Good haircuts, and polite stylists. The app and check in system is terrible. Today was my third time, and each time it has gotten progressively worse. I was quoted a 10:18 check in time. I arrived at 10:20. A haircut was just beginning with my scheduled stylist, the app still said 1018 for my check in, but the scheduling board said I would wait for 21 minutes. The haircut was finished in about that much time, and then a walk in was ushered to the chair, The stylist and manager made an excuse about backwards scheduling, and this was at 10:45. The board updated to say my scheduled time was now 25 more minutes, the app still said 1018. Will not be back.

I have taken my two boys(ages 1 &4) here for about 6 months now. We wait for Delilah, she’s amazing! So patient & really is great at her job. She’s easy to talk to and I actually look forward to getting their hair cut. We will miss her when we move away as it’s hard to find someone you trust with your kids hair! Keep up the great work!

My grandson is self concious of his large head and gets made fun of at school. I asked the stylist to leave the top and she basically gave her a burr cut. Unfortuately we have to wait a couple of months for it to grow back. I just wish they would listen and give a cut you ask for. She claimed she barely cut any but the blonde photo was a week ago. Horrible cut

Just wanted to clean up my hair and get a trim. Not a lot needed to be done and yet- I get home and notice how bad my haircut actually is. $20 for a bad haircut. $5 tip. Krystle doesn’t know how to cut hair. Now I’m on my way to get my hair fixed elsewhere and get it shaved when it’s what I tried to avoid. Disappointed won’t be going back.

I showed up early before opening to get my haircut, being in a rush and all. I was the first customer to check in on their touchscreen. I asked the barber to give me a quick cut and shampoo so I could head straight to work. My barber delivered as expected, plus the shampoo came with a nice head massage, all in a reclining massaging chair. Overall experience was decent, the entire process was no more than 25 minutes. I did have a few hairs behind the ear, which is why its not a 5 star experience. If its early and Im in a rush, I could see myself going back.

So why at sports clips do they have the employees wearing masks to ensure safety but they are not having customers wear masks to protect everyone also. People are in close proximity to each other and their hair cutter and I know they have a lot people coming and going all day long... I guess I just feel it’s a very minimal ask to request that everybody wear a mask during their haircut for 20 min if it keeps everybody safer. I feel bad for the employees because they are the ones that are most exposed and when there isn’t an atmosphere of safety from the time you walk in it just undermines the whole idea of being safe. Everybody has seen the gif about not peeing on other people and wearing a mask is paramount to wearing pants... but it’s very true! SPORTS CLIPS DO THE RIGHT THING AND ASK PEOPLE TO WEAR A MASK... if they don’t have one just give them one!!’

This was by far the worst experience Ive had at sports clips. The lady that cut my hair didnt even attempt to engage in a conversation. Im not a talker but I like when they actually attempt to have a convo. When I signed in it said 54 min wait I got there at 1612 and it was 1725 before I got called. The lady cutting my hair then informed me they charge an extra $5 for super shaver which she claimed they started doing since they reopened but thats a lie cause I didnt get charged it last time. Which was after the reopen. She didnt even show me the cut after it was done just asked how it felt no mirror to see the back or anything.

I recently opted to switch to Sports Clips over Great Clips, despite their significantly higher price, due to some of the extra amenities they offer (for an even higher price). I gave them a try for 4-5 consecutive haircuts. Following is a breakdown of my thoughts.Extra Amenities:I’ll start with this since it is truly the only thing that differentiates Sports Clips from any run of the mill haircut place. For roughly $21, they will shampoo your hair after the cut to wash the excess out while resting a hot towel over your face. Saves you the trouble from needing to shower immediately, allowing you to continue your day without being bothered. Other services for even more up-charges are not worth the money or even your time. Any variant of the “MVP” is not worth the money, even when they’re running a special. The only difference, for an extra $6-7, being that they turn on the same chair you sit in anyway to be shampooed, to treat you with a very weak vibrating sensation. They “massage” your face, which would be more accurately described as “jab fingers into your cheeks”. This is followed by the most unpleasant “shoulder massage” I’ve ever received, if you’d call it that.Cut Quality:The cut quality is the same as any other place you might go, though you pay a highly inflated price for it. Sports Clips certainly doesn’t have higher standards for their stylists relative to any other business.Stylists:Claire was my stylist. She did a terrible job, and when I pointed out (as did others) that my sideburns were uneven, she proceeded to tell me that they were fine. Claire also somehow managed to shave into my hairline on one side and did not match the other. Again, when I pointed this out, she told me “I think it’s just your hairline”. Interesting that this has never been an issue prior to her cutting my hair. I never had an experience nearly this terrible at any other, far more reasonably priced, establishment. Nor had I ever experienced a stylist arguing with me to avoid taking any blame.Summary:In the past 4-5 haircuts at various Sports Clips, I’ve concluded that I will not be returning, nor do I recommend anyone else. The prices are heavily inflated (nearly twice that of Great Clips) for the same cut or worse. There is nothing premium enough to warrant the cost at this location or any of the others. Go to Great Clips or find a barber shop where they know what they’re doing and aren’t bumbling fools.

After growing my hair out for 3 1/2 months I decided that I needed a haircut. Darci Kier did an amazing job getting my mop-top back into a presentable shape. Probably the best haircut Ive had in the lat 4 years.

They have notes about how my son likes to get his haircut. It’s fast and convenient.

They usually dont do a very good job at all, even when you show them a picture of what you want. The services are way overpriced too. Youll probably get a better cut at great clips in half the time.

Called four different times in one day with no answer. They finally answered and said they only do walk-ins. Okay, nbd.I go there, get myself put into the queue, and wait 15 minutes.I then get a text saying itll be about 10 more minutes. 30 minutes pass and I decided to go home.They might do a great job cutting hair, and maybe im just doing something wrong, but I suppose I prefer to schedule an appointment.

First time in my life going to a barber. Kat cut my hair and beard. Very nice. really cool environment. Made great recommendations for beard oil which i ended up buying there. Will definitely being going back. Ask for Kat she is awesome.I did a walk in which you can check in there or online. I only waited for 5 if that.

Nice atmosphere, very clean with several tvs to watch. Rachel cut my hair and did a great job. You can tell she has been doing it a while, good skills and very personable and down to earth. Great experience. Caters to the dudes for sure, I wouldnt necessarily go here if you are looking for anything other than the traditional shorter mens haircut.

Walked in@4:30, sat there for 2 hours waiting to get a hair cut. Make appt online because apparently you get pushed ahead of everyone there, no matter what time you came in....thats what happened to us.

A great place to get a quick cut, wash, and massage. The staff has always been friendly and prompt. I have had great results with both my kids as well. In addition they carry some nice products that are tailored for men.

I like the shampoo massage, invigorating 😁 the haircut is fresh but the girls need to slow down a bit to make the cut more clean and sharp.

These guys always excel at what they do...went in again yesterday and the wait was really short my stylist didnt say much but Im sure it was probably a long day with everyone rushing in to get cleaned up before turkey day but I got an awesome mvp and felt like a million bucks when I left and all for under 25 bucks cant beat it I am very happy with the style I got

I will not be back! Last time we came the stylist cut my sons ear and left his entire head raw from the clippers after taking 30 minutes cutting his hair (he gets a 3 guard all over, not a complicated cut!). I thought maybe she was new and gave them another shot, although there was no apology or recognition that he has blood running down his ear and neck. Today we waited patiently 25 minutes for our turn and just as we were up, a man walks in and the stylist says, Oh, Im going to take him first, he just needs a quick trim. What do you think a 7 year old boy needs, a 2 hour cut and color?!? Id rather spend my money somewhere that has a concept of service.

Its nice to check in on my phone and not have to sit there for an hour waiting.

I have been given so many new opportunities by working for this company. I feel like I matter as an employee and through them I get to work as a Sport Clips ambassador as well as a manager. I have always been treated with respect and my team is very supportive!

Brenna is AMAZING! I am particular about who is cutting my hair and I have had a couple of the others cut my hair in the past and they were ok, but came across Brenna and now Im hooked. The MVP isnt quite enough so I do the Double MVP. Love it.

Kat B is the best! Always has a smile or a laugh while giving my hair the right cut. She really is a pro and an artist when it comes to my scalp! She even got my 15 year old son to smile one time.....an amazing feat!

It was fine. I got a good haircut, but i paid for the MVP, and I didnt feel getting the MVP was worth the money. Next time Ill just get the triple play or go to Lady Janes.

Went in at 530 on 07/18/2019, check in said approx. 28 mins, 10 mins. later someone walked in and my time went 38 mins. Well after 40 mins i left for another appointment i had to be at by 7pm. 15 mins after i left i get a text that 10 mins more and stylist would be ready. Last visit to this place mainley because 1 stylist working hard. 1 stylist joking and laughing working for her tip. 2 in the back doing nothing. Mgmt staff seems to really care about reviews and called me quickly. For that Im changing to a 4 star vs 1 star. Thank you very much for your quick response

The girl who cut my hair acted like she had better things to do. I got the worst haircut Ive ever had there, It was absolutely terrible. I asked for a trim and I left looking like a girl. I had to go get it fixed, I will never go to that Sports Clips again. I wasted $20 on a terrible haircut. I did not even bother to ask if she could fix it because the attitude she had made me want to get out of there as fast as I could. Wish I could get a refund.

The staff is friendly, polite, and professional. Amy and Kat always make me laugh and ensure my haircut is the way i like it before i leave. Amy even trims my goatee, i didnt even know they did that!! I definitely recommend it, youll have a fun experience.

Decent and quick (usually) place for a mens haircut. Its one step above some place like Super Cuts but not as good as a solid mens barbershop or salon. The massage and shampoo is really relaxing.

The girls specialize mens haircuts, they are the best, not to mention gorgeous, sweet, & if ya like sports they have that too, although the great haircuts for guys is way more than enough.

Needed a last minute cut, nothing hard, just a trim along the sides and back, not even a full haircut. The guy got me right in which was nice, but he did not do a good job. The back was uneven, didnt line up my neck, I might as well have done it myself. Not only was I not offered the shampoo or massage but I was still charged for a full cut and massage... I wouldnt get my hair cut here again if it was the last place to get your hair cut in Wichita.

The wait time here can be ridiculous. Either get an appointment or dont have anything important planned for at least an hour.

Kat & Rachael always cuts my hair the way I like it. They both put up with my craziness.

Plenty of hair dressers for the constant flow of customers. My son needed a little fix on the back of his neck and had a slight razor burn. Brought him back in and he was quicy mended up.
