2 weeks. Ive used both the cab companies that come on sheppard. They are both bad. This one is the worst of the 2. I have had scheduled a ride and just been for forgotten about till I call and request to be picked up 30 minutes after scheduled pick up. Called today around 3:55 for a pick up. Call them back at 5:15 to make it to voice mail. Call again 5 minutes later calling another cab to ask about the status and am told the driver is now on the way. Just told them to cancel it. There was no apology or anything.

The best Driving Service is Wichita Transports. Call them first!! They usually will pick you up within 20-25 minutes. They also cater to the military!

Occasional long wait times due to high volume of calls. Overall a good company with good employees. Better than uber or lyft as theyre not background checked. I feel safe with them.

I got picked up from my dorm 2 hours after I called and the driver took me to a store, granted I spent more time in the store than I had anticipated because my card wasnt working and I had to fix it to purchase my merchandise and pay the driver. The driver came into the store after about a half hour and told me the clock was still running and I told him that I was working on fixing my card. Right as the problem was resolved the driver took off. After calling the company back to send him back I waited for 20 minutes and then got an Uber because I was sick of waiting. The only reason that I give one star is because I didn’t have to pay the cab fare after the ordeal.

Never EVER on time. No matter how far ahead of time you call. It never fails when you call a second time they are on their way. Very unprofessional company. It is actually faster to take the bus.

The operator seems pretty unprofessional, almost like they just have a notepad and are writing things down on it instead of having a system. Furthermore I got quoted a price of $10-$15 total for 2 people which I did pay, but other people who took the exact same service paid that price per person and when they called to get there money back because they’d clearly been cheated, the company said call back In 30 minutes when the supervisor was there then wouldn’t answer and I’m pretty sure they were screening our numbers. If that wasn’t bad enough, our driver was very rude and I heard similar things about the other drivers that took my buddies to the airport with me. The driver freaked out on us for opening a door the door “the wrong way” without telling us before hand and the car smelled of smoke. Not to mention I specifically asked if the company takes card which they said they did, but the first thing I got told in the car was that his card reader was broken and he insisted on cash. The overall experience was unpleasant and I’m pretty sure that they can do this specifically because they’re the only lift service that can access the base creating a monopoly in the area because they know tech school students don’t want to carry 100 pound of luggage off base to get an Uber. Make other arrangements to the airport and don’t use this service unless it’s your last resort.

If I could give this cab service a minus 5 stars I would. They tell you a time but never come at that time. They need to be reported to the bbb because they are unreliable and they charge way too much for what they do. If you live in Wichita Falls, TX I suggest Uber or Lyft

Wow literally waited for an hour & the driver seemed very agitated when arriving with myself & my children. I did not feel safe nor comfortable so I simply declined the ride. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

We had called 2 days prior to make sure our taxi was on time. After reading some of the other reviews we got lucky because he was only 15 minutes late. He was extremely rude, he had hygiene issues, would not help us load our bags, van was falling a part (right door was broken, the ceiling of the van looked like it had been stabbed on every inch of it, heavy smell of cigarettes, extremely dirty) he also had us over pay by $10. The ride itself was supposed to only be $10. He made us all pay $5 each. There’s four of us so the total was $20. When we finally got to the airport he didn’t help us unload our bags and he was rude yet again.

Grumpy older man with no curtesy whatsoever. I’m not used to taxis at all, but I know when someone is treating me like garbage and that’s not how you treat someone in the military come on.... luckily my ride wasn’t too expensive but clearly this old man didn’t care about anything and should retire. Is this truly the service you guys bring to Texas and your military men and women? So disappointing

The driver had trouble finding my location and then rudely told me I gave the wrong building name. I dont think the price is worth the trip especially since the vans are dirty and all seem to have odors. I recommend using Uber or Lyft because theres more accountability with drivers.

I called them as a last resort. The driver was friendly but the cab is a health hazard. The overpowering smell of an exhaust leak made me sick. The driver seat is broken. So hes got the gangstah lean going on. I would recommend only using them in emergency situations.

RUDE! My husband David and I have ordered taxi service from this company for over a year now. I just called this evening, then I had to call back and cancel. Then I called again about an hour later to schedule again, and the man was SO MEAN. Ugly, mean voice, no manners whatsoever. I called him back and asked him what his problem was? He said he didnt have a problem, its just his voice. I call bull crap. I wont be calling this company anymore! EXTREMELY RUDE!

If I could do less than one star I would. They over charge and are ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS triple the time they say they are going to be. Absolutely ridiculous. I once missed a flight because this company was an hour and 40 minutes late. And when I called to politely ask where my cab was they hung up on me, TWICE. absolutely disgusted with this service. I’ve been waiting an hour and 20 min for a ride that said would be here in 30 min currently.

I am an international student and have been doing business with Skylark since 2012, even more so for Fall 16 and Spring 17 because of my internship. Today 06/01/17, I called for a cab and the very illiterate receptionist response was ENGLISH please!! I am from an English speaking country and I speak the same English as her. If my accent, for some possible reason was hard to understand, which never in the past it was then she should have politely asked me to repeat. Not even me having to wait for an hour or having to call back because they forgot the request could have upset me enough to write a review, but the incident today was. Never will I ever be doing services with this company again. To the management please provide a mandatory class to prospective and current employees about customer service. God bless.

I waited 50 minutes at the airport for a 10 minute ride, got in a dirty van wasnt helped when I called all i was told was they were coming, for 50 minutes. Terrible service. Just call an uber or a lyft its faster and cleaner.

Cab drivers are always friendly but the dispatch is HORRIBLE. They are incredibly rude and the logistics of getting a cab is atrocious. Call ahead if you want it to work but make sure it’s 30 min before you actually want to leave

Had to wait an hour for them to show up and whats worse is later when I got my credit card bill. I found out that the amount I signed for at the end of my journey was around $20 but they charged my Card $35 dollars. When I called and asked why the difference the woman told me it didnt matter what i signed for they always charged $35 no matter if I signed for it or not.

CALL WICHITA STAR TAXII only really bother to post something if its a good review, but I was so shocked. Im from Southern California, and am going to be staying here for a few days. If you are like me and you are too young to rent a car and flew out to see an airman at tech school who doesnt have a car use a different cab service. I booked online before my flight, and they never showed. I called to see if I could maybe get someone to come, and the lady was so RUDE. I cant even explain how rude she was. She was a complete a*shole. I was so shocked that I was completely SCARED to see what a driver would act like. This was my first flight alone where I wouldnt have someone to pick me up. At LAX and the Las Vegas airport there are Taxis everywhere so I was just really confused. Im not that familiar with Texas so I was freaking out. The last thing I needed was some b*tch to answer the phone and yell at me for no reason.WILL THEY SHOW UP ON TIME?: NO!DO THEY HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?: HECK NO!!!Wondering what you will do now? Driving 80 in a 40! He swerved into the other lane twice and was cussing the entire way. The company said we could use card and then he demanded cash only. We had another friend take a separate taxi same company and he said his driver was grumpy and rude and when he went to pay with card he got attitude and a grumpy old man. I was driving to the base to pick up some friends when I unlocked my phone at a red light to call them - my phone has Bluetooth but I need to physically unlock it. Skylark taxi guy next to me started yelling at me to get off your damn phone. Stop texting!. Ive never used this service but I will definitely not be getting into one now. This guy was rude and I would not want him driving me around. The only reason I was picking my friends up in the first place was to save them from this horrible taxi service anyway.

The cab was on time, driver carried my bags and was friendly but not creepy. The other services, Uber and Lyft, dont have base access - which they dont tell you - so they drop you at the gate to walk a mile to your dorm in freezing or scorching weather, carrying your luggage. Some have a military dependant ID, but thats no guarantee theyll be allowed to carry unknow paying customers onto base. Skylark has beenngreat, up front about everything.

Well i usually dont post reviews. But after reading all the reviews I was scared to call this company. I called them anyway bc they are not many options. First time I call was on 8/18/2018 to get picked up from the airport and go to the base. Well it did took like maybe 15 minutes for the driver to get to pick me up. There was a taxi outside the airport but I think He picked up the wrong girl. Anyway the girl was really nice. There was another student who was waiting outside the airport she asked if it was ok if he could ride with us and just split the cost. I told he it would be ok. She was nice, super friendly. Second time was today 8/20/17 around 5:50. I called them asking to pick me up from base. He showed up and waited 20 minutes on me. I was at the Sheppard inn waiting to get my bags and there were 6 ppl ahead of us. When we came out I apologize and he was so nice and sweet, he did not gave me a face nor an attitude I told him thank you for being so understanding And he said the company tells them to treat ppl thu want to be treated. Third time was tonight 8/20/17 around 8:30ish I was coming to my hotel after seeing my airman. I was trying to rush and say my goodbyes bc I didnt wanted to hold him up and he said please dont rush take your time, hug him hard and give him a good long kiss it was a very emotional moment and I was so happy he was so understanding. Over all I have to say I had an amazing service from all of the staff. The dispatcher I dont think she is trying to be rude. She is very short with her answers, she did call me back on Friday at the airport. After the taxi leaving with the wrong customer, she took the time to call and make sure a was taken care of. Honestly Im not sure if the bad reviews were from the drivers having a bad day or something but I had such an awesome experience from this company!!

I called for a Taxi about 40 mins ahead of time and was told the driver would be on their way. After the time went by and ge still wasnt there I called the operator and told her I had a very important doctors appoinment. She said he was on his way. Needless to say I missed my appointment and had to reschedule bc the driver didnt show up for another 30mins. I tried to do the courteous thing and call to cancel bc I figured they mustve been busy and was in hold for about 10mins. In this time the driver shows up and calks me abouy 4 times. I hang up on hold and start to explain what happen to the driver and let him know I didnt need a ride after all. He was really rude and hung up me. I would recommend finding othere arrangments for ride in the future. Side note I have called 2 hours before in advance and let them know what time to pick me up and they still were late as well.

I wasnt going to leave a review since it would just look like I was a disgruntle ex-employee. But their actions are such it needs to be public.While I like many of the drivers and dispatch, I did have an issue with the Day manager constantly talking about my breasts. From my very first interview with him, he made several comments on how well endowed I was. I ignored most, but did start to record everything when I went into work. Unfortunately it is just hear say as I left shortly after and never got him on a recording because we were two different shifts..I worked for skylark spring 2016, 6pm to 6am. Within roughly a month of employment I was called a liar and a thief by the owner because **HE** failed to schedule enough drivers for the start of a holiday weekend. Even after the dispatch and the night manager vouched for me, I was still put on probation and my GPS watched.While I worked there, 12 hour shifts, I barely made any money. My last night I brought home $14.NO HOURLY WAGES as they consider you a contract labor. I was unware I had a check waiting for me since JUNE, they failed to notify me until I sent in a complaint about a driver dangerously close to my rear on the freeway just a few weeks ago.I have had several instances of dangerous driving, by cab drivers I dont know, since I put a competitors logo on my back window. So much so, I bought a dash cam so If I ever need to file a police report, I have proof.Top that all off they are practicing shady business by buying a URL with the Rideshares name so when searched it leads to skylark website. While thats not illegal, it is pretty dirty. Though i do wonder about trademarks.So knowing I am an ex-employee and now work for their competitor you can take my review with a grain of salt if you must. But I do have proof of the instances of wreckless driving.

Very smelly and dirty taxis. Sometimes they get lost in Wichita Falls - why dont they just use Google Maps? My friend in the front seat had to hold up his own phone with directions so the driver could find the way.The drivers are friendly.
