Ive been a customer of Sherburne Jewelers since moving to White Bear Lake almost 30 years ago. Most recently, I entrusted their repair team to restore and repair a gold bangle bracelet that belonged to my great Grandmother. I felt trepidation about leaving this beloved piece with anyone to repair.When I picked up the piece last week, I was moved to tears because the bracelet now looks better than it did when it was given to me. The skill and craftsmanship required to restore this piece was tremendous. The Sherburne team is awesome -- no matter what you need. I feel terrible leaving such a low review, but people should know about the terrible customer service here. The work they were supposed to be doing was a week late. I called to check and had to leave a message. Days later when my call was returned, I was told it was wrong of me to call, they’d call me when the work was done, and it would be at least another two weeks before they started. Even at the new earliest two week deadline, they would’ve been at 2.5 months before starting. I said don’t bother. When I went to pick my stuff up the person helping me took the work ticket, returned my items, and never spoke so much as a word to me. A complete lack of customer service and zero respect is what you can expect from John at Sherburne Jewelers.

Joel mixes beautiful craftsmanship with customer service tailored to exactly what you want. My fiance had my engagement ring custom made here. It was exactly what we wanted for the best price we could find anywhere- including online where we would have packed the customer service and custom work. When it came time for our wedding bands, Joel happily spent a great deal of time with my fiance to help him find something he loved tailored to him. For mine, he listened to my vision and made suggestions all within our budget. Joel patiently sized my fiances ring to get the perfect fit upon our pickup. We cannot recommend Joel highly enough for artistic skill, his fair pricing, and his customized customer service.

We absolutely love Joel and his staff. Very one is very kind and helpful. My wife and I custom designed her engagement ring and both our wedding bands there. They turned out perfect and fit great. They gave us great instructions on how to keep them in great condition. We will miss coming in to see Emma but the new puppy is just as cute.

Twenty years ago Joel designed an updated wedding ring for us. He added a beautiful fire opal to the gold and diamonds in the original ring. Recently, again, Joel designed another update with the addition of a pear shaped diamond. We are so happy with the quality of the design and the workmanship: it is a work of art!

I purchased an engagement ring a year ago and it’s beautiful, and very reasonably priced. We went in to get it resized, they were able to get it done in under an hour, cleaned it, and had it ready for us when we got back. The employees always are eager to help and always seem to have a smile on their faces.

Recently had my mother’s engagement ring reset and a wedding band made out of old family gold for myself. My husband and I were impressed with the customer service provided by everyone in this shop. I am thrilled with the final product, because with the help of Sherburne Jewelers, we were able to create something new and special— with lots of personal meaning.
