Highly recommend! We noticed on Sunday that our ash tree was cracked and about to fall. Through a recommendation we found A Cut Above and they came out right away on Monday to look at the tree. This tree needed to come down ASAP. They had their crew out on Tuesday and got the job done in just a few hours. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I couldnt believe how precise they were able to be with taking this large tree down. They didnt let a leaf fall where they didnt want it to go. After the tree came down we saw the tree had cracked all the way to the base, so glad they knew this was urgent and took it out before anyone was hurt or it fell. Many of our neighbors were also impressed and asked for their info. Great job, so happy we used them!

Had a storm take put the top of a maple in my back yard. They came out, gave me an estimate which was very fair and came back with a crew in 3 days to remove that section which was hung up outside my back door. I was impressed with the professionalism. Going to have them back in the spring to remove both of these troublemakers...P.S. My dog liked them too... if you trust your dog...

A giant branch broke off a tree in our backyard recently during a storm, and we actually live right around the corner from the owners of this business and see their trucks all the time. Serendipitous!They were able to get us in within a couple of weeks, and the communication was quick and great. The service itself was fantastic, and they cleaned everything up perfectly at the end so you barely even knew they were there. Owner is friendly and walked me through the process both before and after. Highly recommend!

Impressive communication and top notch organization with all they do from beginning to end. The owners and their entire team work so well together in giving 100% to the job they do. Couldnt be more happy with the personalities and how easy they made it look to take down this GIANT (12 in circumference) tree that was located in a very tight space. They also removed a pine this week and trimmed up my sugar maple- taking the time to really think about how to shape the canopy. Cleanup and safety are high priorities with them. Well done and a big THANK YOU to them for all their hard work.

We are very pleased with the service! We had them out today to remove 4 large trees from our property. All of which were near the house/and our neighbor’s home. They were careful, and very clearly skilled at what they do. They were priced fairly, very personable, and they did an excellent clean up job as well. Another thing to note, it was garbage day today and our cans had to be moved from their normal location. The guys made sure they were picked up when the trucks came by and even brought them back up to the house after they were emptied. I didn’t expect them to do that, and it was thoughtful and appreciated. Great work!

Very professional and very skilled at what they do. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. We had 2-50 foot trees removed in about 3.5 hours and two stumps removed a week or so later.. Would definitely recommend.

HIGHLY recommend A Cut Above for your tree removal/clean up needs.The owner and his team are very down to earth hard working people. They worked hard all day removing 3 large trees and cleaning up 2 more and you would barely know they were here because after a long day they spent the time to make sure the yard/street was cleaned up of ALL debris.They also take the time to make sure to keep themselves and the people/traffic in the area safe.The price was also extremely fair for the great work they do.

Mike and Anna did an amazing job for us after our tree went down during a storm. They are reasonably priced and very professional. They did everything to minimize damage to our yard and our neighbors. The clean up job was great and will be using them again for future projects. We lost our favorite tree and the A Cut Above team was amazingly professional in handling the removal. This company did a large job for us (3 trees removed, 14 trimmed back) and were completely satisfied with the end result. They were prompt, got the job done in a timely manner, and the crew were very professional. The cost for the job was reasonable also. Best call I ever made after searching for a tree service. Signed the contract on Monday and the job was done by Thursday. Wow! Even found a nest of young squirrels in one of the trees they removed, so they carefully relocated without any harm to the critters. Thanks for going the extra mile for us.

Have ONLY used this company to service our tree trimming and removal. They are masters at their profession and run a tight crew. We have silver maples that are monsters in size. A Cut Above Tree Service makes them look happy and healthy once trimmed. They are professional and promise what is delivered.

One of the most difficult jobs is to find a good and honest tree trimmer. It so happened that Mike and Anna where in the neighborhood, where he also grew up, they stopped by to say hello......and the rest is history.We now have the most beautiful trimmed trees in the neighborhood. They cleaned up everything the way we would have done it and more. They truly stand up to the name A Cut Above Tree Service. We have had trimmers who changed their minds about the price they had quoted us just before starting the project. NOT GOOD!!! We no longer have to shop around for a reputable, trusting, and fabulous work done by Mike Jordan and his crew. A Cut Above tree Service will be the only tree trimming business we will ever hire again the next time the trees need to be trimmed.We rate it ten stars and highly recommend them.

A Cut Above Tree Service just finished up a big job at my home today ( except for stump grinding). I was very impressed by their communication and organization leading up to the job. The owner is very knowledgeable and really cares about doing a good job. They really think about the details. The crew has a very good system down for getting the job done. They worked so hard and were very efficient. I would highly recommend them.

A Cut Above was 1/2 the price of another service we were quoted! $1200 to $600 and did an outstanding job! They cleaned up spotless and would recommend them to everybody! The crew was in and out in an hour! Plus did my neighbors on each side on the spot of cutting our tree down shortly after our job was done and again outstanding!

They did the job but were not customer focused. they destroyed our yard, left stumps that were impossible to cut and overall i did not feel that they had our best interests in mind. I believe they should have recommended waiting more days without rain to remove the tree, and while we did want wood leftover, they should have only left smaller logs. I was really disappointed with the quality of service and after speaking with other tree removal companies they would have handled much differently. do not use this service!

Came out and did a full day of tree work includes taking down some trees and trimming large branches. Completed everything they stated and cleaned up after themselves. Pleasant to work with!

Mike and crew did an awesome job removing 4 large trees from our backyard. They left a yard completely cleaned up not a stick left behind. They worked over the house, avoided the gardens and playset. Awesome job guys we could not be happier! We will see you again in the fall to clean up that oak tree.

A Cut Above was at my home today. I hired them for a full day of service. They cut, logged and chipped 13 trees. Every tree that I wanted removed was taken down, safely, and correctly. They chipped every piece and put the logs where I requested. The employees were all accommodating and curtious.They did the work exactly as promised, worked all day with minimal breaks. When the trees werent dropping or being chipped the guys were raking or stacking all the debris for removal.I highly recommend A Cut Above.

I definitely recommend A Cut Above Tree Service. I recently had them remove a very large old tree of mine that was partially rotting and becoming dangerous, and was in a very tight area threatening my house and my neighbors. I was concerned that I might have trouble finding a tree co willing to take this on, and if I did theyd probably charge extra due to the difficulty. But A Cut Above was willing and able to do it, and quoted me slightly UNDER what my arborist had said to expect, and threw in removal of my poor old leaning lopsided pine for free! Anna kept me posted on the schedule (postponed once due to very mushy yard), the guys arrived on time, worked HARD all day, were very careful to prevent any damage to my neighbors driveway, got the work done, and did an amazing cleanup! I couldnt be happier. I would definitely use A Cut Above again and recommend them to friends & family. :)

Mike and his crew came out laid down plywood down to insure my yard was protected (I did not expect this) his crew was very professional, when they finished my yard looked just liked it did before they got there. Took 4 - 5 hours before they came out to look at the trees. Then only offered me 1 option. Take it or leave it. Wasnt interested in what service I wanted. And unable to do the work on my time frame.

The workers were prompt, efficient, good natured and left the site very clean. We’ve used A Cut Above before and would use them again if we need tree removal.

Communication not the best. Said they would double plank my lawn and my neighbors lawn. Did not happen, left big ruts in our yards where they did not plank. We had to Put in 20 bags of dirt Blamed it on the wetness of our yard. Nothing was said about not watering, and we had just come back from vacation the morning they came.Stump grinding left a lot to be desired. Was going to shoot the mulch into our river rock bed, said no, so was going to shoot into our neighbors yard, ah No! My husband and I spent 6 hours cutting out roots in an area that should have been ground.Disappointed customer, was cheaper than others but wish I had paid the price.

Mikes service was great...couldnt beat the price and decided to give them a shot and they delivered. Professional work in a timely fashion!
