They were fast, I’ll give them that. I had a deck belt off, they came, the younger repairman by hand loosely placed belt back on its track, I had told them it smokes and shakes when deck is attempting to engage then belt comes off it also will shut off when in reverse, not attempting to mow, I know it can’t mow in reverse, it shuts off just trying to reverse the tractor as you would a car. He took one short path around the yard,he never put it in reverse to test if it’d shut off, they changed the blades, which I provided, the entire time they kept telling me it should only be 2 bladed, and I had purchased 3 according to the manufacture manual, they didn’t argue per se but that certainly didn’t believe that this female was correct. When they got the mower up on their lift, they said “look at that, well that’s a first”. They also came in 2 vehicles, I live in a small residential area with one business across the street “grandfather in” and they without my knowledge and without asking the business, parked their enclosed utility trailer attached to an suv, just as they were leaving, the business owner came out and asked them to move it,he (MowSharp) promised me he’d phone them when he left to apologize, he did not. I returned to my mower and not even 20 seconds in, the belt “they fixed by hand” fell off again and my tractor now wouldn’t even drive, I phoned them immediately and was told it was out of their area of knowledge basically and I would need to take it to somewhere like Honest Engine. Basically I was charged $130 for my blades to be changed. Actually the belt needed replacement, and the proper way to replace that belt is to drop the deck. I feel they’re a “quick fix band-aid” type service. At least in my case it seemed. If you need a simple mower task completed, blades changed, seat adjusted, oil checked, etc..you might can take a chance that your mower wouldn’t be in worse shape like mine when they left as before they arrived. I’ve been told by those that know mowers to take them to Coastline Mower Repair on Market Street. I’m not gonna be calling them((MowSharp)anymore.
I called and they were there the next day. John showed up when he said he would, did a great job, was personable, and finished in a timely manner. I was impressed with the work and the price was fair. I would recommend them to anybody.
It is so convenient that they come out to your house. My mower was having some issues, making me think I’d need to buy a new one. But it’s all set for very little money and zero hassle. I’ve yet to try it out since their service this morning, but I feel confident they would be responsive to any further issues. These are friendly and fair professionals.
Message left and call return within 48 hours. Came to my house to initially to sharpen blades, but ended up replacing air filter and spark plugs. Mower hasnt run this well since first bought. Came to my home so saved me time and energy to haul to a store as well. EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED!!
Job well done. Highly recommend them for the job.
Reached out to Mowsharp last week and Had my Honda mower fixed by today. Extremely good price and everything seems to be fixed correctly. Nothing but good stuff to say! Highly recommend.
Fast, friendly and fair. Will definitely use these guys again.
The belt on my riding lawn mower that engages the blades jumped the track. I didnt have the strength to get it back where it needed to go, which was on an awkward to get to pulley with a metal guard on it. Contacted MowSharp through their website email submission. They contacted and set up an appointment for me just a few days later. Team came out and got the mower all fixed up. Very nice people, great service and great price. Will definitely contact again for any further mower issues. Thank you Team!!
3 hours late and charged me an extra $20. Did the work without asking me. Felt like a used car sale transaction
Best service ever!My mower stopped cutting and the MowSharp team was quick to respond. They showed up, sharpened my mower blades and had my lawnmower working better than when I got it!Thanks MowSharp! 5 stars!
Mow Sharp is a real find! Mower died.....stress mounting. I called, expecting to have to lug the greasy mower into the back of my car. They happened to be close by and were here in 20 minutes. Fixed the problem, sharpened the blades, reworked the pulley until it was user friendly and charged way less than I expected for such great service. There will be no more trying to fix it myself. Linda
Quick blade sharpening, air filter and spark plug replacements. Reliable and competitively priced.
Didnt have to figure out how to take my mower in for repair. They came to me for less than most would charge for me to drag it in. No upfront diagnostic charges.
