This is for the braiding shop...You would think during these times businesses actually cared about customer relations, but guess not. Scheduled an appt for the AM weeks in advance..she text the night before and tried to reschedule for another day at 8PM... absolutely not..rescheduled for another day weeks in advance for another AM appt. She texts the morning of 2 hours before talking about cancelling yet again, and reschedule for another day during the evening...like huh? what are you into? Just wanted my hair done, the first style was okay even though the plats started slipping out within the first 24 hours, but took it like maybe she didnt know my hair since it was the first time. Now I see she doesnt take pride in her work, and shes a storyteller! keep your non refundable payments and keep researching for a TRUSTWORTHY stylist even they are very hard to come by these days. Better yet...learn to do your own hair from YT or something.

Mona is a fantastic stylist (both natural hair & weave/wig installation)! When you book with her you can guarantee that you will be started on time & leave satisfied. The shop itself is clean & the other barbers/stylists are professional and pleasant. I definitely recommend.

I cannot speak for the salon, but I had a hair appt with Emma Lee twice, and unfortunately, both experiences were abrasive & borderline uncomfortable. For starters, her communication is not good & shes unprofessional. She comes across as very knowledgeable, but the way she interacts with You are nonchalant. The first appt I scheduled a silk press, I was on time but was not started until 20 mins later. My hair was okay when complete, but it wasnt anything to call home about. Basic wash, no treatment recommended, and forget trying to build rapport for return business. I chalked it up to a bad day. I wanted to give her one more shot, so I scheduled another takedown & silk press style. I read her description for take down, but it was very misleading. Apparently she only does take down for crochet & not weave. The description did say crochet but it was worded ”crochet Weaving,” sis comes on. Ill take full responsibility for misunderstanding the content, but literally, I wasnt there for two Seconds before she canceled my appt Because she No longer Does this service. Youre a hairstylist! It not much to take your time & remove The extensions. It would have taken 30 minutes tops. I was only getting a silk press, which may take an hour and ten minutes. She had plenty of time to get the job done & build rapport with a potential bi-weekly client. My job is customer service and building relationships to manage & grow business, and she lacks this experience. She has some growing to do & I hope she sees this feedback and applies it to future business. Forgot to mention the best part; she told me I could have someone take it out & come back within the time frame of my appt & she would finish 🙄. Girl, you dont have to ever worry about my business again. I hope the $37.50 you charged me for the appt you canceled because you couldnt do something you were taught helps you sleep at night.

My wife and son recently moved from Jamaica and we were looking for a place to take our 6 year old boy to get a proper haircut since we have moved to N. Wilmington. We asked around and everyone recommended QBs barbershop.We were thrilled at the help that Shabba gave our son. He smiled and laughed the whole time that he was getting his hair cut.I highly recommend QBs barbershop. They provide very good service and there is a healthy, positive vibe that permeates.
