Not what I asked for, showed an exact picture of what I wanted and asked her to make it bright. Not once did my stylist Olivia tell me that she couldnt do it but at the end it was nothing like I wanted. Im not saying its ugly, its just I went in there knowing what I wanted and didnt get it.Going back to get it redone free of charge, hopefully they can fix it. (Thats why I gave them a star)Update; love that the owner worked with me to make sure I got what I was trying for. Olivia had a good positive attitude throughout the entire ordeal so Im impressed by her professional.The new look is a lot closer to what I wanted, Im pretty happy.

Brianna and the staff are absolutely amazing! It’s been months since I’ve gotten my hair done and It was a hot mess. Brianna did an amazing job on my hair and she got it back to looking like me again. I am so picky when it comes to my hair and she knocked it out the park! The staff is awesome and kept offering me a drink and made sure I was doing good. I didn’t realize they could do eye brow waxes. When I mentioned I needed mine done I was told I could get mine done during my appointment which was so nice of them. I was so happy with the service. They really go above and beyond and make sure you’re happy and comfortable. They are so friendly and fun to chat with. Definitely recommend this salon!

Really great atmosphere, and my stylist was super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like the entire staff was up to date on the latest trends so I didnt really have to go into super detail on what I wanted. Other places, I felt the staff was a little older and kind out of touch with the current trends, so my request never came out right. But I never had that trouble here, she immediately knew what I wanted. Free water, nice place, very friendly staff. The only real downside I would say is that if youre used to getting your hair cut at discount places like Snip n Clip or something the prices may be a bit surprising. My haircut was 31$ and I just cut off three and a half inches. However, I feel like youre really paying for their expertise and the atmosphere there, as well as a personalized experience. After my appointment I received a handwritten post card thanking me for visiting. Very great experience, will recommend to friends after on for everything from cuts, styling and dyeing.

Bri is absolutely amazing when it comes to creating exactly what I want! I’ve never left the salon feeling like she didn’t just go above and beyond what I asked for. She takes her time no matter what and never makes you feel like what you want isn’t achievable! The staff is so nice and welcoming! ❤️

This place is incredible!!! I’m not sure where to begin...the staff has incredible credentials and experience to make you feel at ease putting your trust in their hands. Olivia was up-front with me about the coloring I originally wanted and wanted to make sure I was getting something I was going to like. They completely pamper their guests! I was offered mimosa, water, soda, snacks (basically anything I wanted) while they worked their magic on my hair. Even though my hair took a long time, they never made me feel like I was an inconvenience! Olivia Currasco is phenomenal, and I am guaranteed to be a lifer now!!!

I usually dont write reviews, but I cant get over how amazing this salon was. Moving around a lot, I always dread the having to find a new salon part. Im so glad I found this one. Immediately I was greeted by everyone. I was given a tour of the salon, which is amazing. They have so many services! I was offered donuts, coffee, wine, water. It was probably the best customer service I ever had. They listened to exactly what I wanted and wrote down a plan for what they were doing. I messed up when scheduling with 2 stylists online, Olivia and Bri. They were so nice about the mix up and split the time between the two of them and I was not disappointed. Both were amazing and both gave me good advice for maintenance on my hair, since Ive been having a difficult time with keeping the color. I love the cut and color. I cut a good amount of hair off. All of the staff were so inviting. I am so blown away. It was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this salon!

I went in to get a quick brow wax. Mackenzie Black did my waxing. She explained everything as I had only had it done one other time. She did a great job and everything looked great. I will most definitely be back for more brow waxes and other services as well A+++

This is the absolute BEST salon for your bridal party. Yall we had 12 girls and each one was getting their hair done for the wedding. The staff at ABLS set up mimosas and a full spread while they did our hair. I cant wait to post pictures. The atmosphere and vibe were perfect for the day of the wedding. Seriously wouldnt go anywhere else.

Upscale salon where you wont feel judged. My hair was a disaster and I needed to go somewhere nice to get it fixed. The staff in there were super nice (real nice, not fake nice) and the girl who cut my hair did an awesome job. It was a little expensive, but definitely worth it.

I did really enjoy going there. I went three times, twice got it cut and colored. They colored it twice trying to get it silver to match my own gray. It was dyed a blonde. I wanted my dark hair with a blended diver with my natural silver. I havent returned.it has been months since this happened.

I showed up for my appointment exactly on time (and made 24 hours in advance and confirmed via text) and was informed that there would be at least a 30 wait. One customer in the chair and one waiting before me. Did not get any notice of running behind prior to showing up at the salon and no explanation for the stylist running so far behind. Not acceptable and unlikely the salon will last.

I don’t even know where to start!!! I went in to have Bri do my hair and I told her I wanted Platinum with Brown lowlights. I have been going to ABLS since they opened. I am really picky about my hair and was nervous about going to a new salon. I was very impressed to say the least! The staff is very profession and they take the time to listen to you about your wants and needs. The owner even gets involved and assist the staff with any questions or concerns they may have. This place is amazing! I first went to ABLS in 2013 and loved it then and still love it! This week I was in desperate need of some hair love. I got a perm last year and it left my hair damaged on the ends and read up on Olaplex treatments. I contacted ABLS and they were able to get my in for a treatment the very next day! Olivia is amazing at what she does and the new building is so amazing! I love this team and love the salon. I will always recommend this place!Oh! One more thing, I took a bag home with some products and when I got home I realized there was a pamphlet with services, sample shampoo and Hershey Kisses in it! What a nice little surprise!

What couldve been a disappointing experience turned into the best I have ever had... I called and made an appointment requesting the most experienced stylist in baylage they had while also wanting a cut... the person on the phone was very friendly and even got me in the same day I called ( which for an upscale salon is impossible it seems ) so right off the bat I was thrilled... I went in for my appointment, met with my stylist, and went through everything I was wanting... the stylist assured me everything i wanted could be done and seemed just as excited as me to get started... as the time past ( which was a total of 4 hrs for what I wanted done ) the stylist and I had a blast talking and laughing but when it came to the final reveal my hair was not what I asked for/wanted but it was late everyone else had went home and I didnt feel comfortable expressing my disappointment... after going home that night I debated all night and morning on what I should do...do I call them...do I live with it...do I go somewhere else... ultimately I ended up deciding to call back hoping and praying they wouldnt be upset and something could be done... the person I spoke with was the personal assistant to the owner... she listened to every detail of my problem while taking notes and was nothing but SWEET to me... she told me she was soo sorry, even thanked me for calling back, and wanted to speak directly to the owner and would call me back asap... I waited less than a half an hour before I heard back saying the owner herself wanted to see me that day... So I went in that day and was soo nervous that everyone would be staring and whispering like thats her or yep here comes the problem client ... but it wasnt like that at all... everyone was soo welcoming offering refreshments and snacks trying their best to make me feel comfortable... next thing I know the owner comes, introducing herself, and sitting next to me on the couch... SHE WAS AMAZING... she listened to me without making me feel rushed, she recognized all my concerns and told me they were justified, and she personally thanked me for calling, coming back, and allowing her the opportunity to make it right... I have never been treated soo well at a salon... I have never had soo much fun at a salon... and I am proof that the owner truly cares for her clients and is thankful for the business she is building... she is willing to go above and beyond to make sure your not just happy but love your hair ( and I do LOVE my hair now)... I will never go anywhere else... I am soo incredibly grateful for my happy ending of what couldve been the complete opposite... THANK YOU SOO MUCH BRIANNA!!!

ABLS is the only place I will ever go to get my hair done. I have only had one “bad” experience and that was because I didn’t listen to the advice of my Stylist Bri (Owner) and pleaded with her to do it the way I thought I wanted and not the way she suggested, so it was my own fault not hers. After we were done and I looked in the mirror she immediately knew I didn’t like it from the look on my face. She told me to go home and style it the way I like and in the morning if I still didn’t like it to come back and she would fix it for free. Well I did just that. I went back the next day and she did what she had suggested the day before and I LOVED IT! Never will I question her process again.😂😂. She knows what she is doing and she has never disappointed me. People need to have realistic expectations when bringing in pictures they found on line and expecting to have a stylist recreate the exact color and cut. A good Stylist will know what is achievable and what isn’t for your specific hair. Bri and her staff rock!! Best salon in town hands down

Wasn’t the best. I asked for a warm blonde with two shades of blonde and also a toner which wasn’t delivered. I walked out with bits of hair that were white and others that were that orangey sort of colour which requires toner.

I hated it....i never go back to that salon...i am very disappointed..😅😅😅I had my first ever relaxing treatment at this Saloon(Olivia),i was very excited but that didnt last long, i lost all the relaxing with in 2 days after my first hair wash. when i called and complained they asked me to come and have it done 2nd time, so i went and they finished it in a real hurry(Olivia again) and they didnt do it well, as a result my hair became very frizzy and damaged. I called them and complained again so they agreed to do the hair repair treatment for free. So next time i went there a little late for my appointment (with my 10 month old son 25 min drive) they kept us waiting for 35 mins only to tell that i was late and they cannot do it for free and i have to pay and that was the owner of the salon who said. That was very unfair and i was horribly disappointed 😔.

I was really impressed and was greeted with a smile was asked if i needed anything to drink waited jus a few minutes to get to my stylist which was olivia super sweet great attitude got my hair color that i wanted a massage while i got my hair shampooed i loved it and overall was great service will go back nxt time. They must charge for the location because quality of the hairstylist I had my experiences with were very low. I read somewhere that they thoroughly consult with their clients before any treatments. I went to go lighter on my hair because I had gone dark before which is why I chose to go here. The stylist went in with asking me very few questions. I honestly felt like she didnt know what she was doing. She applied SO MUCH heat to my hair. She FRIED it and chopped some layers from the top to hide what she fried. My hair was kind of long before I went in and I walked out with some of my top layers being about 4 inches long. I contacted the owner and she refused to fix it until I gave her a bad review on Facebook, that got her attention. She was rude and extremely unprofessional even then. She said shed only fix it if I took the review down. Well, because of her unprofessionalism I did not and she replied with a very passive aggressive response. Dont waste your money here, take it where there are real professionals and real talent. Although this was a while back I decided to write a review now because my hair is still trying to recover from all the damage.

I am commenting today on MY service and care I receive and have received every visit from Bri. She has been my stylist for over 17 years and I have never seen her be anything less than professional. ABLS is a fun salon and Bri and her team care about their clients.

I had not colored my hair for several years before I went to see Mackenzie. I was so worried about the color damaging my hair; I have been trying to grow it out for what seems like a lifetime! After putting my trust in Mackenzie, she gave me a beautiful natural-looking ombre that left my hair feeling healthier than ever! I cant thank her enough for my great new look. Several people compliment the color, and many of my friends have gone to see her since. If youre looking to get a great ombre, go see her!! :)

If you are wondering whether to try abls - just do it! This is a cool salon and has a great atmosphere. I use Katie Stuber (of course), but have spent a lot of time at the salon and all of the stylists are excellent. In addition to a great cut and color, Katie has given me SO many tips about how to style my own hair, which really helps me maintain my style in between visits. She really cares about making sure her guests look their best and will take great care of your hair. Great Shellac manis too!

The first time I went I asked them to paint lilac hair but it did not leave me lilac left me like pink. I washed my hair for the three days they said and all the color went yellow and that I put on a purple mask for what color lasts but not hard anything but girl who attended me told me to come back again because it left some parts yellow. I went back a week because I was old. When I went back I told him girl what color does not last anything went out and I left platinum blonde really nice girl but my root is still yellow a weigh she long white hair even the hair was quiet enough. the truth is better than it was but it is not what I really wanted. the exaggerated cost for quality Ive been in Chicago a very good room not apasado esto.mi hair is super battered and step root yellow parts really sorry for girl who despite everything was kind. I did not like it completely. My hair is shattered.
