This was my first visit to the Salon Cheveaux, and my stylist was Nikki . I went in looking to experiment and determine how I would wear my hair for my daughter’s wedding. I had a few ideas, but honestly didn’t know what I wanted. I hated to be “one of THOSE customers “, but Nikki was incredibly sweet and patient . She was willing to try multiple ideas without rushing me out of the chair, and I left happy in having found the perfect style for the big day. I’ll absolutely be back for a repeat performance on the actual day of the wedding!

Joel has been cutting and coloring my hair for 21 years! I have NEVER walked away unhappy nor has he ever had to cancel my appointment with him in 21 years (sickness, vacation, etc.). I decided this summer to embrace my COVID gray! I would NOT have done that with anyone but Chris in my corner. She has worked miracles to blend and tone the gray so the process wasnt painful at all. If I could give my experience more than 5 stars I would. The salon is beautiful but I want to focus my review on my stylist, Sammi.I decided a few weeks before my engagement pictures that I wanted to pursue hand tied extensions. I did a quick Google search and it pulled up this salon. I reached out to Sammi on Instagram and she quickly offered me a consultation appointment for the next day. Long story short, she went far above and beyond for a stranger she just met, and offered to stick around way past her scheduled hours to give me the hair of my dreams in time for my engagement pictures! I love my extensions, as well as the color she did. She had a high attention to detail and provided proper education to care for your investment, which I really appreciated. I honestly cant sing her praises enough, and she now has a very loyal client.

I have to tell you how great this place is. Taylor has in only 2 visits done so much to transform my hair! For years, my hair was brittle, broke constantly and I could not grow it out. Other salons just told me essentially that my hair was fragile and to live with it. But, Taylor has educated and empowered me so much on practical ways to bring my hair back to life. We identified habits and care routines and products that I could use to restore my hairs health and in just a few months, the changes are astonishing. I went to this location on a Saturday afternoon and saw Morgan, I was wanting a balayage style color which would have been darker on the top and I told her I wanted blonde on the bottom. She then proceeded to color my hair leaving multiple hairs of mine untouched with color. It seemed like it was an extremely rushed process on her end. At the end of my appointment my hair was DARKER then when I came in. Super NOT happy with how my hair turned out including the uneven hair cut! Would not recommend

This salon in White Bear Lake is fun, friendly, and trendy; it’s truly a treat to go there! The Salon offers so many services! My go-to is Kirsten who always does fabulous work, and I see wonderful work done by all staff there.

I made an appointment with this Salon Cheveux and the receptionist cancelled my appointment before I got there and was unwilling to fit me in. I planned my whole day around this and am so disappointed by the lack of professionalism.

I’ve never had my hair done here but have waited in the small lounge. It would be nice if it had a couple more chairs. There’s coffee and snacks which is a nice small perk.Products are plenty and nicely displayed. The front desk person has been friendly the times I’ve been at this location.It’s close to a few other useful shopping places and Wells Fargo if you need to do banking.It’s somewhat easy to get in from and back to highway 61 if there’s little to moderate traffic. Plenty of parking available.

My husband and I brought our 16 month old son in for a haircut. He was running on a 30 min nap, so he wasn’t happy. Emily was amazing with him! She kept his attention and his haircut was very cute! It impressed me that she wanted to make sure it was perfect, so she even fixed a few things while he was in my arms, and did great! We will be going back for sure!

I have been a client at Salon Cheveux for over 30 years. My stylist is Chris, and she is fabulous. I have never had a haircut, perm, or coloring that was not expertly done. Chris always offers helpful advice about the styles and products that will work best for me. The salon is attractive, the staff are highly professional and friendly, and the Aveda products are a real plus. Yes, the prices are higher than at some salons, but as they say, You get what you pay for.

Got my hair done formal style for a wedding and I needed a 1920s style! They were able to get my hair exactly how I wanted it and were so friendly!

I am a woman of a certain age without a lot of hair, not to mention that it is fine and has cowlicks and gray roots. In spite of all that, Kristen has developed a style for me that works! Bonus: I spend much less time fixing my hair now! I look forward to each appointment and Kristens beautiful smile and the all-around friendly peaceful atmosphere of the Salon, its staff and even its other guests.

I saw Lauren and she was aswesome! I chopped off over 20 inches, and dyed my hair. Through every step of the process she took her time and really seemed to care about how my hair turned out just as much as I did. She didn’t seem rushed at all. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I love this place!!! Angela does the best job with my balayage and shorter hairstyle. She’s fantastic and there’s so many little extras, like the warm towel when you get your hair washed, and the head massage. Chris has done my microblading twice and they look fantastic as well!!! It’s so amazing to not have to mess with my eyebrows everyday. And, the place is decorated so cute in there. I love it and I recommend it to all of my friends!

This is a high end $$$$ $ four star Avada salon, and I have been coming here for many years. Sami is a first class stylist with an exceptional grasp of color and hair cutting technique., and if its a brow wax you need, she does a great job of shaping brows. I would expect other stylists are as exceptional, as I see a lot of fabulous hair color and cuts leaving the salon. This includes fabulously shaped cuts for kids.

I received the worst haircut of my life at this salon. I cannot remember my stylist name, but I went in and asked to have my hair cut short, I explained I wanted the ends to touch the top of my shoulders, I then pointed out another stylists haircut and said her length. My stylist turned looked at her hair and proceeded to cut mine about 2 inches below my ear.......way more than I ever wanted it cut.I expected so much more from this salon and will NEVER go back. I hope other potential customers read this review and stay as far away from this place as possible.Absolutely worst hair cutting experience ever.

Absolutely loved my haircut it was exactly what i wanted and the scalp massage was awesome. it is a little pricey but i thought it was well worth it. i wanted to get kind of a scene haricut and last time i went to great clips and they told me my hair was not long enough (my hair was halfway down my back) i believe the gal that cut my hair was named ashley.
