We have had our hot tub for 2 1/2 years. We have enjoyed it immensely nearly every day or night. I believe it is helping me at nearly 70 years of age, to feel younger and more agile. The staff at Allen Pools has been wonderful in teaching us and supporting us when needed. I highly recommend them and their products. We did a lot of research before we made a decision, both online and talking with other people who owned hot tubs. We haven’t had a moment’s regret.

I would highly recommend Allen Pools to anyone. Its a tricky time to buy a hot tub right now due to pandemic related delays, but Allen was clear about the time line from the start, and the exceptional service made the delay worth it. The delivery of our tub was simple and the crew was professional and did a great job explaining how to use the tub and its features after everything was set up. I have brought a couple of water samples in to the store in Williston, and theyve been great about telling us what to do to get the water just right. The tub is BEAUTIFUL, and we are 100% happy with it! The kids would be living in it if they could!!!

The folks working there have been patient and helpful, especially during this pandemic. We ordered a cover for our hot tub and due to job loss within the industry, supply and demand, etc., we had to wait 5 months for our cover to be delivered and installed. We purchased our hot tub seven years ago. We keep it outside on our deck. all year long. Other than new filters and changing the water there has been zero maintenence. Our family has been thinking of a hot tub for a few years. Always something we looked at the home shows. With the WFH situation and limited vacation options, 2020 was the time for us. I looked at a few other locations, and then we stopped at Allen Pools & Spas. They answered all our questions, with no pressure to buy. Dave helped us pick out a tub that matched our family needs and didn’t try to upsell us to a model we might have thought we wanted. Honest and sincere help to get us something we would enjoy for many years to come. As we prepped the location, I asked lots of questions and Dave was always prompt in replying and wanted to make sure we had and did everything we needed. With COVID we had to wait a while for delivery from California, no promises were made on the delivery time frame, but a time window was suggested, and delivery was on time. The crew was great and very professional. I can’t remember the lead guys name, but he is one smart dude and took the time to go over everything very well. As I read the manual after, I realized just how much knowledge he had, and it helped to have that conversation previously as I reviewed the manual. My hot tub came into my possession through buying a house. It is great that this company stands behind their sales even after a transfer of ownership. After a quick, free water test at Allen Pools and Spa and a couple treatments I was able to get the hot tub back to clear water. What needed to happen is not what I found online. We’ve been going to Allen Pools for years. Though it’s a fifty minute drive on a good day, it’s worth it. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The wonderful lady who deals with me most of the time is so patient, and I really appreciate how she won’t hesitate to ask one of her associates for help if she isn’t sure of something. That means a lot, as pool chemicals can be costly if you don’t get the right ones. My family is super happy with this store, and will continue to shop here for our pool needs and advice!

When we had a problem with our hot tub we phoned Allen Pools and Spas to schedule an appointment to have it evaluated. We had a technician come the very next day who was able to assess the issue and resolve it at that very visit.We were pleased with the quick response to our needs and the ability of the technician to have our hot tub back in good working order.Since purchasing our hot tub from Allen Pools and Spas in 2006, we have had many good years enjoying it. While we have had very few occasions to require a repair in all that time, it is nice to know that if we do, we can get the support we require.

My husband and I originally purchased our hot tub from this location and we were in purchasing supplies for it when Michael saw us looking at saunas and kiddingly said would you like to add a sauna to your purchase today. Thing is, we had been in a couple months ago inquiring about saunas and had never heard back from the salesman on duty that day. So we told Michael this and he had answers to all our questions back to us by the next day. Now we are getting our house ready for delivery! Michael is a very courteous and efficient salesman.

Im very happy with the sauna I purchased. Im also very happy with the excellent help i received from Kevin Stockwell, the sales person who I had a million questions for via email over several months before making a decision to buy. He was clear, friendly, patient, and gave me the info I needed to feel very comfortable making the right purchase. Also, the delivery and assembly was done well and efficiently. A couple of things that couldve been better: I didnt receive a receipt emailed or mailed after my by=phone purchase. That was unsettling. I also didnt hear anything about delivery status and after several weeks had to email to find out what the status was. Finally, the glass on the sauna was left full of finger prints. It was a messy winter day, so I get that some mess was unavoidable. But the sauna glass should look nice, I think, given the ease of cleaning it and the cost of the sauna. All that said, Im very happy overall and would buy again from them for sure.

My experience at Allen Pools & Spas couldnt have been any better. The staff is courteous, professional and completely at the whim of the customer. Joe was our point-person, and he made sure the entire process -- from selecting the tub, to exploring financing, to installation -- was as smooth and carefree as anyone could want. The company has been in business for 60 years, and it shows. They value their customers and treat them as friends, rather than another sale in an Excel grid. Ordered a pool cover replacement during the pandemic. Order got delayed. Picked it up at their Williston store. Got a gift certificate even though the delay was no fault of theirs. Thanks Mary.

Allen provided us excellent customer service during the installation and initial debugging of our infrared sauna. Allen had to come back to our house two additional times to troubleshoot a manufacturers part defect and then a second time to install a new control panel. Allen was timely, effective, and supportive of the process. We enjoy the sauna every day and recommend the product and Allen as a reputable dealer that wont leave you cold.

They lie about delivery times when ordering. My fiancé and I ordered a hot tub and were told it initially be 4 weeks, that changed to 4-6weeks and now we are told 8 weeks. We are four weeks in and our tub hasn’t even left the factory in California. If I knew the would wait would of been 8+ weeks I would of gone elsewhere. We are now paying on a hot tub we have not used.

I recently purchased a Hot Tub from Allen Pools & Spas and I am very happy with it. I was gone on vacation and as a new owner I was a little unsure how to treat the tub while I was gone. When I got back from vacation the clarity was a little off and I could not get it back to the proper color etc. I called in and spoke to Sierra in the service department. She was super friendly and talked me through the chemicals that I needed to add and spent 2 days working with me. The tub is now back to running in perfect condition. This was a little stressful for me being a new owner and she made is so simple. I was also able to meet her in person when I brought a water sample to the Williston store. Sierra went above and beyond to make sure I got the guidance and help I needed to make sure I got this back to normal. Love my Hot Tub and its a breath of fresh air to get great customer service. Hot tub is the best and great service

When my wife and I started shopping for hot tubs, we didnt know what features or specifications would suit us best, so we were a bit overwhelmed. At first, we decided to compare prices and features on the website of a wholesale box store. We trusted the company and relied on our previous in-store product and service experiences. We selected a seven-person tub based on its perceived value, size, and the $2,000 discount. Upon our purchase, we were informed that the spa would arrive via curbside delivery in three to four weeks. We were excited. I called after the first week to learn more about the delivery process because there wasnt much of anything available to inform us about what we should expect. The store redirected me to the shipping company, who said I needed to call the store to retrieve my shipping number.I waited another week and called the store to get my shipping number who said theyd didnt have the shipping number, so Id have to call the manufacturer. I waited another couple of weeks and didnt hear anything, so I started researching hot tub purchase experiences from big box stores. I read many reviews, good and bad, and ultimately I was swayed by my findings, to venture out to the local hot tub dealers in Chittenden County. Thats when we found Allen Pools & Spa. We walked into their showroom in Williston, Vermont, and Mary Pernicka welcomed us warmly. She listened to me describe what we were looking for and patiently showed us the features and benefits of their available tubs. Our kids were with us, and she encouraged all of us to remove our shoes and sit in various spas. There were some we liked and others we didnt. However, Mary continued to work with us to find the perfect tub. We werent prepared for a water-test that day, and our schedule didnt allow us to return until just before the store closed. She willingly offered to stay past closing to allow us to come back for a private water-test, to which we gladly accepted.We tested the Pulse by Hot Springs, and it was amazing; we loved it. Working with Mary on the purchase details was effortless; she was delightful and made the process easy. Ten days later, we had our tub installed. And from there on out, Mary has been available to help answer my questions to ensure we have the right products and chemicals to make hot tub ownership a breeze. We never took possession of the box store tub, and it took another three weeks and numerous phone calls to get our $7,500 back from them. Hopefully, this review will help make your hot tub purchase experience a bit easier. Skip the box store, and head over to see Mary Pernicka at Allen Pools and Spa. You wont regret it. Every night, we enjoy family time with our kids, hearing about their day at school and learning about whats going on with their freinds, all because we have a hot tub. Great people. This is my second tub, first from this location and Sierra and Dave are a pleasure to work with. If youre looking for a hot tub dont just look at price. You can spend a fortune on electric with a cheaper product or you can look into HotSprings and not see much of an increase in your bill. Its all about quality and you will find that when you speak with the folks at Allen Pools.

If you want a low quality, cheap spa, go somewhere else. Excellent customer service and the best quality spas. Catch them during a sale for some good deals.

We recently purchased a hot tub from Allen Pools and Spas in Williston. When we arrived, we didnt know much about the spas and how they would do outside in the VT winters, but and our sales agent, Dave was great. He walked us through all the different types, features, price points, etc that helped us make the best decision for us. Delivery was prompt (and on the day we requested) and the team gave great instructions on how to setup and maintain the spa. We are very happy with the service we received and the awesome hot tub!

We are on our second Hot Springs grandee. The first one lasted about 10 years before we needed to replace it with a new one last year. Once again we were told about the wonderful 5 year no fault parts and labor gaurantee on new tubs. Much to our surprise after one year our second grandee leaked in December and nearly emptied and completely shut down. Service came quickly and fixed the problem. Much to my surprise I was charged $152 for the repair while the tub was only one year old. BEWARE OF SALES MISREPRESENTING A FIVE YEAR NO COST WARRANTY.This company charged me $80 for travel and $72 for parts for my one year tub under full warranty AND ONLY ONE YEAR OLD. If I bought this from Costco, at least I would have a brand new tub. Not pleased at all.

From the purchase of the hot tub to installation was excellent. Kevin showed up 11/8/18 to install and realized the electrical hook up wasnt long enough. Called service and they couldnt get him back due to scheduling until Monday 11/12. So I called the electricians and they came back same day, solved the issue and I let Allen know it was all set.Next day Friday I get a call from a guy Ed, asking if electric was all set, and I said yes. He said Ill be over in 15 min., needless to say I was delighted. So I hung with Ed and he said Ill get you going and show how to use, etc. As we filled tub, I asked this 71 year old guy why he was here, and modestly said Im the owner. We talked skiing etc. So my point is this company went beyond to make me a happy camper, used the tub for 3 days and Kevin came to do final install. Highly recommend.

How did we get along without this hot tub? Now everyday is like being on vacation! Kevin, and the scheduling and installation team all did a great job and we love this spa.

We purchased a Hotsprings Prodigy hot tub last fall from Allen Pools in Williston and couldnt be happier with it. It sits on a cedar deck and the delivery guys managed to place it without a scratch. They set it up & taught us how to keep the water crystal clear. It is so easy. Review of electric bill reveals only a negligible increase, what a nice surprise. I received my Finnleo Model S870 Infrared Sauna on the 15th of February. Kevin was a big help in making my final decision. After the sauna was installed, the 2 skirts under the benches were not getting hot. I called the store and Kevin told me the guys that installed it would come and take a look. They didnt find anything out of the ordinary, so they let Kevin know that. A few days later, Matthew, the service guy came out, found out that the skirts werent getting power. He called the company and after a false start, the new part arrived. After the new part didnt work, Matthew called the sauna company and between Larry and Matthew, they figured it out and got it working. I was extremely impressed with Matthew in particular for not giving up and finding the solution. I knew this would be taken care of and it was. My sauna is now working 100% and its fabulous. I would highly recommend Allen Pools and Spas for any sauna purchase. Looking forward to many relaxing years in my Finnleo Sauna.

I want to thank the staff at Allen Pools and Spas. Kevin Stockwell was amazing with my crazy placement and delivery issues. He and Megan Gangone were so accommodating with my ever changing needs. I love my Hot Spot TX. The delivery team provide me understandably direction and made me feel confident with my new tub. They also get kudos for driving from Rutland to Westford in a snow storm!!
