The Williamsburg staff is very professional, punctual, and thorough in their delivery of service.

Sylvan has such a systematic and individualized learning program, I am so grateful for how it helps my children. The fact that they can motivate them to want to come even after a day of school is amazing!

This place is fantastic! would recommend to anyone. My child has both experienced public and private schools. This learning facility is flexible with both our school and home schedule. I highly recommend that no one use this service. Children are placed with groups of children of different ages, all working on different subjects. The teachers and staff fail to communicate with parents about any progress or lack there of. Homework was sent home done incorrectly 5 times, while a teacher “watched and checked my child’s work. I hired a teacher with a masters degree for slightly less than what it paid Sylvan and for one on one attention. All work is done on iPads and with some sort of licensed program they use. No individual attention or programs are used to help students. I also complained regularly to the individual who ran the site, no changes were made. The only time i got a response was when i asked for a refund. This place is insanely expensive and you get no results. DO NOT USE THEM.

I heard of Sylvan years ago and never thought I would use their services. I had assumed incorrectly it was for sub-par students to achieve grade-level milestones. While Sylvan can certainly help struggling students, they are also wonderful in helping good students reach even greater levels of understanding.My teen daughter recently completed SAT Prep course and I couldnt be happier. After signing her up, the program turned out to be more than I expected. She had an initial practice test with complete analysis and online tools to help her with the exact material and questions missed. She has 20 hours of classroom instruction (10 math/10 language) and then another personalized assessment and online tools given after those 20 hours so she can improve again. Her actual SAT was yesterday and I cant wait to see the improvement. She went into the test without anxiety and returned home afterwards with confidence.I was so happy with how things went with my older daughter I enrolled as second child for summer enrichment in grammar and writing. My daughter loved the tutors and did not mind going, which is saying a lot for a 15-year-old. She is in advanced 10th grade English this year and believes her summer help pushed her ahead. In addition, she attends for Algebra 2 tutoring with Kevin this fall. Kevin is a very knowledgeable math tutor and explains concepts in an easily understandable way to my teen.The facility is spacious, clean, quiet, and ripe for studying. The staff is very kind and Deborah DeJesus is wonderful. While it is not cheap, I consider Sylvan a good investment in my childrens future.

Sylvan Learning Center of Williamsburg staff provide professional, and patient tutoring service. The staff tailor the tutoring sessions to meet the student learning needs. Parents are provided feedback every step of the way, not just when it time to renew sessions for your child.

If your child need help in school Sylvan is 100% worth it!! My son has been attending Sylvan for writing and reading and he has greatly improved! He enjoys going to his classes everyday and has gained more self confidence in his writing and reading skills. I am amazed at how much he has improved in such a short period. The teachers there are absolutly wonderful at what they do and I am very greatful.

Its always great to have tutors who understand your weakness and turn it into strengths. SYLVAN IS THE GREATEST!!!!!
