I am a real estate attorney, but we dont handle local residential deals, so when I went searching for a surveyor to stake out my property lines for a fence I hit google and found IG Consulting. It was a small project with a tight timeline requested right around the Holidays. I talked to Kevin and he couldnt be better about managing my expectations about the schedule. The surveyor came out earlier than expected and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!!

We were buying a home and found out late in the process that we needed an elevation certificate to obtain flood insurance. Pam, Kevin and John at IG Consulting, Inc. were very helpful in scheduling and turning around the documentation that we needed in a short amount of time!

I am a real estate developer. I hired IG Consulting Inc. to perform civil engineering design services for a multifamily project in Barrington IL. This consultant designed a stormwater detention system without knowing critical site information, such as the groundwater elevation. As a result, they did not design the system according to the manufacturers requirements. The system ultimately failed and had to be redesigned and repaired. Ive incurred in excess of $150,000 in damages as a result of their design errors. The engineer does not accept any responsibility and I intend to sue for damages.
