I wanted to like the service from Bilder. Tech came out promptly and recommended that a control board be replaced in my fridge. Theyd order it for me and come back to install. Excellent. Every week for six weeks they called to tell me the part was on back order. We agreed to have calls every two weeks. The calls stopped entirely. A month later I find out that the board is no longer manufactured. I find this out by calling Whirlpool parts suppliers. End of Sale. I havent had a refrigerator for two months. This has been a terrible experience. I would have replaced the fridge months ago for $8,500 instead Ive wasted valuable time with worthless information from Bilder. And I still dont have a working refrigerator

My dryer has been blowing cold air for several weeks now. Forgot I had Homesmart from Xcel. Bilders was the compnay they sent out and the tech replaced a heating element and the dryer was up and running in under 20 minutes! Thanks again.

Tech from Bilders called to see if I was available sooner which was a pleasant surprise. Repair was finished fast and everything works great again.

Office staff less than helpful would not even allow me to speak with manager, even when I requested him or her. We had an appointment in June still not fixed.

Bilder Appliance is the company that has come to our house several times with the Homesmart program. Each time we have a repair it is fast and with no additional charges

A Bilders technician replaced the door gasket in our front loading washer. After the technician left we noticed the washer door was hard to close. Today a spring loaded retainer ring fell out of the door gasket. We have called a local repair technician to fix the problem. I no longer want to rely on Bilders for any repair service.

Bilder came out to repair my washer and unplugged my chest freezer next to it in the process, came back home from my vacation trip to find a freezer full of blood, of course they are not liable for food spoilage so now im out over 800$ because of them.

I owe several rental properties - I have home service plus for all my properties.Dara and Fern have done awesome jobs through the years. I met Dara several times for my rental. I met Fern for my home. They always put shoes cover or take off the shoes when they come in the side the house. This is the most important thing I look at the technician. When they respect others people properties that means they cared. That means they’re loving their job, then they will do a great service. Thanks Guys.

Though the model of my cooktop is the reason for the long wait on parts the service I received and communication from Bilder Appliance was excellent! They kept me abreast of the status of the parts throughout my wait so I never felt that I was forgotten about. The service technicians that came out both times were extremely polite, speedy and very knowledgeable. I will most definitely use them in the future! I have used Bilder Appliance several times through Xcel Home Smart for my dryer and my dishwasher. I have always received great service -prompt, respectful and effective. The service people are great at problem solving. Most recently it took a couple visits due to a persistent problem- and they took my dishwasher back to the shop and worked on the problem until it was solved. I appreciated their dedication. Great Job!!

What a great team!! They are fantastic! Had an issue with my dryer out to check ordered the part and was fixed in two days. Called Bilder when my dryer stopped working and technicians were here the next day. They even brought the parts they thought might need replacing along with them! The technicians were extremely personable and did not do any work for which I would be charged without asking me first and explaining what they were doing and why. Extremely affordable and professional, and should I ever need more repairs, I will definitely be calling again.

Ive worked with Builder Appliance Repair for almost a year now. Ive had numerous service calls and the technician always shows up on time, is professional, courteous and competent. The last few times ive had a fella named Tim who has been a godsend! Definitely a great company to work with!

The repairman was excellent. He made extra sure the replacement element in the oven fit properly and was safely installed. I would recommend a promotion and an immediate raise.

I needed service for my LG refrigerator. The freezer kept building up ice on the bottom. Fern came and did a thorough job in analyzing the problem and finding a solution. He made sure that the drain was completely clear, he opened the back of the refrigerator to make sure it was draining properly. He went over and above in making sure everything was working as it should. In addition, he put in a metal piece to help in keeping the drain open. He vacuumed out off the water that had accumulated in my refrigerator. I was very fortunate and I thank God for Fern being the repairman who answered my service call.Thank you, Bilder Appliance!

Top notch service every time they come out and they can usually come within 2 days maybe 3 at most. I am pretty sure the owner of the company is the one whose came out and serviced our appliances every time weve needed it and he has always been the most professional and is very knowledgeable and makes sure we understand what hes working on or problems hes seeing and has also given us great suggestions on new appliance purchases when needed. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would and I am very happy that Xcel works with/uses them with there HomeSmart program.

This company is a complete scam. I have Home Smart. My oven control board needs replacement the technician says. Im told ge will order the part and be back to install it.With in five minutes of the technician leaving Christiana with Bilder Appliance calls back and says as if Dec 2019 the part is no longer available.I rant of a list of vendors and she says nope they dont have the part in stock. After hanging up on the chic I click on LGs website only to find the exact part. Still available with next day shipping offered.This is a complete scam. Im outraged! I had to cuss the chic out because how TF are parts not being supplied by the actual company the appliances is made threw?Im calling the Attorney General and emailing Mayor Dayton.

Prompt friendly service, weve been going with Bilder for over 10 years.

We had a leaky fridge dripping water all over our kitchen floor. My husband attempted to fix several times but the issue always came back. After failed attempts to permanently fix we were looking at replacing it. Before replacing we called Bilder. Dave came out to take a look, immediately new what the issue was, and fixed our fridge. Great friendly service! Would highly recommend!

This is the only service company I have worked with that actually show up on time! They are very prompt which is something I appreciate. Usually a call to them means a bad day for me as a homeowner, but they are here right away and fix my problem. I have had them out on 3 different occasions on 3 different issues and I have never been disappointed.

I had Dave out to my house to repair my refrigerator when it wasn’t cooling. Not only did he come out within a few hours but he repaired it while he was here. I have no idea what I would have done had it not been for Bilder Appliance. I 100% reccomend this company.

Worst service ever!!! My dad Dave called this company to fix our dryer and I had to stay home so I could let the worker in my house Well I would put no stars but I gotta give the guy points for effort and trying to fix my dryer.... But my dryer was working before I called to have my dryer fixed ... All it was doing was making a noise and then he said it was my lint blower and he put a new one on.. Put it back together said it was good and left... Then I tried it and the drum isnt rotating now... Then I call him back quick and tellem the drum isnt rotating now.. So he comes back and says oh yea I know what I forgot to hook up and he went down and hooked whatever he forgot back up then he says for a second time its all fixed and I trusted him.. Then hour later I try it again...And nothing has changed . my dryer drum still isnt rotating ... So I call him back and no answer and no call back.. I just called him this morning too. No call back no answer ... Worst service ever!! Dont use this business ... They will fix the problem but leave you with another problem.. Im not paying for this crappy service .. My work uniforms are still wet!! I cant even wear clean uniform to work now .. So inconvenient....dont use this service

Dave has always been the guy Ive called when my appliances arent working right. He usually has a pretty good idea of what the problem is before he arrives and hes always fixed them and offered reasonable prices.

I have Xcel Homesmart coverage for my rental property. Bilder is who they hire for repairs. Sometimes I have to go directly to them. They are a great company to work with, especially if you are a Homesmart customer.If you are a landlord, be sure to tell your renter to have them contact you when making buying decisions as the technicians will not always know to call you and may ask your renter to authorize a purchase for which you have to pay the bill. Many service companies do not service rentals due to the confusion that I just described. But Bilder does.There was another incident where a service technician told my renter that I needed a new furnace. It took me a long time to explain to my renter that I cannot replace the furnace until it fails due to the terms of Homesmart. As a landlord, you may want to consider being there to avoid any issues like this. However that can be difficult when you are given a 3 hour window and you cant sit in your rental for that long like you can at your own residence.That said, BIlder has done a lot of service for me at low, wholesale pricing and no service fee, so for that I give them 5 stars and will continue to use them.
