Cory & David were great on the install. They were prompt, friendly, & fast. What was scheduled for an all day event was finished in 4 hours. They even noticed my screen door hinge was off & fixed it. Nick Hebensperger could have been more empathetic when I found out I would be w/o AC for a couple weeks. It seemed as if he was more interested in the sale. Kudos to him for bumping the install up a week & offering a window unit. I think he meant well. The office was nice & friendly. An overall positive experience.

A James Lane Installer, named Bradley, Professional and Polite stop by first and tried everything to fix our poor old unit, with no luck, the unit was a goner. Jimmy Legate was the Sales Rep, he kept us comfortable with portable Air Conditioner units until the install, Mario & Cory were the Installers. These 3 gentlemen are very Polite, Courteous, Professional and Punctual. They cleaned up after the huge mess of replacing an entire unit.They took the time to set up my computerized thermostat and explain step by step, answered any question I had. We have had Justin out to service our heating unit when it was completely down. He was able to bring it back to life and highly recommended a replacement due to its age and condition. There was no pressure in committing to a replacement and he was very informative on what we could expect. With this winter cold snap the heater finally went completely out and James Lane honored the estimate we were given two months prior. Jeremie and George came out today and replaced the Heater and AC unit. All James Lane staff we have encountered are highly professional and informative. All staff have answered our questions, were respectful to our dwelling and Jeremie and George even moved our old unit to our requested location for storage. Our old HVAC unit was completely done and needed to be replaced. Everyone we have encountered has been very professional. The sales representative, Nick asked us our goals and expected time we were going to stay in our house before recommending 3 different units for us to choose from. We got several bids and no other company offered this kind of tailored estimate. Cory and Everett were very respectful and professional during the installation that mostly occurred in the pouring down rain. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Our sink started clogging up a couple weeks ago and finally got too bad to deal with on our own. Called James Lane and they got somebody out within a couple hours! Jason did an awesome job of not only clearing the drains but was also very informative of everything he did and explaining what the cause was. My installers Jeremie and George were very efficient (even with wrong parts initially). They answered my 100’s of questions and were patient with me. Thank you both.I do not like to discuss negative but me and my mother had installs about a week apart and our salesperson just didn’t produce for her and ordered wrong parts for me. Great guy who knows his job but takes on too much maybe? Great local company for sure.

Everyone was a complete professional from the receptionist, to the man that gave the bid, to the men that installed the unit. The electricians they contracted to verify the wiring for the new unit showed up on time did their work and left everything as they found it. The installers showed up the day they said they would. They started early and worked hard until the job was done. They cleaned the closet and repainted it after removing the ancient unit. The new unit looked wonderful in the closet and has performed without any issue at all. I would recommend James Lane and their professional workers to anyone. I could not be more impressed or pleased with their work ethic and professional.

Update: Jeremie and Leeroy installed new a HVAC systems for me. They were outstanding in every conceivable way. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and polite, and proud of their work. There was some miscommunication between myself and the sales staff that left me a bit disgruntled, but Nick fixed that and after watching the dedication of Jeremie and Leeroy, Im sold on the company. I went to the attic to see what I had just purchased, and even to my novice eyes, I could see a huge difference in the manner of installation. Also, having a Wifi controlled thermostat is critical to me, and when my old one wouldnt work, they got me a Nest that would without asking me first. Thank you to Jeremie & George for coming out today for the install and Robb for doing my estimate. From the time I received my estimate back, to getting the loan, to install Robb answered all my emails promptly and unexpectedly fast. His communication was clear, he took the time to explain the process and the items I wasnt familiar with. I have a couple of brothers in Austin and Colorado who reviewed the estimate and to go with the best option on my quote.They also said the product I would receive was a top brand and reliable. Sure, I could have or should have received other quotes, but bros word on pricing and value was good enough for me. James Lane has a pretty good reputation in my area and I know some of their customer base and they happy with them. So I didnt look any further. Jeremie & George came through with the install within 2 days of my order and were finished up around 5. My house is not the easiest to work on. I know this to be true because everything I try to update has fought me. I felt bad for them because I already knew something was going to challenge them. I considered doing it myself with one of the brothers but I wasnt gonna put them through that. They used some problem solving skills and solved some issues and logistics that were in the way. I was proud of them. Before they left they took a little extra time to ensure everything was working properly and answered more questions. They did an excellent job and I hardly even noticed they were there. They were professional and courteous and their work was clean. Im pretty confident in my upgraded equipment and their work. There was one item that will require further attention but that was beyond their control, if were being completely honest, but Im assured someone will be back to complete it. But nothing pressing my system is fully functional. Im generally pretty throughout with my research and inspections. They didnt mind me standing over their shoulder every now and then to see what they were doing. I also ask alot of questions and take time to learn some of the basics beforehand so when I ask a question some answers make better sense . I would recommend anybody do the same. A new unit is a big investment. Im also a DYI guy but I may use them in the future because of my experience for maintenance and other miscellaneous. Its nice not to do everything myself even though I want to or should. But I trust the quality of their work.And thanks to Sherry for taking my payment. She was pleasant to deal with and I was able to pay right over the phone. Everything taken care of efficiently.

Called with a severe water leak at an outside faucet and was told to call the city and have them cut the water off and they would be available April 19th and it is April 8th. James Lane Air Conditioning and Plumbing completely changed out my central air conditioning system to a heat pump system. The process started with a one on one visit with Jimmy. He explained the choices I had of the various units on the market and the cost of the project. I was assured that I was dealing with a reliable and reputable company. I also felt like I was paying a fair price for the project. The job entailed changing out both the inside and outside units and checking out the ductwork in the attic. Brady and Jeremie arrived on time. They were very professional in their manner and job proficiency. They answered all my questions and completed the changeover in about 4 hours. The new system is so quiet that I need to open the access door to verify that the unit is operating. I am totally satisfied with James Lane Air Conditioning and Plumbing and highly recommend them for all plumbing and air conditioning needs.

I was being a bit proactive in replacing my AC unit after having spent a bit of money over the last six years replacing pieces. It was only a matter of time before the compressor died. And it would probably die when it was 109˚F. From the beginning, the sales staff contacted me and we discussed a number of options. They ultimately scheduled an install date convenient for both of us. Because theyre in high demand, dont be in a hurry. But I wasnt. The install was painless. It took two days but they left a temp unit for me the one night I was without AC. Im also very pleased with the financing and the warranty work. Jeremie and Cory — the installers — were polite and left the place better than they found it. Most of all, I appreciate the two-way communication.

The people at James Lane were very professional and quick to get to us even though we live out of town. They are the only company who come to our area in addition to providing us quality service. First mike did a great job. My dad has Alzheimer and me and my wife are care takers and he worked really hard on a 30 plus old unit with a burn out air pump. The air motor makes load noise now and Mike notated on his invoice. The response time was great and dad has AC now and need to have a schedule a time to fix the noise and give quot on new unit.

Had my heating unit service today before winter gets here. Id signed up for semi-annual service with James Lane several weeks back. Serviceman arrived after receiving call with arrival time. I was very pleased that my service man was a non-smoker. He was clean and wore shoe covers to preclude tracking in grass/dirt. Showed me a problem area with my coils and quoted me a very reasonable price to service the unit. Overall I was extremely please with his courtesy and knowledge of my heating/ac unit. Just had our entire (inside and outside) AC/heater replaced. They provided a free estimate, answered all of our questions, and walked us through all of our options. They provided estimates in three different price ranges, and had two different payment options for us to choose from. All of the staff we delt with were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was such a large purchase, and we were nervous about making the best choice for our home but they made the process as painless as possible. We are extremely happy with the product and service we got. A special acknowledgement to the two gentleman that did the install, Mario and Cory. They worked hard, took precautions to protect our floors, explained what they were doing, answered our questions, and cleaned up well after themselves before leaving.

Our hot water heater started leaking Saturday evening on 12/14/19. I called James Lane Sunday morning around 9am in order to have a technician come out. When I called, a live person answered the phone. You do not receive that kind of service in this day and time, its usually a phone system telling you to push 1, 2, 3 or 12. When she said the service tech would be out shortly, I asked if she needed my phone number so he could contact me. She said no, that he was loading up his truck and would be there shortly. He arrived within 45 minutes of my call. Upon his arrival, he drained the tank and said that he could go get a new hot water heater to replace it. I told him to wait until Monday. I did not want to mess up the day for himself or his family. I picked out the hot water heater I wanted along with the price. He said that I would receive a call in the morning to schedule a time. On Monday morning, James Lane called and said they would be there between 12:30 and 1:00. Upon their arrival, they had the new heater installed within two hours. The three techs I dealt with were very professional, personal and highly skilled. James Lane is a fantastic company with fantastic representatives working for them.Stewart Swartz

I’ve used James Lane for both my house and my mother’s rental property. Never had an issue with price and they were always willing to explain everything on site. I appreciate their willingness to educate property owners on how to keep their units running correctly. I ask a lot of questions and they have never hesitated to answer them (and this has been multiple technicians and the same service every time.) I learn something new from them on a regular basis. Personally, I would not call anyone else.

I had an excellent experience. Several weeks ago we noticed the air-conditioner was not cooling. We called after 6 PM in the evening and someone came out right away. He fixed what he could for that evening and came back the next day and finished working. After several weeks, we came home and found that it was not working again. Someone came within 15 minutes and discovered that a wire was loose. It seemed possible that it was left that way after the last repair. It was repaired right away and we were not charged for the second visit. In every step along the way we felt that we could trust your repair man and felt that they did all they could to keep from costing any more money then it had to. These repairs were done at the home of my 86-year-old mother in law, it’s great to know there’s someone we can trust to take care of her and her air-conditioning/heating unit

Needed a new hot water heater & James Lane’s sent a couple of guys out to assess what we needed & the cost. Two days later I had a new tankless hot water heater at a competitive price. The installation was done quietly & they left a clean workspace. Both men were very polite & instructed us on how the unit operates & it’s care. But a follow up call from the main office a couple of days later was not expected, but it was surely appreciated! Impressive service 👍

Our heater broke right when the temperature dropped to 21 overnight. Our technician Justin came out the next day right on time and was very expeditious in finding the problem. He was very personable and explained exactly what happened so we knew what it would take to fix. We had a wonderful experience and I highly recommend James Lane to anyone looking for HVAC repairs.

James Lane came through and helped us in a last minute crisis! They installed new water line and sewer line the day after we first reached out to them. No one else in town could do the job for weeks. James Lane gave us a clear and accurate estimate. They are extremely professional and they were the lowest bid we got on the job as well. I can’t recommend them enough!

I had James Lane Air Conditioning and Heating Company installed a gas valve and a thermostat at home on 12/09/19 which is today. This company installed the cheap parts and charged me arms and legs for the parts. I looked at the price of the gas valve Model 36J24-510 online which is $114.70 ( James Lane charged me $303.00 for this part plus labor) and the price for cheap thermostat Model Braeburn which is $28.60 ( James Lane charged me for this part $176.00 plus labor). This company did not bring me the receipts of how much the parts costed; instead they charged me one of them about three times the price of the part and the other more than six times the price of the part. This company should not stay in business at all. I don’t know how many old people got ripped off by this company because they never know how much the parts cost. How would this company get almost 5 stars reviews?. To me, this company should get zero star for this kind of highway robbery. The state should not give them licenses to do this business. If you call them for service with heating or air conditioning, watch out!!

A technician was able to come out quickly and assess our heat in the cold temperatures. He laid out all the options, we picked one, and the work was done a couple of days later. They didnt just try to sell us a new system like a lot of companies would. Our heat is back on and more efficient than ever. Thank you!

Jeremie & Brady installed our new Carrier Heat Pump system in record time. They were very professional and courteous. No problems. Great place to do business with.

Jeremie, Corie, and Santos were our installers for our new HVAC system. It was a big job and a tight fit getting the furnace to into our small space. They did an excellent job troubleshooting and getting it to fit without any damages to the walls. I was impressed!! Our salesman, Jimmy, also was very personable and professional. I was very happy he stopped in during the installation to make sure everything was running smoothly. I would highly recommend. It is expensive but the quality of the Carrier brand is well worth it. So far since having our ac running it has cost less than $2.00 in 5 days! I am anxious to see our first electric bill. The savings should be substantial.

I bought a new air conditioner from James Lane. The service techs Mario and Santos did an super job on the AC instalment. Very professional young men. Great Service! Robb was great helping us decide which unit to choose. There was no high pressure sales here. Daniel, Kory, and Mario came out to install the unit. They were professional and courteous. They always had shoe covers on and even had covers on the wheels of the dolly. They cleaned up after the job and were very helpful explaining the smart thermostat to me.

James Lane has replaced our hot water heater, done our sink work, fixed a clogged tub and cleaned out yard drain lines. The service call is competitive, even after hours and Holidays. I know this because James Lane saved our Thanksgiving Day meal several years ago! All the employees are professional, polite, friendly and don’t over sell you, being retired I appreciate that. This week they repaired our Gravity Furnace that I thought was going to be impossible to fix because it’s an oldie, but goodie. It took 2 day’s and a miracle to repair, but I have heat again. The Miracle’s name is Zeb, he was patient, tedious and really cared. I feel if had been any other company they would’ve just gave up and tried to sell me something. Thank you Zeb! You won’t go wrong choosing James Lane.
