Scott completely updated our landscaping, installed landscape lighting, fixed some drainage issues in our front yard, installed front porch rails, and gave our front door a new paint job. He was incredibly easy to work with. He’s very knowledgeable without being pushy, and he really worked with us to help us achieve what we had in mind. He always showed up when he said he would, and his prices were very reasonable. We were so pleased with how everything turned out. We will definitely be using him for our future outdoor projects!

We contracted Virginia Outdoor Restoration to replace an aging wooden deck. Scott patiently talked us through several options and continued to modify our designs to find a solution that exceeded even what we thought was possible on our budget. Scott didnt just build us a typical stone patio, he totally transformed our backyard space with a multi-tiered patio including surrounding garden beds. His attention to detail and meticulous craftsmanship cant be overstated (he even matched the angles of the protruding breakfast nook when constructing the patio steps and perimeter). Normally Im the type to do things myself because Ive found a hired hand doesnt seem to care about my home as much as I do, but Scott is the diamond in the rough who wont stand for less than perfect (I personally watched him select each paver with intention and match up side-by-side retaining wall block patterns before carefully placing each with precision levelness, and occasionally saw him undue rows that didnt look just right after being placed together). Its for this reason that I am asking Virginia Outdoor Restoration back to build a fire pit area and water feature. Id recommend them to anyone.

Virginia Outdoor Restoration did a phenomenal job on this pergola addition to our existing patio space in the backyard!We bought this home a few years ago and inherited a boring and standard concrete slab with brick border that we were leaning towards ripping up and starting over with a fresh and modern hardscaped space.Scott worked up a wonderful design and convinced us to not abandon the original space, but to just transform it with this beautiful custom pergola that sits overtop. Now, with all the money we saved by using the existing patio space, we are going to reinvest that into a patio expansion to create more living area outside in the backyard. Of course we will get these pros to do that job as well!!Couldnt be happier with the meticulous planning and design that went into this job and the professional results when it was time to execute. Scott Dameron responded to an email I sent out on our neighborhood community board. We were in search of someone who could remove the rotting landscape timbers that edged our gravel driveway and replace them with river rock.When I contacted him he was able to come within a few days to give an estimate and was very impressive from the start. He listened to what we wanted, gave us options and opinions when we asked but didnt try to up-sell us, and was very flexible and supportive when we went back and forth with him on adjustments to the original design. His estimate was very reasonable compared to other companies we had talked to.We were not able to be at home on the days that he worked but he kept us informed of his progress and we are very pleased with the result. Several of our neighbors reported to us during the time he was working that they were so impressed with how meticulous he was in everything he did.We would recommend Scott highly and will definitely call on him again for all of our landscaping needs.

Scott did a great job! He was very knowledgeable and personable and was able to do the work quickly. He gave many options for low maintenance shrubs for my front bed and even gave me the option to do it myself to save money. Highly recommend!

This company is outstanding. Scott is a fine gentlemen that honors his word and work. He does what he says he will do and for the stated price. Someone you can trust to do what is best for your home.He offered suggestions on our landscaping plan that made it much better. Put in drains where I did not think we could. Really did drain our swamp. Put down rock and mulch to provide a permanent solution.By the end we were letting him pick the plantings and extent of the mulch beds.He did our project in the hot sun and never lost his sense of humor or focus on getting us perfect back yard.Use him, you will not be sorry.

My husband and I had Scott perform landscape renovations as well as install new beds around the foundation of the house. The renovation work included removal and/or relocation of old shrubs and installing new selections after amending the soils. In addition, he designed and completed a hardscape project which consisted of a small brick patio at the base of our deck and brick pavers leading to a grass area in the back of the house.We were very pleased with the work. We particularly appreciated that Scott listens to what your thoughts are in design and plant selections while still giving his professional advice.
