Had my car towed here as it wouldnt start. Kirkwood Auto had it fixed within a couple days at a reasonable price. Car starts and sounds great now! I go here for all of my auto needs.

I think Kirkwood Auto is excellent! I felt compelled to write a review because unfortunately I recently blew a tire and bent my rim. I was on the side of the road by myself. They were the first place I called. They were helpful and patient. Told me to check my insurance to see if towing was covered (it was). I then got safely home because Kirkwood Auto offers a shuttle service. They got back to me quickly too about the damage. Overall, it’s just that every time I’ve dealt with them I’ve gotten honesty, good service, and fair prices.

They were able to get my daughter car in and get her all taken care of seeing that she is 600 miles from home and needed a mechanic....they got her in and resolved her issue...

Its always nice to get an honest opinion about my vehicles! Some things need to be fixed immediately and some things can wait. These guys walk you through all your options and let you know up front about costs and procedures. Highly recommended..

Really happy with the service, timeliness, and kindness from Kirkwood Auto. I just moved here from NJ and this will be my go to for all of my auto needs. The staff were patient with answering all of my questions and explaining their process and helped me find tires within my budget-- then worked with me on different pricing options. I take my vehicles to Kirkwood Automotive for all of my car care needs, as do my children. They are able to schedule all of my maintenance items within the time that I have available. They let me know if I need to be thinking about other repairs moving forward so that I can prepare for the larger items. They are super friendly and polite. My service advisor, Sam Bell, is fabulous! He gets me prices when I ask, calls to let me know when my car is ready for pick up and I trust him 100%. The waiting area is clean and kid friendly! I recommend Kirkwood Automotive to EVERYONE I know. Do yourself a favor and ditch the dealership. Kirkwood Automotive cares about you, your car and your situation and it shows.

Hector is spot on with getting me to work on time, and the front desk people are professional and well mannered.

Great service as long as you book in advance. They are very busy. That is the only downside. So, i booked it 8 days in advance, and they performed the service that day. Everything is fine, and it all worked out. Make sure if you have coupons that you present them before you pay. If you forget, they will honor them for your next service. Triple AAA members should always get a discount on labor. They are a good auto service outlet.

Bryan and Christopher and all the mechanics are awesome. They always work so hard to make sure that everything is done correctly. I can always trust that they provide us with all the information we need to make the best decission and this time was no different.

I also asked for a brake check and if they could do the brakes when I dropped off for an oil change. I was told that I do not need them. I was thankful for their honesty. They couldve charged me for brakes and I wouldnt have known.

Sam the service advisor was very patient and listened to my issues and concerns. I felt like I was a valued customer at their place. Night drop off and option to pay over over phone for after hours pick up was great for the working person. I really dont feel that I was charged fairly. Felt like being taken advantage of. Diagnostic test is pretty common out there with charges not exceeding $100. But I was charged way over simply to check Emission light resulting from faulty gas tank cap sensor.

Great Experience with Kirkwood Auto Center - Everyone was very pleasant at the Center. I had to get a new battery installed - I was in and out within 90 minutes.

Helpful staff. They honored the coupon I had (agreed to one -time) although due to model/make of my care, it required special parts. But this seemed fair. Best auto repair outfit I have dealt with in Delaware.

My car was towed into Kirkwood Auto for transmission problem. Kyle was very helpful on the phone(as usual). My car is older and I am the 2nd owner. The problem turned out to be quite extensive. In the end I decided to scrap said vehicle. Again, Kyle was very helpful in taking care of that aspect as well.I have only been living in DE for a few years, and have used Kirkwood for all maintenance. They are always helpful and kind. When my new vehicle is in need, I will be returning

I took my 2007 Chevy Silverado to Kirkwood Auto Center to get new wheels and tires, and also to get it lifted and leveled. I’ve received a lot of compliments from friends, family, and even coworkers on how good it looks! I am very pleased with the professionalism of the staff and the quality of work they performed. Great place, polite, and honest. Our old 2nd car, was on its last leg and they confirmed a major safety issue we long suspected. They helped us reach a decision to let it go without pressuring us to make all the costly repairs. Even allowed us to house the vehicle until we could find a good salvage price. 5 stars! We decided to get some work done on our main vehicle and they did great work.

This establishment is so professional. You have an appointment. Drop your car off and there are no delays. The service providers keep you informed. I had an oil change, tire rotation and window issue -- it was all completed perfectly and at a VERY reasonable price. When I went to check out the Service Manager was wonderful and explained to me how often I need my oil changed -- less than I thought AND told me why. Just an outstanding experience! I will be back.

I talked with Sam on the phone about replacing my run-flat tires with regular tires. The price he quoted me beat three other places I checked, and he called me back quickly to schedule the install. I waited for the tire swap and wheel alignment in the service center waiting room, which was very clean, had a workspace and good wifi so I could work while I waited. Everyone I spoke with was professional and welcoming, and kept me updated as the service was completed in the time they said it would. Will use KAC again and highly recommend you check them out!

Kirkwood auto center was great! I ended up getting two punctures in two different tires while passing through the area on 95 south. Found kirkwood via Google search. Was just able to get there with 18psi in both tires left. Lucky for me they opened early. They got me into their appointment schedule to patch both wheels and had met back on the road to my appointment. They have a nice waiting area with TV, chairs, and office desk to do some work while waiting, and clean bathroom.

Kirkwood Auto Center is the only place I trust with my car. They give amazing customer service every time. Educate me and give me real and honest advice with what I need for my car. I would recommend them to any and everybody willing to listen!

They are way overpriced. 4,600 for a transmission and just to look at my car 140.00. Prices kept changing and receipt notes inaccurate Looks to me like they are only good with tires and oil changes. I last paid 1,700 for a transmission and labor. Customer service and communication skills of the staff is vile.

I have used Kirkwood Auto for many cars through the years. I get my tires there and the service is awesome. Last month my car went in for a tire rotation and oil change but was smoking when I drove it over. Even though the quarantine was in affect they called me to discuss everything. They made it easy for drop off. They call before they do anything and explain and quite prices. They replaced my hose for the coolant(car is 2007 Subaru turbo) I drive my car home and parked it. The next day I drove to work(I’m a medical essential) and it started smoking again. It was the weekend so I emailed them and got a call 8am Monday. Another hose had burst(sooner or later hoses wear out) Got my car in and out and all is well! I want to esp mention Sam,Chris and Kyle were outstanding and so friendly!

The personnel at Kirkwood Auto are always professional & personable - answer any questions I may have about my vehicle; keep me informed regarding the job they are doing & report to me, beforehand, about any issues they have found. Very up-front about the condition & wear of my vehicle which, of course, is VERY important to me. The folks at Kirkwood Auto have been keeping me safe, probably going on 18-20 yrs now. Wouldnt go anywhere else with my truck or car care.

Needed 4 new tires after I got a flat on a Sunday going to work. I was able to easily schedule online for the next day. Tires were done in under 2 hours and for a great price with rotation and repairs included. Will use in the future and recommend to others.

This place is awesome! Wish I had known about it before now. They are very friendly and the service is great! I thought waiting area was nice and had some nice amenities. Bathrooms and facility overall are very clean. I LOVED the fact that they had a shuttle to take people home or pick them up. Saved me several hours!
