I traveled there to adopt my dog and that was the best decision! They helped me with all my questions and concerns, and the waiting time to finally take my dog home was not long.Meet tallula my partner lol she loves cuddling with me on bed and long walks. She is super sweet and loves to play outside with the ball also she loves car rides and watching movies with me 😊thank you all

Got my wonderful kitty cat and our giant Flemish rabbit from here. Overtime, the two are best friends. Ive been adopting pets here for years and will never stop. Staff is great and its amazing the perfectly sweet and wonderful pets people give away. Humans are really, really stupid.

This is a busy shelter. The staff are very friendly and helped by many volunteers. There is a pets supply shop in the lobby. All items are donated with proceeds going to subsidized costs.Dont be discouraged if you find a fur baby with holds. My best friend and fur baby had two holds before me, it was meant to be.

What I appreciate about this shelter are their strict guidelines in adopting a pet. Especially for dogs. Animals are a commitment and they rely on our attention, care, how we treat them. Responsible pet owners will have no problem with these rules. Vaccines, registration, spay and neuter, and proper care are reviewed here. I really appreciate that kind of dedication and although I didnt get my dogs here I truly enjoy this top notch shelter.

This a not a non kill shelter if you drop your animals off here and nobody wants them they do kill them

They treat there volunteers like they dont exist. The people who get paid there act like they are better then everyone else.

The wife and I believe in adopting a rescue animals first. The staff was friendly and helpful in showing us some dogs for consideration. Sadly it was not in the cards this time around. Check the shelters website directly as 2nd and 3rd party listings may not have accurate updates. Puppies and kittens go fast to their forever homes quickly.

My experience with the shelter has been very good I got my dog and my kitten in wildomar they are both great fur babies ! My advice check with the website to see who is available understand the terms holding, adoption hold, ect obviously when the animals arrive they must be observed for a certain period of time . You should also go early or call before you go to make sure the animal you want adopt is available . When you go in go in like you mean business like you are serious not someone thinking about adopting otherwise they may pass you bye when you are looking for help . Overall my complaint is I would like to see better description in the listing are they at the shelter or at a pet co location ect . I like to know how many months old or years some just say adult . I wish more animals were sterilized ready to be going to a forever home the same day cause our work schedules dont work out to pick up later after sterilization . So we try to get a furbaby ready to go . Ps do your license over the phone too much trouble online . Overall Im satisfied .

Very good that the pound exists but the quality of dogs is very poor unless obviously you get a newborn pup. Very disappointed

Went their to look at the q animals and we were just going for fun to pet animals and make their days brighter but we found this dog that had an amazing personality and we instantly fell in love with him and we are going to adopt

Yesterday we lost our dogs! They never answer me, when she finally answer she hung up the phone!! Is incredible the bad customer service !! I am really disappointed!

Not much attention to customer service

I just moved to the area.. this is the closest animal shelter to my house and I went in to surrender my cats and the blonde lady was rude and insensitive. Told me to have animal control to pick up my babies (even though if I did they would be euthanized).. very disappointed and sad they could not help me as I did online research and reviews said this was the best place to surrender pets as they seemed to care mostly about adopting out the animals.

We have had 2 of our dogs over the past 3 years put down, 1 of old age White lab Magic. The other due to cancer Chocolate lab Houston, miss them terribly. The entire staff are amazing and caring, the 2 people who are in the department of euthanasia are so very kind and with Houston even the female employee became somewhat emotional as my husband and I were sobbing. Thanks to all involved with this facility and God bless the work you do!

They might be great when it comes to adoption and taking care of the animals. But they do not work with you at all when it comes to getting your animal back. I offered to work at their shelter for free to pay to get my dog back, but they wouldnt even consider it, even if i came up with some of the money and worked the rest off. My dog was taken and i wasnt aware of her being taken. All in All, other animal shelters work with you on the fees and what not, but Leaf wont budge. I askedcif i could at least say goodbye to her and they wouldnt even let me do that or see her.Best advice, dont ever lose your animal to them w/out the full funds, cause they will keep your animal .

Although I had to put my dog down a few years ago due to lymphoma, the staff that did the euthanization where very respectful and informative about the process. R.I.P Annie 01/24/2010♡

Their website payment system is BROKEN! Pages are NOT SECURE and they make you jump through hoops just to get to a payment screen that charges $3.75 CONVENIENCE FEE???? On a $20 license? Are you insane? Thats nearly 20% surcharge for what turned out to be a not-so-easy pay system. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
