Great service and selection for everything needed for skiing. They helped equip four of us at different levels (entry-level and up) of skiing and snowboarding. We got personal help (shout outs to Alyssa!) during the busy part of the New Years holiday for every step of the process with honest input factoring in our needs, wants, and rental prices. Easy to understand warranty and return policies as well. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting to hit the slopes, new and experienced skiers/snowboarders alike!

So the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about what we would need to comfortably hit the slopes. We had 4 different types of skier in our group and they took care of all of us wonderfully. Highly recommend. Much better prices than renting on the resort.

They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time on our vacation. The lake we were going to go to was dirty after being filled up again. Mark recommended a different lake. Then called them to get us all the information regarding pets, water temperature, hours, etc.We returned right at closing time. My wife and I rented a wave runner last weekend for a anniversary camping trip. The unit was clean and ready for a walk around. Trey did a fantastic job of explaining everything from operation of ski to the what its. The pre-rental inspection was very thoroughly videod which made me very comfortable that I wouldnt be charged for prior damages. We were very nervous about causing any damages but we followed advice from Trey about loading, unloading and we never ran it in less than 4ft of water....great place and great people. So much fun

CSR has great equipment for all your outdoor adventures, not to mention they rent out all the essentials you need, including helmets and nice thick winter coats .Thank you CSR for having everything we need for our Mt.Elbert summit adventure . Justin and Mark went above and beyond with helping us get our gear together and prepare us for the great unknown .Justin informed us on all the things we should know and took his time to show us how to properly use the equipment. Went in here to browse some child skis to get my our son started on the mountain but ended up buying him a Neversummer & Burton kids/grom set up!At 10 months, the boots are keeping him up on the board and hes already been on the slopes. This place has a ton of gear and even more things to rent (ATVs, other outdoor gear).

Was here on 5/6/21 and this guy was there being a total jerk about snowboard boots to the manager. The manager handled it really well and the guy who helped me was also super nice and it was his birthday. I was there to rent a wake board and a double person tube. Good experience over all.

Extremely nice and efficient staff!It was my very first time skiing and I chose this place because it was close to my house. I could not have had a better experience! I believe we were helped by Justan? Justin? He was sooo patient and kind and answered all of my questions. I had to get a different size of boot several times because my legs wouldnt fit. I was so embarrassed because my calves are a bit larger. He didnt make me feel bad about it at all and instead just worked with me and found boots that fit well! Thank you for relieving so much of my stress around going skiing for the first time. All of the guys in the shop were angels and I plan to go back soon!

This place is awesome! I rented paddle boards from here and they came with all the equipment I needed. The staff was chill and provided instructions well. My lady lost her ore/paddle but they were more than happy to provide another one and told us we would settle it all when we returned the equipment. Which I appreciated because we just wanted to get back out there. Ill be coming here from now on for all my sporting rentals! (P.S. We did pay for the piece of equipment we lost.)

I stopped in because I’m looking for new ski boots. Dan spent well over an hour with me trying on ski boots. Suggested I try on several brands. He also helped me last year with my skies. OMGosh his customer service is outstanding, you don’t find this often. I truly appreciate him taking time to educate me on ski boots. Thanks Dan

Awesome ski and snowboard rental place. This was my go-to rental place during my 2 month visit to Denver.The staff was amazing, knowledgable, and friendly throughout my many visits to Colorado Sports Rent, and they always went out of the way to make sure I had a great fit for my snowboard rental.I think this might be the best value ski/snowboard rental in the Denver metro area. They also have a generous window for rental pickups and rentals ranging from 2PM the day prior to your pickup, to noon the day following your dropoff.

The only reason it is not 5 stars is because I was disappointed with my rental. Mark was very accommodating and fixed it. I will rent here again.

Ive been using the services offered at Colorado Sports Rent for almost 3 years and I can say with confidence that the team here is at the top of their game. With so many options to choose from in this market, skip the big box chains down the road and keep it local. These guys are great.I recently dropped off my skis for a tune-up and they were excellent. They described exactly what needed to be done and why without an up-sell. The turnaround was quick and I was very happy with the end result. Having used CSR for season rentals in the past, it was great to see them take as much care with my new personal gear as they do with their own.Well be back!

I went in to look for snowboard boots. The staff spent a lot of time helping me with fit.Ive been wearing the wrong size for years. The guy working promised me that my life would change and he was right. Turns out Im not a bad snowboarder, just was wearing too big boots!!

Love this local gem! Highly recommend renting gear from here before you head out to the mountains. Not only are their prices some of the best in town for rentals, but they also use Never Summer snowboards and quality boots and bindings! I also bring my snowboards here to get waxed, only $12 for a hot wax (by hand) and $18 for a wax and edge tune! My boards look better than brand new when I get them back. The employees here really know what they are talking about when it comes to skiing and snowboarding! 11/10 for this place!

I got my snowboard tuned here. Staff was incredibly friendly. My board was ready by the next day. Looking around the store prices seemed fair for new equipment. Definitely going back next time I need some snow gear.

They were really helpful. They understood our situation and charged for only one day. Helmets goggles were reasonable. globe, you need to go early or lucky to get a good condition. Ski it self was not bad.

Awesome service. I was visiting from out of town, and I regularly snowshoe at home. I have my own pair, but decided not to travel with them, and rent instead. The snowshoes were top quality for a very low price. And the attendant asked all the right questions. We were able to rent the day before our outing And return the morning after. This allowed us a lot of freedom for choosing places to snowshoe. Awesome service and good quality merchandise, I highly recommend.

DO NOT RECOMMEND HORRIBLE! will not be back took 5 whole days to tune my board. Paid $35 for a premium tune. The staff wouldn’t talk to me other that yes no or in the back type of answers. My board still has scratches that were not filled in and excess wax that I can see and scratch off easily with my hands. If you want somewhere with good service and does a good job and quickly go to Christy sports just down the street they also have a lot more selection and quality stuff! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Prices cannot be beat and the gear is top notch (splurge for the demo gear, since the prices are so competitive). The staff is very nice and will help fit your boots. On the way to/from slopes if you are commuting from Denver, so not too out of the way.

My wife and I did season ski rentals here and could not be more satisfied. They are very helpful in helping select the proper ski and you can come back and exchange when conditions change. Prices are also very reasonable.

These guys are fantastic, always willing to go the extra mile to help. With four growing kids, renting skis is always an adventure but they are always willing to take as much time as we need to get everybody in the right gear. The owner is amazing, very knowledgeable and patient. He was also really helpful in helping me find the right boots to buy, explaining the difference between mens and womens boots really well. Plus they are very affordable. Weve been renting here for several years and always very happy!

Brought my skis in for tuning. Didn’t know I shouldn’t store them on cement. They had a fair amount of rust and they look awesome now! They did a great job, price was amazing and they’re knowledgeable. Will go back.

The team here is awesome. I’ve had my skis tuned here several times and the guys always do a killer job and take the time to explain the work they’ve done. They’re also lightning quick turning around tune jobs. My friend got season rentals from here and loves them. Glad to see them growing. I’d much rather give them my money than a large chain. Hoping they’ll start renting snowmobiles in the future.

Got some of our snowboards here before hitting the slopes. Employees were very friendly and recommended the best fit based on our interest. Prices were about average rental price. They had a huge variety of equipment to choose from. Would definitely come back in the future.

If you want poor customer service this is the place to go. Staff from the management to the workers are incompetent at answering questions and being polite. Especially when it comes to questioning their policies, they cannot provide answers to where the polices are located for reference on their website.Reserved 4 sets of equipment for an AM pick up came in at 11:45AM to pick up the rentals and was told I would be charged for a full day unless I came back 2 hours later at 2:00. After trying to get clarification on where this policy is stated, I was only told that is the policy and thats how it is. Even though nowhere on my reservation paperwork or website does it state this policy. God forbid you ask a question and expect a decent answer minus the attitude.Upon reading other reviews seems this is par for the course in this establishment.You get what you pay for here, discounted rates equals discounted shoddy service. Better off going to Christy Sports on Wadsworth or even Crystal Ski Shop in Boulder. They are happy to explain the policies and procedures without being condescending. Save yourself the time and money by going elsewhere.If the staff or management of this business cared at all about customer retention they would be better at their jobs.As an avid outdoor family we were planning on utilizing the proximity of this location frequently throughout the year, unfortunate for them that they could not be kind enough to make longtime customers out of us with what would have been our initial transaction.However I am happy to drive a little further and pay a little more for a business that actually values customer service as an integral part of the way they run their business.

I started out renting here when I was first getting into the sport. Its so refreshing to rent quality equipment at good prices. You wont get a brand and perfectly tuned rental at any of those other mainstream shops. I recently brought in my snowboard for a tune up and Dan did the best job. Its so awesome to have someone put that much time into your deck.

Rented 2 four-wheelers today from Brad and had a wonderful experience. He suggested going up to Central City and the trails were incredible, not to mention the views. First time here and we got Groupon discount for demo skis for 17 bucks a day. Guys a were also very accommodating trying to help everyone as fast as possible. 5 stars. Were from Texas. Awesome job. And skis were great.

The price and the location were perfect! The equipment was very good as well. I called a few times and they were very friendly and helpful! The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because one of the staff members that helped us with the boots was super rude! He talked to us in a very disrespectful way! Someone should let him know that people who RENT skiis are not experts!

Unfortunately I cannot tell you what was the managers name because he did not introduce himself. I needed a board for one day, but they said they have to charge me for two because I wanted to take it an hour and a half early. Have two kiddos and place is not on the way, so I relented (not like they could have rented it to someone for an hour).. its OK, though.. until first run and the boots/bindings dug into my left ankle during right turns. So I took the gear back right away. Was cordial, didnt blame them, but did ask for a refund. Had a two day rental, the logical thing would be is to either refund the purchase or allow to have another two-day rental? Nope. These guys dont care about customers or about being fare. As soon as there is a little issue they look to screw you whichever way they can... not cool.

Been coming here since I was a kid...family owned & Brad is there at least 5 days a week. Best equipment at too cheap a price. Love these guys!

Reserved 6 sets of equipment in advance. All were ready, virtually brand new, labeled for each user and nice quality. Would go again.

Called at 6:45 talked to a lady explained I was about to arrive right before 7 she said no worries there would be a few people hanging out and they would help me out. I show up at 6:58 doors are locked and employees inside look at me but dont acknowledge me. I try calling and they ignore the phone. I patiently wait outside and they come to the door and say they have turned off their computers and cant help me. Right after that all employees walk out and think the whole situation is humorous. Needless to say this place must not value customer service, Im glad I didnt spend a dollar here.

Wonderful experience. I rented three days worth of gear (skis, poles, boots) and damage insurance for $41. The man who fitted my boots told me the best way to get the most comfortable experience, eg how to buckle them so they didnt rub etc. I am definitely going to be renting from here more and recommending them to my friends. Only downside, they close at seven so if you want to return your gear after a day of skiing/boarding, you probably wouldnt be able to make it down because of traffic. They do morning returns though which alleviates that problem and they dont charge extra for that.

Its a small business doing big things. To be able to reserve online & have your gear waiting is huge! Never Summer & Libtech Snowboards and current year model Salomon skis! Youre gonna pay at least twice their price on the mountain and the equipment is not nearly as nice. Not a big corporate entity, its a local shop with experienced staff & great prices! In the summer you can rent fantastic jet skis & powerful jet boats! They make things pretty easy for you to have all the fun! Customers can be grouchy, be patient, you’ll get taken care of.

My boyfriend and I rented paddleboards to go to a local lake. We drove around for two hours to find a lake but they all had lightning warnings. This store was kind enough to give us a refund since we couldnt use them. Definitely going back on a sunny day!

The fella helping us today for finding my gfs boot size was very knowledgeable!! I learned quite a bit about womens equipment that Id never really thought about before. Looking forward to getting her out on the mountain for way less than renting in the mountains.
