Mrs.Cooke was very helpful and kind. Heart of gold. Will go out of her way to help others. She keeps people from being homeless. Always there to listen and help you with questions and problems. She is a very professional woman. Will definitely recommend to others. You can fix up the property for rent I made a property look 1000 times better by giving it tlc anything can be fixed if you put forth the effort

Great helpers and service

The tenants are always crackheads 🤪 that will make any property around them degrade in value. This is the worst company to rent from. If you enjoy roaches and fleas and bed bugs and ants and diseases left by the last tenants. Go ahead and rent from these scum.

Vida is owner and nice pleasant lady very help landlord. NOTE - - I have to be truthful and honest S&C seems to specialize in low income type folks. Many property needs some major facelift. Many has bugs and literally as one tenant is moving out another is moving in at the same time. Vida does try to provide reasonable assistance in cases of emergency and/or unforeseen circumstances arises

I just dont care for people who take advantage of the elderly, I mean how would her daughter like that done to her mom. The lady owes back taxes and its not my moms fault!

Never reccommend any properties anywhere near 8th street. I rented a place from her and it had alot of issues not noticable until after living there a week. There were fleas, bed bugs, and cockroaches. None of the electrical outlets really worked, black mold in the ceiling, and a gas leak. She is not interested in trying to fix up what needs to be repaired. I have asked for help many times about issues and nothing has been done about them. I have very noisy neighbors that has multiple people coming in and out and they sell/do drugs out of the place all day and night. I have reported it to the police but they wont do anything about it either. My apartment has been leaking for over 3 months and has yet to been fixed! Worst experience ever.

I rented from Vida on 7th and Warford. The cockroaches almost carried me away and the criminals she employs are dangerous. Worst landlord I ever rented from, everything was broken and she refused to fix anything. My neighbor died in his apartment (rest in peace Sarge) as soon as she could she literally threw his belongings out the window (where they sat on the ground for a week) and immediately rerented it still with the smell of death in the apartment. Multiple break ins, assaults, and thefts from the dirtbags she rents to. Shevnever even asks for ID! As the previous person mentioned the tweaker maintenance in the blue truck named holly is a major crackhead and going to blow something up. Vida Cooke is a slumlord. Nasty, filthy dangerous is the best description of everything she owns. DO NOT RENT FROM S&C PROPERTYS/VIDA COOKE!
