Nothing but a horrible experience here. Not only did we seem like burdens coming in to prepare our taxes, but it took over a week for them to actually finish. Only after we argued with both our tax preparer and manager over funds we “owed” when in reality we didn’t owe anything. If we didn’t argue or fight with them we would be paying an unnecessary amount of money to the IRS. We also were not given any of our original documents back. Even after asking for them.

My tax specialist Laura F., at the Wildomar location, is absolutely amazing! She is very caring and explains everything very thoroughly. Very informative! Thank you Laura so much for helping us do our taxes 2 years in a row now!

Shopping around for value. I feel my taxes were not that complicated. And a charge of $40 additional because I have an HSA? Not cool.

This location called me to do my taxes since I’ve done it in the past with them so I told them that I’m not interested and I’m going to do it online myself through turbo tax and they told me they would give me a free quote and all I have to do was drop off my w2 and the rest of my documents and the lady told me if I’m happy with the amount I’ll be getting then that’s when I can decide weather I would proceed and if I do it’ll cost me $183. So I drop off my documents and they decide to call me three days later and tells me that the price will be $325 to file taxes and also to give me a rough quote I’ll have to pay them $59. They are a bunch of liars and when I went to pick up my stuff the manager didn’t even apologize and just told me have a great day and was giving me attitude. The manger needs to be fired. Also if you use turbo tax it’ll be literally about 25% of what they charge u vs filing with HR block, so please be aware and save hundreds of dollars by filing somewhere else or filing yourself.

This was my very first time with H&R Block. I worked with Cheryl at the Murrieta location on Clinton Keith. She was amazing! She was just the sweetest and super friendly. She answered all of my question to where I could understand (something my previous tax account was not able to do). I loved working with her and will definitely be requesting her next year. And she gave me a discount for being a first-time client! Michael checked me out and he was super friendly as well.

I call to get just a price quote and instead of saying sure here’s what we charge for what you need filed, I get asked my name, phone number, email address, where I’ve filed my taxes in the past, if I own a home, if I’m a student, do I need to itemize, have I lived in another state and what state that was.... good grief ridiculous. What’s next, they want a stool sample in order to give me a price quote?

Went to pick up a new card wasnt even in there more than 5 minutes...

It’s a straightforward process and easy for me to let a professional walk me through the process each year without me trying to guess if I’m filling things out correctly with all the tax changes. I feel confident coming here.

Great customer service

Went here to file an amendment, shortly after they closed and I was never able to get my documents back. Tried calling other locations with no luck

Cheryl Fredrickson did an amazing job on my taxes. She was very knowledgeable and really took her time and asked the right questions to fully understand my tax situation. I will definitely be coming back to her next year and will refer my friends and family to her.

Horrible customer service, added more stress and pressure for 2 older people trying to get their taxes done and they couldnt have cared any less. Please try a private accountant and let these chain locations retire to the garbage heap where they belong.I called the location ahead of time to check if I could get my grandparents taxes done without them present, as they are immobile. I was put through to a call center, where I asked if I could speak to this location, and they said no, but that it wouldnt be a problem to get the taxes done if I brought the 1099s.When I checked in for my appointment at this location I again mentioned that I brought the forms to get my grandparents taxes done, and a blonde lady walked around the corner behind the receptionist and rudely jumped in the conversation saying it wasnt possible without them present. I told her what they said on the phone and she dismissively said well thats just someone who answers the phone. Gross.
