needed . I called both the sender and FedEx to give any needed instructions but they didnt know what was needed. Our driver grumbles over delivering 2 tubs of litter and it looks like he simply said he needed instructions because he was too lazy to unload all this. Even though Ive called to see what instructions they need today they returned all my packages to the original retailer. Id be angry enough if these were my own personal packages, but to be so lazy as to do this to a non-profit organization is beyond unprofessional!

Driver was lazy took package to wrong place. I called to see where it was since I got an alert it was delivered and they said driver will pick back up and deliver next day. Then I called back same day to make sure have package and they confirmed it was on truck. Now 7 calls later package is lost. The front office promised they would call us back and nothing yet now and it has been 4 days. The worst customer service ever. Do not use FedEx if you can avoid. 1 star is not as low as they should be.

This is the worst I have seen. I have had FedEx deliver 2 packages in the past 2 week and they delivered both to other addresses than mine. I have to rely on neighbor is to finish delivering my packages. Teach your drivers how to read, they dont know how.

For the fifth consecutive time FedEx has delivered my package to the wrong address. The fifth time. Call customer service and all get is a continuous chorus of “I’m sorry” and “it’s not my fault.” Never receive a call back with any updates or even the slightest rumor of resolution. I understand that FedEx doesn’t recruit drivers, customer service or managers from Harvard but this is absolutely ridiculous and pathetic. A carrier pigeon would be more reliable.
2 packages were tracked as delivered to my front door. Neither was delivered as well as 2 of my neighbors. Received a call several days later from a retirement village down the road that had all 4 packages of both mine and 2 other neighbors. Attempted to report this to Fedex and there was no option for this report/complaint. The robo phone options repeated that package was delivered. No option to report wrong delivery by the driver. Stayed on hold for customer service for over an hour.

I got a call from Fedex asking me to call them about a package addressed to me that was delivered to the wrong address. After wasting my time sitting on hold, they told me that the sender was the one that was supposed to call to re-route the package to the correct address.
Joe delivered a package to me while visiting topsail and not only did he deliver it with a smile and on a timely matter; he took the time to pet four of my dogs that greeted him. Joe did great and he had nothing but good things to say.

Driver left packages on front porch when sign clearly said to leave in carport. I stopped the driver & he said he refuses to leave them anywhere but on the front, said “that’s his job”. Called FedEx location on 23rd St. in Wilmington only to be routed into a web of automated messages. How do you speak to the office? It’s impossible! Terrible service defiant driver, no number to talk to anyone.
A series of lies from this company about my package. First was the attempted delivery. Scheduled delivery was Saturday. Waited all day because their website said theyd deliver up to 8pm. I checked the tracker every hour for a update. Nothing until 7:30 pm. System updates saying they attempted delivery at 4:25 pm. I can guarantee no one from fedex even pulled into my parking lot that day. I call and two reps tell me essentially the same thing, Sorry, but itll be there Monday. Fine, unlucky me, but Ill wait.I call Monday morning to confirm delivery. The customer service rep tells me its still on the truck and will be delivered that day. Now thats 3 different reps telling me Ill have it Monday. But come 3 pm, I get an update saying its back at this FedEx facility and delivery will be Tuesday. I call the 800# and talk to a manager who was going to look into it and call me back in 10 minutes. I never heard back from her, called again and got the run around. At this point, I dont really expect to get it tuesday. Save yourself the trouble and use a different courier, FedEx just plain sucks.
I was supposed to originally get my package on 10/12/19 I had waited the entire day. I stayed home just to wait for the package and was even told by customer service rep that it would be here by the end of their business day. 8 pm came and nothing...So I called them back and then I was told it would be Tuesday because Monday was a holiday and it actually is not a holiday here in the USA. I was getting the text notifications for status updates. Between all the calls and the misinformation I was getting from the service reps I was pretty strung out. I have severe depression with anxiety issues and this was not helping. I had never had to deal with this before. Well anyhow, I had called the service number again, they sent a message to FedEx in Wilmington to find out why I was not going to get my package today. Not even 10 minutes went by when I had hung up and I got a text stating that my package had been delivered and signed for with the signature on file. I immediately went to my door and there was nothing then I look down the street and see the truck coming down the street with two guys in the truck laughing. They pulled up I went outside and remained as calm and nice as I possibly could. They continued to laugh at me as I took my package and went back inside. I had to take a Xanax because I had a severe panic attack...by far the worst experience ever and other peoples suffering is not funny. I have a lot of health issues so this prank was a bit much for me.

Been here 3 times out of convenience. All three times were awful. I plan on going out of my way for my next shipping needs. They never have change, so you always end up paying too much if you use cash. Vanessa, a cashier is not a pleasure to deal with. She called a driver the R word & dumb -jokingly- while I was in there. Still, you shouldnt say that in the workplace. It is unprofessional.
Store opened a bit late, not a major issue. Only one worker who had to answer the phone causing 5 people in line to wait for a bit. Worker was very polite and professional.
I would go out of my way to go to The UPS store over this place again. It had a long line and my package ended up coming back to my house instead of the intended receiver. Im only thankful they have friendly service at the shop. But Im sticking with Brown in the future.
This must be the most sorry facility ever. Scanned my package yesterday 12/13 at 8:13 am did not put it in the truck for delivery then when I called Fed Ex they tell me is going to be delivered today 12/14 by 8pm. Checked status at 7pm on 12/14 now it says pending. So why in the HELL!!!!! Did I paid for 2 day delivery. Now tonight they tell me I need to call back on Monday because no one can tell me WTF is going on. LIE TO ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU LIE TO ME TWICE DONT THINK SO. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Did you know we had bad weather on 3/5/20 and packages could not be delivered and no one was at home on 3/6/20 to get the package. They do nothing but lie and I am sick and tired of them. I know requested UPS because they show up no matter what. Plus in the past the FedEx driver turned around on my lawn and made some deep ruts and they did nothing to fix it.

Worst Customer Service Ive ever encountered. Im going on the limb and say that some of their employees convey racist attitudes. They tend to refer you to their 1-800 customer number to get rid of you or to excuse their lack of understanding. I suggest that anyone who wants to use FedEx go to their Oleander office which is located across Trader Joe. There their service and care is extremely top notch. If it were possible to give the 23rd Branch negative stars I would.

They do not follow the delivery instructions you provide for packages. I am home all day (work from home) and specify to deliver the package to my front door. They will drop it off at the leasing office, which is not open when I get off work. The times they do follow the delivery instructions they deliver to the wrong address and the package is lost. Always before a holiday. Thanks for nothing FedEx. Going to use UPS whenever possible.

My product shipped last thursday and said it would be here Saturday. It was a car exhaust for a customer of mine. I told them i would be able to have their car finished by Sunday especially since it was on a truck for delivery on Saturday. I called the help line no one would try to contact the driver to see if he was going to make it to me and now im loosing money for not being able to get it done on time and wasted a day waiting at my house to accept the package
Fedex provided me and my business with very poor shipping and customer service! I requested that if my product didn’t make the delivery truck that it be held for pick up, I was told that it did make the truck and would be delivered as scheduled!! Was called back an hour later right before I had to be to work and told that the shipment was pulled from the truck as I requested and held for pickup which I didn’t request it be pulled from the truck! When I went to pick up the shipment it wasn’t all there they had only pulled half of it from the truck and sent the other half out for delivery! It is now 6pm in the afternoon and when I tried to call to see if the driver was still making deliveries I was told my shipment was sitting in a warehouse in a completely different city! Yes I was lied to!!! When I asked to be connected to the shipping facility I had visited earlier that day they refused to connect me!! Use UPS save yourself the headache!!!
If you want to get your package on time don’t use FedEx you will regret it. Understaffed, manager is not here and one guy is supposedly working while the other 3-4 people don’t do anything.Good luck I recommend staying with UPS or USPS!!!
Well....lets start with this: they moved locations in May of 2017, yet they still show this location on their website. After checking to see that they were still there I drove there, only to find out they are NO LONGER AT THAT LOCATION!!! And, do you think that they could put any kind of sign as to WHERE they moved????? NO....What complete asshats running this business. The sad part is that FedEx is one of the better solutions out there.

Did not deliver packages on time. Each day they update the tracking saying they will deliver tomorrow and no delivery. They keep pushing it to the next day with no explination. Days later still no packages. Called regional office who tried to contact local office, local office wouldn’t answer the phone.
The facility had no customers except myself during my most recent visit. I explained the importance of the accuracy of the shipping information, which was written and labeled (for their convenience) on two separate post-it notes.I verbally spelled the information to the employee twice and explained that the notes were labeled return address and recipient address. They made a spelling error (this happens...human error!), but they provided incorrect instructions for voiding the shipment, which in turn, caused my companys account to be charged and credited.Be sure to be firm and clear with these people!
I needed to ship an international shipment on a Sunday. My package did not leave until Monday but but the convenience of a Sunday drop off was a big help.

Most incompetent FedEx ship center. My package has been delayed TWICE because of imaginary weather conditions. Ive lodged several complaints against this location. I paid for 2 day shipping....its almost 4 days late. If I dont get my package today, I will be taking legal action. They lie and deliver packages that are damaged for no reason.
Three different FedEx shipments lost between the Wilmington depot and our house. The contract driver (who misdelivered the latest load next door where no one is there) just told me that they deliver based on the GPS and dont even look at the address. Now thats plain stupid.
Needed to pick up a package, lady who helped me was rude and abrasive. I was at the wrong place but she scorned me for not knowing better. I tried to explain I was from out of town, but she brushed me off and gave me short, vague directions to the distribution center. Now the people at the distribution center were awesome and super helpful.

Had important packages overnighted. One of them took 4 days to get to my city, the other 2. They were put on a truck to be delivered today and instead got brought back to the facility customer service stated it was due to inclement weather, although I was able to drive there without issue. No flooding in this area. CS said they closed at 8, got there at 715, the doors opened, and 10 minutes later was kicked out without a word about what happened. One of those packages with vital to my job. Horrible service. Horrible delivery. Go UPS, dont use these clowns.

Paid for Next Day 8AM Delivery, got worse than Ground!! January snow was forcast, very helpful and friendly woman at the counter told me they would be picking up early to get ahead of the snow. I was at the location when they unlocked their doors at 7am Wednesday morning. The package didnt even leave Wilmington until 11:35a Thursday morning - 3 1/2 hours AFTER it was supposed to be DELIVERED!!! It didnt even get to Charlotte until FRIDAY EVENING AT 6:51pm!!!! And now, instead of refunding me the difference in the cost, the cowards hide behind their Money Back Guarantee!! I will NEVER use FedEx again!!!

Walgreens on Market and Kerr you can send already postage paid packages and receive packages from 8:00am to 10pm M-F. A great convenience for customers. Thank you my neighborhood Walgreens.
Fedex has reached out to me and stated that it wasnt weather it was a surplus of packages that UPS failed to deliver durning the storm that Amazon picked fedex to deliver so they have had more than 22,000 packages per day and are now getting caught up with the overflow so if anyone has delayed packages from Fed ex this is why I em editing review to reflect the new information I have received however I still feel fedex should have made its customers aware that this was the case in their system so that users could see this when they look up their tracking info rather than seeing it just sit there for days on end.
Driver was to lazy to complete their route so they labeled my package as undeliverable needing to update my address. In no way shape or form do they care if you are losing money by not having your item.

I missed a package by less than 5 minutes that required a signature. To start with, it was to be shipped overnight but since FedEx Express wont deliver over the weekends, I had to wait until today to receive the package. I couldnt request a deliver time window. There was only a two hour window that someone wasnt going to be at my home on the delivery day and sure enough, that is when delivery was attempted. The door tag didnt say if a second delivery would be attempted or when/if the package would be available for pick up. I will also be letting the company I ordered from know about my complaint. I will try never to have to have packages shipped through FedEx. Now I have to be sure someone is at my residence all day tomorrow. Some people have to work!
Seem to have developed a pattern of either misdelivering our packages or taking them, but whatever it is, we dont get them. They are scanned as delivered but as someone is home everyday on a rural road, nobody has come through.Trying to get them to b accountable is a nightmare as they give you the runaround and promises of followups with no action. Frustrated and out of money.

Always have issues when im receiving packages thru this Fedex location, They had my package for a week and all the tracking says OUT FOR DELIVERY in the morning and in the afternoon it says NO ATTEMPT MADE WILL ATTEMPT TOMORROW. LIKE WHY?! I had to call corporate two days in a row in order to get my package. This facility needs to get its stuff in order. YOU WILL NOT be getting my business again.
