Like many I was hit by some financial hardships due to COVID-19 and fell behind on payments and they stopped picking up my trash, so I made a payment of what I could. I called to verify if that’s why they stopped picking it up and she said yes. I asked why I wasn’t notified that my services would be stopped like all utility companies must do. She said they have 7,000 customers to keep track of and it’s not her obligation. I’m cancelling service immediately due to the poor customer service. I totally understand I was not paying the bill on time and that’s my fault, but don’t be disrespectful like that especially when I was trying to figure out exactly how the bill works.
I am having a bad experience as a new customer and would like to cancel and get a refund. They are not picking up my garbage and they do not return phone calls. Do not use this service. It is very frustrating and the service is poor.
I missed a pick up this morning. I called to discuss. A very nice professional lady answered the phone and sent her crew up to my residence within a few hours. The crew also took my old Christmas Tree. No issues - ever! Very pleased. Plus their pricing.
Have been trying for a month to reset my password on web site to pay my bill and web site does not send email to reset. Tried to call and let them know, 0 for operator and no one picks up, 3 for billing and it says that the mailbox is full and cannot accept any more messages. Why is weekly house garbage pickup not listed as a service?
Garbage doesnt always get picked up when it does they leave a mess in my driveway.
The most affordable and reliable company in the area. They even go so far as to replace the lid on my can. Its the little things that get my attention, so this service gets 5 stars from me.
Excellent service. Equipment appears clean and in good condition. Employees are friendly, neat and dressed professionally. Always on time, and there are only 2 holidays that they do not pickup on a regular schedule. And if your scheduled pick is not Thanksgiving(Thursday ) there’s only 1 day. Price is very reasonable as well!!
Won’t answer the phone and won’t pick up a couch til august bad customer service hope this place goes bankrupt switching back to republic services
Wish I could give less then 1 star. Worst garbage company out.. just pay a little extra to go with a good company. The workers are lazy and will leave bags behind. And alot more complaints. Run if you thinking about going with the .
When we switched to Jochum’s, I had no complaints. They were timely with their pickups and we were very pleased. The last 2 months, I have nothing good to say. Missed pickups, weeks of garbage not picked up, calls and complaints to hear they will send someone and they don’t. Our garbage was picked up once during the month of December and today we should’ve had another pick up and we didn’t. So, here’s to starting the month of January with piles of garbage and an unreliable company. I should add, we have NEVER missed or been late on a payment.
Rude customer service from missed pickup guys. Really shouldn’t be making calls to the customers because he isn’t working for the customer. Missed week over week over week.... then wanted to charge a $1 a bag for anything over 8 bags. How dare you even try that!!! They even gave false information to the PSC to cover their tail!!! Took ZERO ownership for their failure to pick up rather than just apologize and correct their mistake!!Customer service doesn’t even answer the phone after the first time you call, but rather goes to VM which is absolutely the worst customer service you can provide. They’d get ZERO stars if I could choose that option. Their svc is below par.

My trash wasnt picked up . I called the office, and I was subsequently told I didnt pay my bill. Funny part is I paid with a check and my bank account shows Jochums cashed the check. Clearly this company cant keep track of its receivables and lacks a competent staff / owner.

Ive had this service for years. I was grandfathered in because we live in the house that was my grandmother and mothers. Originally when we moved in, it use to be 2 guys with a pick up truck and they never missed picking up, EVER. I never had any real issues with the pick up itself over there years but now that the old man passed on and theyve been bought out I dont get my bills regularly, Im not exaggerating when I say I got one bill that had both January 2019 and February 2019 on it and I havent received a bill since! I call and leave messages and no one ever calls me back, my trash goes weeks sometimes without getting picked up and the machine says if your trash has not been picked up it could be from a delinquent payment well if I could get an invoice on time maybe I could pay the damn bill. They rarely ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! I leave messages and honest to God they never return my call, I always make multiple calls before getting anyone. I just want my customer number so I can sign up for online bill pay and never worry about getting a paper invoice again. I swear If republic service wasnt so expensive I would switch!!
If i could give no stars i would !! There billing is so messed up turned my sevices off and didnt even owe then didnt answer there phone for over a week . So my trash didnt get picked up for 2 weeks then wonted me to still pay for the 2 weeks they didnt give me services. Iam calling BBB immediatly and canceled my services. The grass is not always greener on the other side . #youpayforwhatuget
Have been a customer for about a year now and it’s been relatively a decent experience besides being pre-billed 2-3 months at a time. Well my opinion of this company has changed, and all because I didn’t pay a pre-billed bill for July and August on June 26th, the supposed die date. It has been a measly two weeks and I discovered they didn’t take my trash on the normal day. When I called this morning I received a snootish response from a lady that it was discontinued due to nonpayment?!?! Are you serious?!? Is this real life?!? Lol...Not even a courtesy call or letter to let me know the deal. All I can say is, pathetic...
They pick up every week on time and very nice gentlemen. They are dependable.
