Pre flood was exceptionally helpful with recommendations for removing a 30yr old glue down carpet on concrete. The ride on flooring remover is tricky to drive but does get easier and is worth the rental fees and trouble.

PreFloor Distributors are our favorite floor supply store! They do offer anything a floor installer could want but they even offer more. They also do rug binding and floor scraper equipment rental, Don and doug are both incredibly personable and knowledgeable, we were so impressed with all the expertise about better ways to do the things we do for work every day, they are going to save us tons of time and money. Just as important as their superior knowledge in the flooring industry, they also carry the tools needed to do the job. I found several tools I have been searching for months to find.

They did an excellent job serging two large rugs for us. Rugs look fantastic!

Outstanding !We had a really simple job, trim 22 from an area rug and bind it to look like it was never touched. I went into PreFloor and asked if they could do the job - of course, he said, be glad to. Before I knew it he had the rug out of my car and into the shop. The seamster look it over and said come back in 4 hours. What, you mean I dont have to wait a week or more?! So I come back in 3 hours expecting to wait but it was ready anyway. The cost was minimal - far less than I expected.These guys, I assume they own the place, are gracious, courteous, helpful, and do expert work. Ill be back for sure when I need carpet work done and will post my experience on NextDoor.com so my Southport neighbors know about this place.

I could give a 10 star review but I would have . Don and Dougs knowledge of flooring is not something you frequently come across in the age of the big box stores. I am a residential carpenter that recently took on commercial remodel that I struggled through. After taking the time to familiarize me with the tools I needed, I cut my man hours in half on the next install. THANK YOU!!!!

PreFloor Distributors is the best flooring distributor in this region of the United States. I met Don through National Flooring who turned me on to a great carpet binding machine. They have tons of carpet, vinyl, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, demolition, and supply tools ready for any installation. They also have great deals on supplies. Don has them shipped right to my warehouse at no extra charge. He also has helped me with my binding machine several times. I drove all the way from Louisville, KY to NC to visit Don. He is a very knowledgable person when it comes to flooring tools and supplies.
