Mark Smith with Window Wiz was wonderful! He immediately returned my call after I left a message explaining that the external lock on our Gliding Door was trapping us inside our basement. He grasped the problem right away and worked out a time the next day to come out and look at it. He let us know that it may still be under warranty for labor since we had only had it about a year. He came at the time he said he would and immediately set to work on what looked to me to be a complicated task. He had to take the exterior lock off and exchange tiny parts and gears on the inside. He replaced that, installed a new latch that the company had sent me when I called them earlier about the problem, and adjusted everything so that the door worked perfectly. He discovered a missing screw that the original installers (not Andersen people) had omitted and replaced the receiving plate which fortunately he had on his truck. He also discovered our screen had been installed upside down originally, so he corrected that which involved removing the handle, flipping it around, and adjusting the rollers. He also provided the screen door locking mechanism that I didnt even know existed since the original installers never installed it. He was at our house over an hour - and didnt charge a penny! He said this could all be billed to Andersen which he took care of. Ive never seen such a level of service from a locksmith, contractor, installer, etc. He was super nice to our dogs, too! He has a thorough knowledge of Andersen products and knows how to fix anything. A rare find these days. Our door works so much better - it now feels like the quality I was hoping for when I bought it. I am more encouraged to buy Andersen windows now that I know that Mark is available if anything every needs fixing. Thanks, Mark!

SENT MARK SMITH.HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT .REASON I SAID HE IS PATIENT IS BECAUSE,HE ORDERED 3 MORE TIMED UNTAIL ANDERSON COMPANY FINALLY GOT THEM RIGHT IN APRIL OF 2018. 3 TIMES HE DROVE OVER 50 MINUTES ONE WAY TO GET TO MY PROPERTY. We were NOT impressed. We scheduled an appointment, called and confirmed in the morning, and he was still a NO-SHOW! After contacting us later in the evening, stating he had car trouble, we rescheduled for the next day. We called again to confirm, this time only getting voice mail - we left a message. This time was also a no-show. They didnt even call to give an explanation, or to apologize. HORRIBLE customer service. I DO NOT recommend this business.
