Very nice customer service just very upset about not getting rental insurance. She said to many claims. Been with you for 25 years or more. Thanks, insurance is to use if needed.
On hold for 45 minutes for a quote. Hung up and went to State Farm and had great service and quote in 5 minutes. Sorry Hartford, you need to improve...a lot.
Their driver rear ended my new car while I was at a red light in philly. I was on vacation and I they were closed on the weekend at the time. I had to tie my bumper to my car and pray I could make it home because my vaca was pretty much over the day it started. Waited until Monday and they refused to do anything until they investigate(that takes 30 days) even though it was obvious their driver was at fault. I’m an adult and I had to work and couldn’t wait for them so I had to go through my insurance, which added $100+/month because of this dude ripped up my bumper and bent the frame of the car. I couldn’t afford my insurance(geico) anymore. Geico was great, they took care of everything and got me in a rental immediately. Repairs took a while since damages were extensive. This insurance company had the audacity to call me a month later to say their driver was at fault. I had already taken care of it so I told them my insurance took care of it and hung up on them. I suffered ptsd from that accident for a good year but I’m ok now. These people are scum do not get them. And if your unfortunate enough to get hit by one of their drivers wait it out and make them pay. There’s no doubt in my mind that they use this wait tactic on people so they do what I did in frustration.
Terrible company. Takes minimum of 16 days to issue and then receive your check.
