Weve used these services on and off for a few years now. Customer service is responsive and helpful. However, too many times have we had jobs not done. Multiple times crews have not shown up leaving us rushing seeking alternatives. Other times the work has been of poor quality. Id day about 25% of the time weve been happy with the work that has been done. I also dont like that they charge you before the work is done. This leave you having to wait for a refund for when the crew is a no-show.I think the biggest issue with this company is that they have no means of guaranteeing that a crew will show up or, if one doesnt, a guaranteed backup crew to make sure the job gets done.Probably will not use their services again unless were in a bind.
Ive tried using this service a few times and more often than not Ive had cancellations or reschedules leaving me scrambling to get it done before everyone gets home and attempts to get in the driveway. Its a great idea if it was actually reliable. Its not the customer service or the people you actually talk to, its the people they contact with who ruin it. There has to be a better screening process because those unreliable people also ruin it for the guys who actually come through, like the one I had do my parents driveway at 0645 this morning. I doubt Ill use this service again.
I wanted Plowz & Mowz to succeed. I gave them 3 years to prove themselves and they have been singularly consistent in one thing - incompetence.From missed mows (the usual go to excuse given for the last year has been “provider had an equipment issue”), to not responding for hours, to not raking my lawn for the leaves service I hired and paid them for, to plows not showing up, to missing scheduled day after day after day (yes, not scheduled time but scheduled DAYS) Plowz & Mowz has almost been a clinical demonstration on how incompetence can somehow against all odds still run a terrible business.Let me show you a review I had written for the lead removal I hired them for that I didn’t post to give you just a GLIMPSE into the train wreck that is Plowz & Mowz:“This is a total scam. They sat on my $200.00+ for leaf removal for 2.5 weeks. They claimed the job was assigned 6 times and then 6 times it was delayed. Meanwhile we went from fall to winter. We are now getting 12” of snow on top of the leaves in my yard and I STILL have not received my money back they took for the job though the job is cancelled. Contacting attorney general, department of commerce and the CFPB.UPDATE: they finally did have someone out and clean my leaves... 4 1/2 months after the date that I had hired them for. Literally 137 days late for their appointment. They gave me 30% off for my trouble”Every single thing I am saying can be backed up with email after email after email after email from them - always with an excuse.Tonight I finally got fed up and said “no more” and cancelled my (once again missed) mow, cancelled my weekly mowing service with them and am now taking to the internet as an evangelist against the rampant, nonsensical, dubious scam and ripoff that is Plowz & Mowz in the hopes that I can help someone much wiser than myself who actually reads reviews on these clowns to not waste their time, money and patience hiring them.I literally can’t think of ANYTHING that I can say that will even scratch the surface on just how bad of a company this is - from bad customer service to inconsistent results to just not caring one bit about the damaged clients, driveways and lawns that they leave in their wake.I guess the Better Business Bureau said it best when they REVOKED Plowz & Mowz accreditation.Please for the love of God, do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at all costs. Tear up your lawn and rip up your driveway if you must - I promise you, it is better than the horrible experience that Plowz & Mowz will put you through!Plowz & Mowz - simply put - does not value or respect its customers.
The customer service is great - I would know because Ive had to call them a lot. When you schedule the mowers for a specific date, half the time they dont show up on that date. Thats a big deal for me because I have to lock the dogs inside for over 12 hours while we are gone for the day because we also dont have any time frame as to when the providers will arrive. Additionally, weve had to call Customer Service a couple of times because the actual service we received was been quite lackluster (grass unevenly mowed, grass clippings blown all over the driveway and not blown off). They are amazing at sending out either the same provider to do the job again or a different provider. We have used this company for three years now; unfortunately, Im at the point where Im considering a switch and hiring someone local.
Ive used this app before and get great results every time. All you have to do is order, set a date, then completely forget about it. I highly recommend this to anyone with lawn care needs.
After using this service the first time, we were ecstatic! Then after signing up for a contract of every 10 days, our “job” was canceled FIVE days in a row! I would not recommend this service to any friends of mine!
Saw this on the news. Decided to give it a try and im glad i did. Lawn service ordered right on the app and the landscaper was there the day i picked and did an amazing job. Thanks Plowz & Mowz
