Wish I could give them a lower rating! They lied about my return and claimed policy as they reasoning. I return the car when I was supposed to yet still get charged for an extra day! They are useless at this branch.
Absolutely the rudest rental car compay I have ever dealt with .Will not use or recommend them again.Sometime plans changed I ended up returning the car to a different hertz location, 3 days later I get emails stating they are calling the police looking for the car .Its much easier to be rude instead of looking in the system and seeing the car had been returned already .Do not rent a car here .
Hertz counter and Airport closed at 5p leaving no access to key drop for rental due by 6p.
I had reservations with enterprise when I showed up to pick the car up I was told by the assistant manager that they always give reservations even though they do NOT have cars to fill the reservation. I was very upset so I called hertz the lady had many vehicles they was cheaper nicer and had a great experience. After I took the vehicle back I had my deposit back in 2 days. I would def recommend them and def will use them in future.
I got a car here about a little over month ago for the week so I could go visit family in Baltimore. The service was a little slower but that was because manager was training a new employee. They were both very nice to me and explained everything very well (unlike other car rental places I’ve been to) I will definetely pick Hertz again next time I need a rental car to accommodate my needs.
Excellent service here car was very clean Wil was very courteous and professional I definitely will be renting exclusively with Hertz in Montoursville
No one ever answers the phone or returns messages here. They also dont offer boosters for your kids but still bill you for them despite calling to disclose they dont offer them. Appreciated the headache up but why not remove it from our bill instead of charging. Had to wait in hold with customer service for quite sometime to get it removed. This center is not run real well.
This is a good place to rent a car from; simple process and prices are not outrageous
They post hours but no one is at the desk during the hours posted. Instead, during turn-in hours they service vehicles at the wash and leave a sign, but without the ability to call anyone. So if your contract is supposed to turn in by a certain time, try to get there a day before so you can wait.
Do not ever rent from hertz. Rented a car from the Williamsport, Pa location and my original drop off was to Omaha, Ne, however, I was told I would be able to modify my drop off to Kearney, Ne airport at the time of pick up by the manager (Shelly) at the Williamsport location and that there would be no issues doing so. So I went to go pick up the car and indeed modified the pick up to Kearney, Ne. When I went to go drop off at the location she told me to go to, I then found out that there was no drop off location at the airport. I called multiple of hertz 1800 numbers and no one could help me because I picked up the car at a hertz licensee and according to them they cant see my contract because of that. Everyone I had spoken gave me a different explanation of what to do. One woman said that the only thing i could do was to drive it to to Grand Island, Ne which is 40 mins from Kearney and if I were to drop it off there extra fees will be added on to the original amount. She was also extremely rude to me and ended up hanging up on me! Another man I had spoke with told me that there was another location I could drop it off to in Kearney but they were closed on the weekends. He gave me instructions to take it there and put the keys into the glove box and then lock the car but again I would have to pay extra fees for that. Why would i have to pay extra fees for a mistake that was made by another person. I ended up taking it to the location the man told me to on Central ave in Kearney and saw there was an after hours number to call. So I did. I spoke with yet another very rude man who told me I was not allowed to leave the car there. I was also told if I did they would charge me additional fees for the days it would take them to figure out the situation. He also insinuated I was lying about my contract stating no one at a hertz location would ever allow a contract where the car would go from Williamsport to Kearney. So I kept the car and waited until Monday to contract the person who originally made the contract because her location was of course closed over the weekend. I called Monday morning and she told me to take it to the Central ave location and she would personally call them so that they would know I was coming and that no additional fees would be added at all. No apologies were made from her either and she of course couldnt admit to her mistake. So when I get to the Central ave location I spoke with the same man I did on the after hours number and again he was extremely rude. He told me he was not dealing with this situation and that I had to drive it to Omaha, Ne which is 3 HRS from Kearney! Shelly from Williamsport hadnt even called them to let them know I was going to be there! The only man that was attempting to help me was a younger gentleman by the name of Connor. He attempted to contact Shelly. After numerous times of calling, he finally got ahold of her and she said she would fax the modified contract to him to show that Kearney was indeed my drop off location. Even though Kearney was stated right on top of my contract. While waiting for the contract to be faxed, the other rude man told me that corporate will charge me additional fees because of this mistake. I told him Shelly the manager at Williamsport told me no fees will be added. He still said corporate will add fees regardless. Again, I should not have to pay extra fees for a mistake that was made by SHELLY, A MANAGER, from where my contract was made. Finally after all of that the contract was faxed and I finally was on my way. I will NEVER rent from hertz again. This was supposed to be a time to see my family whom I never get to see because of distance and I had to waste several hours of my time dealing with not only multiple extremely rude people, but a situation that should have never even happened in the first place. I should have no additional fees added to my credit card for a mistake made by someone who clearly doesnt know how to do their job.
