Symphony Shades has excellent products and great service. We bought light filtering, double cell shades primarily to provide extra insulation in our combo living/ dining space (12 windows) but also not to block out the light when used during the day. We have in the dining room, corner windows that were very tricky to measure so the shades would not conflict with each other but still provide maximum coverage.I worked closely with Andrew to make sure the measurements were correct. He was a tremendous help sending out samples, e-mailing back and forth, and helpful phone calls. The end product was exactly what we were looking for: quality materials, great fit and look, and straitforward installation. I would certainly recommend Symphony Shades to anyone looking for great quality and customer service.

Ordered a replacement shade for one that had been in our apartment when we bought it. Shade arrived in perfect condition and, although I didnt need to use the installation kit as it was a replacement, it fit perfectly and easily.Absolutely delighted and will happily recommend and use this company again.

I was looking to darken my bedroom and a bit skeptical that room darkening shades would do the trick given that there would likely be a halo of light coming around the edges of the shade on the window. I ordered the double cell shades and installed them on the inside of the window frame. The shades themselves and the top and bottom of them do not let any light in at night. Light comes on either side the shades but if I dont close the curtains that light is blocked. The room is nice and dark and I am very happy with my purchase!

Great company and all made in USA Order was delivered when promised and we love the shades. We tried the top down - bottom up version for our bedroom and are enjoying the extra flexibility. I am going to order some more for a couple of other rooms

I have ordered shades from Symphony Shades several times and have had a consistently good experience. For this order, I was notified that the fabric was no longer available but they brought in a fabric for my order that was very similar. Then they expedited my order both in manufacturing and shipping so that I received it in time to take and hang in our rental. Thank you so much for the excellent service! The new blinds look amazing and are the easiest blinds to install I have ever purchased.

Easy to use website, great followup and high quality products. We originally purchased our shades 21 years ago had a need to replace two of them due to the south-facing windows and a lack of good repair resources in our area. The color is still available and we have exact matches to our other windows. We have a lot of windows and did not want to buy new shades just because of 2 that needed to be replaced. They are classic colors it was so much less expensive to replace the two instead of starting over . Would definitely continue purchasing from Symphony!

As a remodeling contractor, window shades are often one of the last items on the list. However, I have installed these shades in many of my projects and they have not only performed flawlessly, but they look remarkably good and my clients rave about them. We are using these blinds for our house in the mountains. We bought the side tracks to reduce energy usage in the winter, but also to help keep the house cool on the occasional hot days during the summer that seem to occur more frequently now. Since it gets cool at night, the insulation the shades provide during the afternoons on the hot days has allowed us to comfortably avoid the need for air conditioning! There are lots of colors to choose from and customer service has been great.

I really hate to write this review! I have used Symphony Shades before and I really like the product. Recently I wanted to replace two of their shades with room-darkening ones. I tried to reach them by phone multiple times. According to their outgoing message I was to leave a message and they would call me. They never did. In order to take advantage of a sale I ordered online and ended up with something I dont want. I have always ordered top up/bottom down shades in the past and thats what I wanted. I thought thats what I was getting. I emailed my problem and to ask about having the original shades cut to fit in different sized windows. I got an answer to that one that told me I could return the old shades if they were more than 3/8 smaller and they could cut them for a fee. Okay. I emailed again and asked how I should ship them and also reiterated my displeasure about not being able to reach them and about how disappointed I was that their customer service isnt good. Ive never heard any more. I am really disappointed because Ive had good experiences in the past going back over 10 years. All I want is some assistance and some acknowledgment! I am stuck with four sets of blinds that dont do what I want them to do!! Im willing to pay a bit to remedy the problems but I cant get them to respond. Its remarkably frustrating.

Yes I am a team member here at Symphony, but am also a client which gives me some insight into what goes into the shades and the team behind the shades. My shades have been in my home for 9 years and they are still going strong. I got top down/bottom up because I live on a busy street and love that I can have privacy and light. In terms of responsiveness, yep, we are a small manufacturing company which means we all wear a bunch of hats so sometimes we dont return calls as quickly as we maybe should, but we do care deeply about every client and work hard to make sure every client is getting the best service possible.

Symphony Shades has an extremely well made product and also extraordinary customer service! Symphony shades were installed in our home in Florida 23 years ago on several large windows. A month or so ago one of the brackets holding the shade broke and no one locally had a replacement. I messaged Symphony, explained the problem and sent pictures of the brackets. I received a response the same day, saying the brackets now used were slightly different but they might work. Dave from Customer Service shipped four brackets to me at no cost (even thought I offered to pay) and they worked like a charm!These windows face directly east and catch the strong Florida morning sun...they are still going strong, even though they are raised and lowered at least once each day. I am recommending this company to anyone who needs one of their products and will certainly use them if I need coverings on other windows in my home. ANOTHER huge plus - products are made in the USA!! Thank you, Symphony Shades.
