My wife was hit by a person who had the general for insurance. Police report says it was their fault so I assumed we would be reimbursed for our vehicle... first thing was I had to do all the leg work, then they say 10,000.00 is the cap on this policy my vehicle is totaled was worth more than 10,000.00 so Im coming up short but after 4 months of trying to get them to respond I gave up and said Ill settle for 10,000.00 do they send me a release form I need to sign...I didnt like what it says so I paid 2 different attorney to review it they both said that they wouldnt sign this release because of the way its written it would make me liable for all the other claims from the accident. They refuse to change the wording at all so I dont get a thing from them....in my opinion it a crooked company...
Clean polite and experienced
My wife was in a car accident. The person who was at fault has The General for car insurance. They call us telling us that we have to do all this stuff to get the car repaired because they dont have an office in the area. Why is that my problem? On top of that the claims handler, Jeremy, is impossible to get a response from. They estimate everything at the bare minimal so we have to be in contact with them plus the care rental company. We are still waiting for our car seat refund. This company is a joke.
