Reason for only 3 stars... Over all I would say my carpets are cleaner, but they missed the outside of my stairs where the steps are on the outside of the rails.. I don’t know if that makes sense.. but my kids touch this area a lot and climb on it and it was pretty dirty and needed to be cleaned.. also, my cleaning window was 12-2 but they didn’t say they could arrive at anytime between then... I thought that meant they would be here from 12-2 cleaning... that’s no biggie, but they didn’t show up till 4:00 and they charge for every tiny thing.. so overall, It was just “alright”. The deodorizer really didn’t help it smell much better either. It wasn’t overwhelmingly a great experience. I paid $515 dollars for the service, so I guess I expected very big things. The people that came to clean were very nice and professional, so as far as that, that was good. I would consider using them again in the future, but I’d suggest that if they don’t show up in the time window and people have been waiting around for them for hours, they could at least consider a discount on the service or something along those lines.

The two technicians were polite and knowledgeable. They explained the procedure well, were quick, and provided comprehensive after care. My furniture looks great! The only criticism I would have (and I admit I am sensitive to this) is there was a strong cigarette odor I noticed that lingered for a while. I know they did not smoke in my home, so it must have been from before.

Cody was amazing...it was truly an amazing experience. He ensured that we were completely satisfied. He ended up staying 3xs longer than what was expected, but he ensured we were happy with his work... and we were. Thank you Cody for such an amazing job well done. Dale did an excellent job cleaning my carpets and rug. He was careful with my furniture and accessories and thorough in completing all required steps. He provided a complete carpet cleaning process from spot cleaning first to “raking” the carpet at the end. He also willing redid a small area I requested him to redo. Finally, Dale was very polite and respectful. I would recommend him to a friend. Thank you for a job well done.

I have used other companies for this type of service and none compare to the quality and professionalism I have experienced with Stanley Steamer. I was able to set everything up online and was always being updated before my service date. Once my date came they arrived when they said they would and performed even better than I expected. They provided me with pointers on how to make sure the carpet dried and how to even treat it if any other accidents occurred with my pets. I will be using their services again and highly recommend them.

I scheduled online and they confirmed immediately. Two, extremely nice, gentlemen showed up first thing this morning and took care of three rooms, a sofa, two club chairs and eight dining room chairs. We have an old Maltese who has taken to pottying in the house. Once they were done, there was absolutely no trace of any pee pee stains! They talked to me about each area they would be working on and made sure I knew how to protect the areas moving forward. HIGHLY recommend!

The crew got here at 11:45.. and were completely done in about an hour. They got here and went right to work. They did the stairs, a hallway and 3 bedrooms. They were professional and very respectful about my time. The carpets look great and feel good again on my bare feet.

Services base housing on Camp Lejeune! Way better than any carpet cleaner machines I have owned or rented. Professional, courteous, time efficient. The results are awesome. I have used them now for the fourth time and will continue because the results are consistent and reliable.

Have used Stanley Steemer 3 times in a row at my current residence but will not likely use them again. Quote I received over the phone was $200 less than what they charged me for the job. The work performed was good, but not worth the price charged. Disappointed.

We have a vacation rental condo at Carolina Beach and needed bedroom carpets, bathroom flooring and hardwood floors all cleaned and sanitized. The gentleman that showed up was awesome...I wish I remember his name! He confirmed with us what services we wanted and explained the process and expected results for the different flooring. Monday March 1, 2021 I had my carpets cleaned by this company and by two male technicians with this company, one or both of those boys stole my deployed husbands 9mm from my nightstand drawer. I’ve called and made a report with the police and I’ve called the owner. Not once did the owner apologize and in fact he insinuated that I just “misplaced” my home protection gun that I keep in my nightstand. I am absolutely in tears. This is the most unprofessional, irresponsible company that doesn’t offer any help to solve any issue, not even theft. Of a Firearm. THAT IS A FELONY.

Im really happy that I went with Stanley Steemer. When I was researching carpet cleaners, I had found another place that had great reviews on the mighty Google, but they didnt have a website, and when I called, the machine said it was a janitorial service, to leave a message, and someone would call me. They may be a great business, but I felt that was a little unprofessional.Then I saw Stanley Steemer, they have a website, they have a phone number that gets answered by a live human who clearly explains what you want to know, and they set up an appointment for me THE NEXT DAY! Much more professional.So the next day rolls around, and here comes Ronnie L at the helm of his mighty yellow cleaning vessel. Ronnie greeted me with a smile, we made our introductions, I gave him a tour of the home to show him the five or six carpeted areas that I had originally requested to be cleaned.When asked if cleaning wood floors was a service he provides, he explained my options and pricing (without the dreaded sketchy upsell pressure speech), yadda-yadda-yadda, I decided to go with cleaning AND sealing the wood floors as well, then Mister L got right to work. I thought it would take all day, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that to do all of that in a huge 4000 square foot house only took a few hours. (And NO, he didnt rush, he covered every square inch).Regarding pricing, the wood floor cleaning and sealing treatment was a few hundred dollars more than my low original quote (its a huge home), but all in all, I felt that the pricing was fair, and that it would be a good investment. Also, being in the very fortunate position to have zero furniture (or anything) on the floors, and not knowing the history of the previous owners, I wanted to make sure everything was nice and clean before moving all of my stuff in.Upon completion, Ronnie explained what he had done, the shoulds and should-nots regarding cleaning the wood floors (DONT use a steam mop, etc), handed me a business card and instructed me to call him if I ever have issues with the floors, took my payment, made sure I had no more questions, then he drove off into the sunset, Im assuming to his next happy customer.Upon inspecting all of the floors, I was left with nice, clean carpets throughout my new (to me) home, and wood floors with an awesome non-wax seal that, with proper cleaning and care, should last several years.The entire time he was here, Ronnie was careful moving his equipment around so as not to cause any damage, he was polite, courteous, friendly, and extremely professional. He has a large service area from Oak Island up to New Bern (and even farther), so when I get moved out of my old place, I absolutely WILL be calling him again to clean that. I highly recommend Stanley Steemer to anyone who needs their floors cleaned.

I had my couch clean which they did a poor job doing it they had to come out twice to reclean my sectiitonal it still have some sort stains They dont really steem your upholstery it is a suction machine that they use cold water to clean instead of hot steem to loosen the dirt folks save your money and do it yourself

While the cleaning they did was as expected, when completing the service they locked my cats in a closet. My cats then tore up my carpet trying to get out. I will not use again and I dont recommend using them given what happened.

My dryer cut off before it was dry does that mean its still clogged it still had time on the dryer

Brett is a rockstar, literally. Im shook by how clean he got our carpets. We had moved everything prior to his visit, so he left no stains untreated. Hes very knowledgeable, personable and eager to do a fantastic job, he went above and beyond for us, and it shows. I would highly recommend this service, and request Brett. I also think that the price is extremely reasonable too.

Theyre fast and I love the way my carpet feels after its cleaned. Make sure to have them go into the closet or move the tv stand. Once they werent going to go under my couch until I said. Its really good but actively have them get everywhere.

Fast, efficient, and friendly service

First, I scheduled my appointment online & never heard from anyone; I finally called the day before they were supposed to come to confirm my appointment & find out what time they were coming. My experience was not pleasant; after waiting until after 5pm, & also after they called & tried to reschedule, they finally showed up stating that they couldnt clean my carpets because I had no faucet outside of my apartment & the adapter they had wouldnt fit my sink. Oh & before they left Jerry proceeded to tell me that my carpets were dirty, well duh, do you think thats why I called you? Seems to me a company this large would be prepared for something like this. I would not recommend them!!

Showed up late. Didn’t move the sofa. Vacuumed around it. Carpet no cleaner than before they showed up. Called to ask for quick return to correct the problem. Left a message. Never heard back. Sorry I called them.

Arrived late, and I guess that is the new tactic with many companies that I’ve noticed that they are so scared you will cancel that they won’t call you ahead of your scheduled time if they are running behind. No discount for being over 30 minutes late and calling 28 minutes past the time range to tell me they are on the way. I let my husband deal with them to avoid cursing them out and canceling. I didn’t appreciate the lack of customer service, if your late within the first 5 seconds of a phone call better come with an apology.
