Sharon was wonderful when I had questions and she ALWAYS called me when my car insurance payments were due. BUT I have two vintage cars. I was told that I couldn’t insure them with Hagerty due to my children’s (16 and 18) driving record. A few years later while I was looking into other companies I not only found lower rates for my three cars I also discovered that I COULD get my vintage cars insured my Hagerty. Not only are my vintage cars FULLY INSURED now but my rates are pennies on the dollar compared to Nation Wide.

My vehicle insurance was quite high for a 6 month period. I contacted the agency’s Shallotte office and was able to save approximately $300, for the same coverage with a different carrier. Subsequently, I was notified by the previous carrier that because of the change, they would no longer offer me “umbrella” coverage. The Shallotte agency is now in the process of securing coverage from another carrier, hopefully from the same carrier as I have for my present vehicle insurance. Stay tuned. I’m all will work out, as it has in the past.

Nationwide has given me prompt, courteous service when I have needed them. Some punk vandalized my car. Nationwide was there to fix it promptly. Unfortunately, due to the cost of the repairs, Nationwide upped my premium when it came due. I had to change to another carrier. Since then, I have had no claims and Nationwide picked up my service again at a lower rate. I am glad to be back in the hands of Nationwide.

About 7 years ago, my home owners insurance renewal costs took about a 60% increase. My home is located on Topsail Island, and is rated a coastal flood zone location. I contacted Jan Miller of Brad Sizemores Hampstead location, and she found me a policy for much less. Through last year, my policies premiums still remained lower than that quoted by my old company ~ 7 years ago. This year, there was a significant increase in my premium and deductible to renew my policy. Again, Jan found me a better policy with only a modest increase in premium and a much lower deductible.
