How many times am I gonna get hung up on? i’ve called at least 5 times regarding something very important and time sensitive and they’ve literally hung up on me multiple times, worst employees i’ve ever encountered.
Jean was awesome, so kind and helpful. Made my trip to the post office a quick one! I’ll come back to this location over any others
Drops off mail but refuses to pick up outgoing mail on a constant basis
Not sure what the guys problem was at the front desk but he wouldn’t even seal my packages for me. I had three packages that just needed a strip of tape on the top and he basically said he couldn’t do anything for me. Ridiculous.
After having some crazy issues with an unusual mail carrier, I got total care and compassionate service from Ben at the Wheat Ridge P.O. He absolutely went out of his way to help. Employees like this are rare and the USPS should be glad to have him to say the least. Thank you Ben.
After moving into a new house a year ago, we constantly get mail for multiple previous residents. Consistently return the mail and have posted a notice in the mailbox specifying who mail should not be delivered to. The mail carriers do not care and continue to deliver mail that should not be delivered.
It takes me a lot for me to write a negative review, but after all the hard aches and non communication from this post office, I want to warn anyone that is willing to use this location. I have been waiting for 4 weeks for my priority 2 day mail to come to my location. The first thing that went wrong was the label. Now, this is normally not a big deal, but since my label over lapped another label bar code section, my package for the first 2 weeks went from Washington to Oregon to Denver. I had to call the office multiple times and spoke with one of their staff, Ben, to try to get this resolved. After the 2 weeks of waiting, they were able to get a staff member to fix my label rather than a machine distributing where it needed to go. I’m thinking, great, this nonsense is finally over. Wrong. As soon as it arrived to Denver, it went to dead mail. At this point, I’m confused and was reassured that since the label had been fixed and heading to Denver by Ben, it would be at my location within days. I called the post office 7 times that week in hope to get this resolved and asked why it went to dead mail. The worst part was that I had called almost everyday and asked to speak to Ben, which he totally ignored my phone call till Friday (mind you, I’ve been calling since Monday) after calling him 3 separate times. I didn’t get a call back from Ben until I threatened to speak to his supervisor. When Ben finally called me back, he told me he had no clue where it was, why it went there, and that he couldn’t help other than making sure I submit a lost package claim and emailing it to the lost package center in Atlanta/San Francisco. At this point, my frustration is high and I asked why it took him this long to respond to me, which he couldn’t give me a straight answer. I had to get my husband involved with this since I couldn’t get anything resolved, and was able to escalade this faster to Ben’s direct supervisor and manager, but still couldn’t get it resolved. No matter who was working on our case, no one could find anything new other than what was available online. I’ve never had such bad experience with anything as bad as this post office, and pretty sure this package got stolen due to the value in it. If anyone is considering to use this post office to steer clear and don’t trust them with your mail. They will steal it and claim it under dead mail and will give you the turn around for weeks. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!
This post office is convenient and pleasant to go to. The staff are all friendly and competent. The service is quick and efficient. They have a box in lobby to mail packages if there is a long line. They are fully stocked with everything you can need. I highly recommend it.
Have been dealing with a lost package for approximately 2 weeks now have spoken to everyone all the way up to the BRANCH POSTMASTER NANCY and all I ever get is that they are trying to get a hold of someone in the dead letter office....for 2 weeks?! Now I’m getting suspicious questions that lead me to believe it was stolen and I’m not being told about it. The fact that the manager of the entire location supposedly can’t get a hold of anyone at the other office to look for this tells me she is LYING or INCOMPETENT.
This has happened several times in the past few years!!!! The mail carrier walks past my house and does not look to see if there is mail in my mailbox. I tried yelling for him to turn around to come back and retrieve my mail. He did not respond. I suspect he was listening to music on his ear buds and couldnt hear me.They are getting paid to provide a service so why do I need to take my mail to the post office due to the carriers negligence??????
They say that people only write reviews when they are unhappy, but I try to also write them when Im happy and I have nothing bad to say about this Post Office Location. Ive lived in this area for more than 20 years and have never had to complain about the delivery, pick up or even lobby service. The employees are really nice and know what they are doing. I have had only good experiences with this location.
Teice bow my son has been sent a vard from his grandmother and the first one we never got. We received the one today but its funny the envelope was cut open and the money from inside is gone.. sad day when that happens to a 6 yr old.
My mom had to get a package sent out overnight and the staff waited for her to get there even though she wouldnt make it till right when they closed. Ben was amazing and the rest of the staff kind and helpful. The postal service should take ques from this office. Thanks so much.
Post Office is just one of those places youd expect poor service, but I was amazed how friendly and helpful the staff was here. Shout out to Ben for going above and beyond to make sure I got a package before it went out on the trucks, it really saved me a lot of trouble today. It would have been so easy not to help in my situation... Thank you thank you.
Answering service here is horrible. I waited for over an hour and a half (estimated wait time 40 mins) and still got no answer. Mail is not being delivered to new address so Im going to have to stop by there tomorrow. Not anticipating a helpful visit but what else can you do? (Shrugs)
Fast service nice people
Three clerks on a Tuesday mroning after Columbus Day, plus a fourth clerk asking people in line what they needed and helping those she could (and there were several). My clerk was pleasant and professional, and the others seemed so also.
24 hour lobby is closed, hours are still 24/7 on USPS website
Well staffed with courteous clerks, good parking and convenient access. The only drawback to this location is that it is in a small shopping area and the drivers behave like morons.
Not the best post office ever. They typically only have one person working at the counter, no matter how long the line is & theyre always slow. They also have issues delivering mail correctly.
I lived 2yrs at my apartment in wheat ridge, the piece of mail missing that wasnt tracked gets lost. The envelope contains important items within it but wasnt certified, i called the wheat ridge post office. A women named April answered and was unpleasant and very unhelpful, she wasnt listening to anything i was saying. I had no problem with the mail up until now and i requested to file a report/complaint and she told me because the mail wasnt certified that i couldnt do either. The staff at this location are nice but the April women shouldnt be working there if she cant simply listen an help. Very upset with this outcome and plan to complain to her supervisor.
I had an item that I bought on eBay. The tracking number specified that the item was delivered on Saturday. I was here all day and did not see the package. So I called the post office and asked if the possibility was that it was delivered somewhere else. The lady that answered the phone is named April. The lady was rude, condescending, interrupted me and acted very unprofessional. I asked to speak to her boss she refused to let me talk to anybody. She yelled at me and said that I was being rude and interrupting her. Ive never been treated so poorly by anybody in the industry before. Worst customer service ever! So, if you ever call this post office and you get a lady named April trust me she is not somebody you want to talk to.
Rude and unhelpful. I expected better customer service not a snarky grump who couldnt keep his hate for people to himself. Will not be going to this particular location. if you arent a people person, dont work up front
One of the most pleasant usps experiences I’ve ever had. Fast and helpful service.
So quick and the employees are very nice!
Its aight.
Rude and unhelpful.Dont waste a second a this location. Unfriendly, rude, no help. It must be pretty easy to work there though since anytime you have a problem they say it isnt their fault and all you can do is call an 800 number or write an email to deal with the problems theyve caused you. Worst location in Denver.
It lets me know the accurate directions to get the postage that matters to me is very important!Thank you very much!
Cost efficient and Always helpful and friendly regardless how big the line of roudy, have it NOW, entitled customers is. During the Lunch, after work and December Holidays expect to wait.
I arrived at 1:59 PM to find the door locked. They closed early. I think that’s poor service.
Had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday April 9th according to the tracking number. By the end of day on 4/9, it said Status not updated but that it was also Out for Delivery. Here it is, April 14th, and I still havent received my package. When I call to inquire about it, she says, oh your postal worker must have forgotten to scan it, but he remembers delivering it to your mailbox. sorry. You can contact the seller (in CHINA) and let them know the postal worker delivered and forgot to scan, so you never got it. He REMEMBERS delivering a small package on Saturday to my house? Come on... Guess what magically shows up in my mailbox this afternoon before the rest of the mail came?! MY PACKAGE! Shady, WR PO, Shady! Maybe you should have a lesson on SCANNING PACKAGES WHEN DELIVERED.
Its a government facility. Service ranges from subpar to excellent and from quick to get in and out to wondering why the line isnt moving. Never seem to have enough employees at the counter.
Asked for a little extra tape on my priority mail box and you would think I was asking for free postage.
Tracked a check that arrived to them on aThurs. Didnt see it until Tuesday. I stay less than a quarter mile away.
Worst customer service I have ever received and it was from a manager. I had mail that was not delivered to me for a week. I finally went in person to find out what happened to my mail. The lady at the counter immediately passed me off to a manager. After going to look for my missing mail in the back for about 5min, he returns to tell me he cant find it. When I asked what was going to be done to find my missing mail he told me I should all the sender and have them resend it to me. SERIOUSLY! That was his response and then he walked away.
Dont know about staff but carrier sucks! mis delivered mail almost daily! maybe he should quit vaping on route! have talked to postmaster before, to no avail. what the hell do you do?
Very RUDE, would not look up my receipt even though ive done it multiple times at other locations. All they want to do is leave early and dont care if your packages get to your desired destination.
Fast service
Saturday before a long holiday for PO, even the machine was not working to provide weight/postage for a package.
Great customer service 👍
Not prefect but good enough every time.
I’ve got one word for you... e-mail.
Extremely poor and rude customer service
