I dont have any experience with their mechanic abilities so if you have a difficult job at hand get a quote and maybe give these guys a try. That said my car was exhibiting textbook symptoms of an easy problem. I brought it in just to confirm it wasnt something small and the problem was real. They racked my car quickly and within 30 minutes of handing over my keys called and confirmed the problem I suspected. I was told they charge a flat fee on any service of $90 due immediately. The high price was for a full point inspection. In order to fix the problem I was quoted $400.This is by far the most expensive diagnostic I have ever had on any car. They did not check anything during the full point inspection outside of the known issue. While this is difficult to prove, it is curious my car overheated due to low coolant less than 7 days later which would have been obvious during a real inspection. The part I asked them to check was right next to the coolant reservoir. There is no way this could have been missed if the car were actually inspected.I ordered new parts online and installed them myself for a total of $60.If you have a difficult problem on hand and get a good quote from here maybe it is worth a try. There are plenty garages around the block though so keep that in mind. I wouldnt bother trying this place though unless it is an emergency.

Ricardo and his team are the best. Fixed my car and quoted me half of what another local autoshop charged for the same repair. Would not hesitate to use again, thanks Ricardo! A+!

Took my truck here. They did the timing, carburetor tuning, differential fluid change(both diffs), and transfer case fluid change. They did a good job for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Ricks Auto Repair informed me that I wouldnt be paying for the cost of labor as long as I ordered the part through Ricks Auto......he charged me $90 for labor. I questioned a mechanic named Ricardo and Zane the counter girl. Zane went silent as Ricardo left quickly smiling and hands in the air and wouldnt answer. I needed my car so I payed for the cost. Shortly after leaving my engine began to over heat drastically as I could see smoke coming from the engine. Pulled over, opened my hood and found one of Ricardos mechanics tools in the engine bay and destroyed a small mechanism that helps distribute coolant throughout the engine. I was forced to sell my car as I could not afford to pay for any more costs because I was using up too much moving money. I did call Zane and informed her what I had to do. I will not recommend Ricks Auto Repair to anyone.

On November 4th I called Ricks to see if I can have my car towed there to have it diagnosed. I was told(by Rick, I assume) that I can have it dropped off but he will not be able to look at it until the next day. Fine. On the 5th I did get a call from the same Male who stated that he tried to diagnose it but was going to call his friend who has a different machine that can check the key probe and try to reset the key. Also fine. After a couple days without hearing from them I decided to call. On the 7th around 1 oclock I was told by a female that the mechanic was with a customer and would call me back. After not getting a call, I called again after 6pm and no one answered. I called again on the 8th and I was told by the female that the mechanic had told her to tell me that they were waiting for the friend that was going to check the key probe and try to reset the key. I heard nothing from them again until the 12th so I called again. I was told the mechanic would call me when he got back from picking up parts. I still didnt receive a call when I called again on the 14th and spoke to the previously mentioned Male to let him know that I will have a tow truck to pick up my vehicle the next day. He stated that he was waiting on the friend to bring the machine to test the key probe. After all that time with no information or communication I decided to just remove my car and let the professionals handle it. Yes, I know I should have done that in the first place but I never had a problem when this shop was Westminster Garage. Anyway I could have let all that go and move on until today when I picked up my car from the dealership garage and found pen writing on my sun visor. How do I know that it occurred during the time it was at Ricks? Well they left their pen with the company logo right there in the cup holder. I dont know if these people think that writing on the interiors is ok or if they have kids playing in peoples vehicles while theyre sitting there not getting worked on which is very believable being that I found mini M&Ms on the floor while vacuuming. Either way, its not ok and super unprofessional.

I have a 2012 Chrysler 300C with the 5.7 Hemi. It would not start, so I called Ricks Auto Repair to see if they could work on it. I was relieved that they could get me in on the the same day I called. They called me back confirming that it was my starter. I was very surprised that they called me back a few hours later telling me that they had replaced it and was ready to pick up. I have to say that I was very impressed about how they got me in and back on the road in the time they did, and what they charged me ..... I have to say I got a super great deal!!!! I was very happy with them and would recommend them to all my friends and family!!!!!

I had been getting very depressed with my 96 Chevy Blazer and its engine trouble. It had been into the dealership 3 times and one other shop over a 3-4 month time frame all saying that I needed a TPS replacement. Twice it was replaced with no positive results. These visits including a water pump replacement cost over $1000. I was ready to give up and sell the vehicle but then I found Ricks Auto Repair. He replaced the ICV, cleaned out the throttle body and it works now :) Here is the best part. The price was better than repairpal estimates for the same ICV. I highly recommend Ricks shop for any automotive repair.
