Over a year with serious LANDLORD Tenant Targeted Retaliation Issues.. for reporting the Landlord for submitting False Repair Reports to the State. Refusing to allow me Reasonable Accommodations to move because of my serious breathing conditions. After submitted evidence repairs were never made Paying for testing and verified Mold and Black Mold were present in my unit.. Due to the negligence of the Landlord Pabian Properties. Mold developed all over my personal items. I never received a response or any assistance with my issue. Always referred to CLASI who insist they have no funds available to assist me. Although I contacted CLASI over a year ago. Pabian Properties continued deceptive practices and manager Alyssa Patel. Tried to remove the mold from my personal items to again allege I lied about the conditions in my unit. Why would someone lie about not being able to breath or uninhabitable conditions? Or repairs that the Landlord Pabian Properties never completed. Any sensible individual would understand you could just request to gain access to verify my allegations. When the Director did do the inspection personally found Pabian Properties to be in noncompliance. Although some of the deficiencies were addressed not the major ones like the poor ventilation or Mold. But again they demanded me back to the basement or I would be thrown off an Affordable Housing Program during a Pandemic? But never addressed the Landlord Pabian Properties for lying to a Federally Funded program. Or about mold all over the things I worked to replace. Their idea of solving moisture in my unit is to place one dehumidifier on top of a kitchen cabinet with a hose running to the sink? Its obvious this Property Management Company has no respect for impoverished or disabled individuals. Are allowed to treat and disrespect their Tenats due to their race and income. What Reasonable individual would allow this type of Treatment? Or just to place a dehumidifier on top of a kitchen cabinet? Really? Black Lives Dont Matter in housing either?
I called earlier and spoke to kary to get advice on what I could do about my situation. She was very rude, didnt want to hear what I had to say. And the only thing she could say is our lawyers arent representing anyone we can file a complaint and what do you want me to do very rudely. All I called for was to get advice and to better understand my case. I tried to explain to that I didnt feel safe doing that because they would physically come after me. She got more irate with me. this place doesnt help and will only make you feel more unsafe
The woman that answers the phone is RUDE, i know it’s the attorney general’s office so they may think they can speak however they want to whomever but she needs some customer service classes!
They just wanted to put me off to other departments before they did there job
