We took our our 2014 Equinox for brake repairs. The men who replaced all four of our brakes were truly professional. We will recommend them to all of our friends. And, the price was wonderful.... Because of their professionalism we feel safe again on the roads here in CT. Oh yes... the price was right. : )

A good no nonsense shop. Made an appointment, brought in the car, was informed of a 15 min delay. They kept me informed and I could watch them work on the TV in the waiting room. They gave me a slight discount making my oil change only 26 dollars. Good deal. No nonsense, talking me in to more work or tacking on little fees. I pass 2 other auto shops on my way to this meineke, since I prefer this kind of treatment

My daughter drives a 2009 matchbox car that is beginning to show its age. For the second time a portion of the exhaust rusted through to breaking apart. I expected to be purchasing a $1000-$1500 new(er) exhaust system to keep the car running (quietly). I was impressed and grateful to only pay a fraction of what I thought and the job was done in a short time. Thank you to all the staff at Meineke for being great at what you do.

We arrived when they first opened their doors, in the morning, with a big screw in our tire. The manager took our information and within a half an hour, we were driving out of the parking lot with peace of mind, knowing that the puncture was properly fixed. I went to this business because of the reviews stating that they were fair and reasonable. I’ve been going to my mechanic for years and because I moved I wanted to try a new place . Their price they gave me to fix my car was $1800 and I went to my mechanic and did the same work that they offered for $600. They are definitely ripping off their customers.

Meineke never seems to fail. They recently redid their waiting area and its really nice! They make sure to take care of their customers and they try their hardest to accommodate you.

Yesterday July 1, 2021 I had a tire issue in which I had to get a new tire from being bread be a wire hanger. Inspection/diagnosis was completed quickly with full explanation of costs and options. Some parts had to be sourced to complete the job. They kept after it and scheduled the job in quickly at my convenience when the parts arrived. Happy with the work they did.

Both leaf spring shackles let go on my 2004 silvarado. Dale got me in quickly and his team fixed the problem that day. Dale worked with me on the price as it was a labor intensive job. I could not be more appreciative of their service.

Went to just get a simple oil change and they ended up looking all through my vehicle and giving me a quote for all the fixings i needed and I was honestly so stressed out about my car until they told me they could fix me all up for a pretty expensive price but still I’m so happy it’s just going to get done and they made it so easy for me . And they’re all so friendly as I’m an anxious person so it was great .

Save your time and go to a small shop. The guy quoted $900+ to replace a radiator and thermostat. I took it to a reputable small shop and got it done for $580. The parts he quoted were double the cost from what you can find online and double the cost from what I got quoted from a small shop. Best part was he gave a $98 discount for Customer satisfaction.. What a joke.

Always affordable pricing for regular maintenance. Friendly staff that understand your situations, online and mobile app appointment schedulers. Nice bay window in case you want to watch your car as they work on it. It may look like a small location but has plenty of knowledgeable people to help you out. Free WiFi for those who need to work while they wait or want to pass the time browsing Reddit. Lastly for those with nothing to do there is magazines, a TV with cable and what appears to be a private area if you want to wait alone.

Really great service. Very easy to talk to on the phone and in person and they are all very nice there. Got a muffler delete done and it sounds amazing. Better than I imagined it would sound, I would recommend them to anyone who needed not only exhaust done on their car but any other services as well.

The people at Meineke are second to none with their combined automotive experience, customer relations and, great overall value in both parts and service. They communicate well to customers regardless of the costumer auto knowledge the process or issues with the vehicle. I know this well because Ive been going to them now for over a year. Definitely not your typical franchise auto repair shop.

In a nutshell- Didn’t get the service I was supposed to and got headache that wasn’t supposed to.I took the synthetic blend high mileage oil change that included few inspections that i badly needed.-After inspection, they told me that my engine has major oil leak and need to be repaired immediately. So, i spent next couple of days at different mechanics and everyone confirmed that it was a oil spill that Meineke did when changing the filter (what loss of time and money!)- They didn’t fill up my washer fluid and engine coolant that was included in the oil change and most importantly, they didn’t even bother telling me that!!When I called about it, their answer was that-- they are pretty swamped!!!This is not service i expected. Quite dissapointed and exhausted due to their misinformation!!

Spent $643.12 on a service at 132,933 mi & had to spend $654.77 with a competitor to get the same service at 139,182 mi when it was determined Meineke didnt actually do what they charged me for. Contacted corporate who just had the store call me which yielded no resolution. Havent heard back since he said hed escalate it for me almost a month ago.EDIT: Already reached out to customer service via webpage before leaving this review, they had store manager call who was to escalate but never heard back. Tried the phone number provided in response, she took notes and also assured escalation...

Cv axle snapped in half and they replaced it along with other front end work same day I had it brought to them on a very short notice for a really good price, definitely going there from now on.

Great place for a tune up!

I was told the oil change would be $35 plus tax and it cost $85.41. They charged 30$ for the cheapest air filter and dint discuss it with me I was robbed and lied to the guys never had their masks on properly and were I and out of my vechile. If I get paid because of your employers not wearing proper masks and one just had a bandana I am suing I videos the screen of improper mask wearing in and out of my vechile. Your a trip off and a bunch of liers I am yelling everyone e what shady place you ate and how you close down. I am making a complaint and sending video to the state because your not using proper covid precautions.

I booked this appointment online (so convenient!) specifically based on positive reviews and was beyond impressed. Nate and the team provide an outstanding experience. Professional and warmly courteous, thorough, timely. I felt I was in good hands the entire time. I had a tire rotation and alignment, and oil change. No hard up-selling of services. Nate provided an estimate on part needing replacement- which I will definitely have done there. VERY comfortable, home-like waiting area; SUPER separate playroom for kids- don’t have any but I had to walk through this inviting space. Overall great experience and will absolutely return, as well as continue to highly recommend.

People there are very nice and they take great care of the waiting room. I love that I can get work done while waiting for my car and there is free coffee. Only thing was when they opened my glove box they left dirt marks on the front of my glove box. Not the biggest thing but overall highly recommend this place. The secretary there is very nice :)

Brought in for an oil change and exhaust knocking on something. They found a slightly bent crossmember they removed and straightened. Problem solved. Friendly, efficient and professional. Dale and his crew are a pleasure to deal with.

I have an unusual car and it was a task to find the tires for it. They worked diligently to find tires, didn’t charge me an arm and a leg, and had the car ready in a day. We will use them again in the future for sure.

4 months later and Still having issues with meineke bc they stripped my oil pan’s threads and are trying to avoid settling. I’ve called their customer care and sent emails and they don’t call back and recurrently trying to brush it off. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I went there because of their 5 stars rating to do my car’s high mileage service; changing belts, filters, spark plugs, and oil change. They finished the work on time and with good prices. I had a hiccup with the fuel pump right after Service (wasn’t there before), but they ran a fuel pump pressure and diagnosed other stuff for free. No the car run smoothly. 5 Stars!

They are way over priced $350 for a 02 sensor that I couldnt find anywhere else for even half of that most were $25 to $30 they put it in at my request and when it other codes came up and it did not fix the problem they pulled my car out told me it didnt fix it and handed me a sheet with 8 different codes that I had no idea what they were. There was no offer of looking further into the problem that day or any other day. Not the first time i had a had experience either had full exhaust system done once again for a ridiculous price and 1 week later had to bring it to another garage and have them weld part of it up because it was falling down. I will never return there again and i urge you to find somewhere else.

Had a problem with my daughters tire and came from new haven to Willimantic. My daughter attends college there. It was a Saturday afternoon at 3:30 by the time I got to the shop. I called the shop and they told me to come on down. (even though they closed at 4)When I got there the reception was warm and they were in the process of mopping the customer waiting area. Extremely clean location!!The staff got my tire replaced and me back on the road quickly and even gave me a coupon to apply to the other tire that we will be replacing soon.Great experience and a great staff that really cares. This is a really great shop. Nate is fantastic. I went for a routine oil change and tire rotation and they took me out to the bay to show me that my brakes needed to be changed, and explained what to look for to indicate that they needed to be done.While I know what to look for, I greatly appreciated the effort and transparency, as well as the education.Even though I could probably get some services done slightly cheaper else where, (their prices are already fairly competitive for the area) I will come here every time because I trust them and their honesty is worth everything to me.

If you are in a hurry to get your oil changed, this place is quick and they schedule you for a 30 minute slot but have never waited that long yet! Courteous staff and waiting area is comfortable with a TV and magazines to browse through if you want. Prices are reasonable also and if they find a problem with your vehicle they will let you know and give you an estimate if you request one. Very Happy with Meineke service.

Honestly they are the best. The staff there not only help me when something is wrong with one of my vehicles they work with me and help me understand what needs to be fixed. they just do a great job.

My job makes it difficult to schedule and keep appointments for oil changes, as I never know where Ill be and I need one about every 3 weeks. Nate and Tiffany have made it really easy to get me in when they can and I really appreciate it! The waiting room and restroom are always very clean and comfortable which is a nice change from most garages.

Got my brakes and exhaust fix inexpensively

I have been going to the same shop for years now, so I decided to do something different. I needed my brakes done and after some research I decided to go here. I can honestly say it was one of my better choices. As I waited for my car I noticed people coming in and the staff talking to them on a first name basis. Just that alone really stood out to me. Also the job was done in a timely fashion at a very decent price. Also being busy I could find a dog sitter so i brought her along and even she had a good time. So highly recommend and i will be going back!!

I go to school at Eastern so Ive been coming to this Meineke for a little over a year now. Nate and the rest of the staff have always been helpful and polite, theyve also been fairly reasonable with their prices. I always get the $20 oil change special and when I need more substantial work done on my vehicle theyve been pretty quick in their turnaround. Theyve also been kind enough to give me written repair estimates that some other shops charge for. Overall a high quality, high class shop.

I don’t know much about cars and needed help with the tire pressure as the light on my dashboard Kept popping up. I called and was told that they could take care of it.
