Deb is extremely unprofessional and rude. Discriminated me based on how I looked. Told me to put on a mask when two other people on the store weren’t wearing one. If you are to enforce something then enforce it with everyone. She ruined my entire day, claimed she was the supervisor. There was an issue cashing a money order, one worked out fine but one didn’t, (a gift someone gave me) and she whispered to her coworker and handed it to me and said here can’t do anything with this. So I asked well what am I supposed to do? And she didn’t care to help direct me in the next step. I asked if she can call another branch for assistance and she said “of course not.” I never felt so unfairly treated in my life. So I told her it’s not acceptable to talk to people in the manner she did and ran out. I’ll never come back to this location again as long as deb works here. I feel bad for the associates if this is their leader. She leads a poor example of illustrating customer service and needs retraining or progressive discipline badly.
MARY ANN IS EXTREMELY RUDE SHE REFUSED ME SERVICE AND REFUSED TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ABOUT GETTING A PASSPORT. THEN PROCEEDED TO HELP EVERYONE BEHIND ME WHO WAS IN THE SANE SITUATION.
Very helpful and thorough with unique change of address issue.
Rude postal worker …presumed I was a minority …needs training to be more customer oriented
The clerk with the burgundy hair color is my favorite. Super nice!!
Horrendous attitudes, misinformed and rude workers.I was told I needed an appointment to renew my passport. When I asked if I could schedule an appointment for that day, I was told NO, that I would need to go onto the USPS website and schedule it there. The USPS website specifically states you do not need an appointment for passport renewal and the website is malfunctioning so you cannot make an appointment even if you try.I would give zero stars if I could for misinformation as well as, rude, unhelpful workers who dont want to be bothered in doing their jobs.
Always a great experience with this post office, Nicki helped me today and explained everything clearly and also check other options for me as well which helped me out. All of the staff is stellar here. Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen at the USPS.
The reason for this review is due to just one person. Marianne. I needed a passport renewed for my daughter. I was there by 11:30 and got all the paperwork looked by another extremely pleasant woman (she also took the photos for my daughter- thanks). My daughter, who was coming from a class and was driving to this post office for the first time, came in five minutes before noon (the time passport services stop). By the time we got to the counter it was three minutes to noon and Marianne was quite upset that we were making her look at the paperwork three minutes before noon! When asked, we told here we wanted photos - she rolled her eyes and was very unpleasant - she got the nice lady to take the photos. Kept sighing, pouting, made no eye contact and was very upset - really? Upset that she has to do her job? All others at the PO were very friendly and pleasant - except for this individual. Been a resident for 18 years - not once have I faced this.
One of the workers who is a woman with short blonde hair does not wear a mask to protect you. She is rude and does not care. Go to a different post office.
Marian (Marianne?) was working at the counter without a face mask. When I asked where her mak swas, she told, If you want someone with a mask, go somewhere else. Im special. When I asked for her name, she said, Go ahead and report me. Everyone else does. Then she took off her smock and left. The other clerk who helped me was very courteous. If Marian has such a poor attitude, why hasnt she been fired by now???
This is a cute little place and the people are so nice. Thank you for helping me out! I appreciate all of you.
The only reason why they get this many stars is because the employee who finally rang me out was the only pleasant employee. I walked in asking to ship two boxes and this being my first time. I was told to go and put the box together and when I asked if there was tape the employee told me well it depends if your shipping it priority mail then well decide if you need tape. I dont see how that matters because Im going to need tape regardless but anyway I wrote up my label got back in line and got Debbie. By far the worst, rudest person ever. I walked up and she stared at me did not even greet me. I told her I needed to ship these boxes (with the box not put together thanks to the first employee because I didnt have the tape) and she said well you need to step aside and make the box and basically threw the tape at me. As I was putting the box together I heard her treat the customer behind with the same disdain she had just shown me. Sighing out loud because he needed to ship something to China and didnt fill out a customs form beforehand. And snapped at him to take his box. Luckily after getting in line a third time I got Berth, I believe thats her name and she was the only person to treat me with any ounce of respect but not enough for me to ever come here again.
Mailed my daughter a Christmas card and placed it in the drop box outside of the post office. (My daughter lives in Wethersfield). After well over a week she had not received the card. It was returned to me return to sender. I went to the post office and asked why it was returned to me when the address was correct and it had a stamp? I was told.....Sorry, it happens.
First timer for the wethersfield office. Had a good service done, the lady at the desk (Haj) was really helpful.I got money order done, bought some envelopes and finally posted stuffs. She was clear and explained much about the cost, tracking etc.All envelops are of same cost approximate $8 irrespective of the size. One can get prepaid return envelopes too.The post can be expedited for quicker delivery with extra cost. There were not many staffs (folks on adjacent counters were in and out) available so she was juggling with various incoming customers. The office was little difficult to spot manually on the highway but easier on google maps.
The employee name Bert! in the wethersfield post office area spent 2 hours look up a recite that was over 6 weeks ago! And found it when a ebayer wanted to pull a scam for a few hundred dollars saying they Never receive the item. perfect example of quality above and beyond customer service.Thank you so much for all your hard work!
First time that I went to this post office, the lady I had was completely rude and unhelpful. Got annoyed because I didnt have my packaging ready and wasnt sure what I needed to fill out for shipping a package overseas. FYI, thats why Im at a post office. Also kept telling me I needed to step to the side because I was filling out the paperwork? Really? then she began complaining about the amount of customers entering. Hope she enjoys that pay check because thats your job.
Always Charging much more then prepaid postage!Your better off sticking to prepaid postage.feel like being Robbed! there postage should be cheaper then other website prepaid postage like Ebay and others. you save a lot more!
Very helpful personal! Answered to all my questions and made my day by high quality service! Good luck guys!
Bad attitude. I needed to get a passport for my infant and the representative gave us attitude as soon as we walked in. Decided to drive to the East hartford location, much friendlier. Unacceptable behavior here.
Debbie was nothing but rude to me and other customers in line. She was very unhelpful and made me feel like a total idiot. It is always a miserable experience coming here.
Jim is the best. 5 stars to that guy.
Im disappointed to say that unfortunately the employees at this post office are very unfriendly and plain miserable. I honestly dread going to this post office. Ive gone to the Rocky Hill post office before and its a totally different experience. Much more pleasant and helpful. I just went to the Wethersfield post office today and one of the employees was giving very short and snappy answers to a simple question . Another employee acted annoyed and made a rude comment when I took my envelope out of the scale to put some tape on it! What happened to having manners and good customer service? I dont care how much you hate your job, just be a decent human being. I never write bad reviews but its always like that there.
Pretty good service. Been here couple times and they all explained well for something I dont really understand.
They were helpful in letting me know what I need to get a new passport.
My mails been intercepted for MONTHS!
Love this post office. Never a line. Friendly people. Always a good experience.
Berths took the time to find call me back after locating an unscented piece of mail that I had to send to the DMV. She was very polite and professional
Always good customer service❗❗😓
They dont answer the phone. I need local help tracking a package.
The women that work at this facility are rude and unprofessional
Horrible place. Never pick up the phone and once they do they immediately place you on hold.
The entrance is not on the silas deane highway. It is on beaver road.
Good and quick service.
Very professional and helpful.
The WORST attitudes ever! The lady behind the counter said and I quote, “you need to move” while I was waiting for a receipt. If you don’t want to work with people, maybe customer service isn’t your ideal job. RUDE!
Says it opens at 8;30 but is closed at 8:50
Poor staff attitude
Rude Employees.
