I took the 5 week course Entrepreneurship for Creatives. It was excellent. Angela Atkinson was the teacher, and she has first hand experience as a creative entrepreneur. We learned practical skills in analysis, marketing, accounting, and how to set up your business entity. We had assignments each week that were applicable to our specific business, which was a lot of work, but also exactly what I needed to do. It was also helpful to connect with others who are experiencing the same things and help each other brainstorm and move forward. The course was well organized, and even though it had to be done remotely we were able to make relationships and connections with the instructors and classmates. Well worth my time!

I wish I had known about the SBDC when I first started my private practice 10 years ago. But better late than never, and in this case, it has been a true godsend finding and working with Jesse Esparza. I cannot recommend this wonderful service and Jesse in particular, enough. Working with the Denver SBDC has been a great experience for me. I have had the opportunity to work with 2 great mentors, Nancy Burnett and Mike Saunders, both of whom have been very good at giving advice and presenting resources that are available to new business owners. They have been able to pick up quickly on what we are trying to accomplish at Spin Ups and offer great perspective as a result.

In life, you generally have to figure things out for yourself with spotty, inconsistent, or nonexistent help from others. But thats not true at SBDC. They have CPAs, lawyers, and business mentors, all available for free. I was impressed by the quality and quantity of services offered. They are very friendly too!

Amazing place and lot of helpful people with professional skills to help small businesses to start up and grow. They are FREE, and located inside of Front Range Community College. If you have a small business, you should call and make a FREE one on one meeting to help you, guide you. Teri is the council who currently helping me of my business Grace Yu Art Studio, and it really guides me out to my mess of how I run my own business.

We have been in business for 5 years now thanks to the absolute wonderful resources and people, especially Glenn Plagens, at the SBDC. It is amazing that someone else cares about your business succeeding to the degree that they do.We could never afford the quality of the information, training, and guidance that they provide.
